Jen was our doula for the birth of our first child in April 2026. We had a wonderful experience with her throughout. She has a very relaxed, reassuring energy. Mama Bear is the perfect way to describe her vibe! Our first 2 meetings were great and she had information about everything we asked (and more!) She also sent follow up emails with lots of resources for us to look through after our initial sessions. In the final weeks leading up to the birth, she was very communicative and checked in frequently. She was very reassuring when I was having concerns and fears, and she really helped me to manage the anxiety I was feeling about childbirth. Jen also helped walk us through making an informed consent document (birth plan), but also supported us when we decided on something different in the moment while I was in labour. During early labour, she came to our home and helped support both my husband and I with various positions, counter pressure, pain management, and decision making. She accompanied us to the hospital, helped us settle in, and came back after I had rested for several hours. She arrived before the birth and was a strong advocate for me with the midwives and hospital staff, and it took a lot of pressure off of my husband (who was already doing so much to help). It was so helpful to have someone who was familiar with the birthing process and hospital by our side for support. Jen's postpartum visit was so lovely! Seeing her again in a relaxed way after such intensity was really special. She held the baby and gave us some tips and advice on what to expect in the coming weeks. I expect we will ask her for some extra post-partum visits once my husband is back at work. What an amazing woman to have involved with our baby's life. We are so lucky to have found her. We would wholeheartedly recommend her to anyone looking for doula support. Thank you, Jen!

Christian doula serving mothers in the GTA & beyond, throughout pregnancy, birth, & postpartum. Personalized birth support rooted in physiology, faith, & hope. As one of nine children, my love for children, pregnancy, and birth began early, inspired by my mother’s own birth stories. This passion led me to become a certified doula through GoMidwife and Intentional Birth, along with additional midwifery education and a year-long apprenticeship under a midwife in the US. Having supported over 70 women through pregnancy and birth, I am passionate about helping mothers understand physiologic birth, navigate their options, communicate confidently with their care providers, and make informed decisions. I believe God has intricately designed women’s bodies to birth and nurture their babies, while also recognizing that medical intervention is sometimes necessary. My goal is to equip and encourage women to approach birth with confidence, trust, and hope—and to feel empowered as they welcome their babies and enter motherhood.

We are so grateful for the support and care Shannon gave us throughout the journey of welcoming our first baby. She shared so much knowledge and went above and beyond in sharing resources and answering our questions. She helped us feel informed, prepared, and confident every step of the way. When the birth didn’t go according to plan, she was there to support us during a very emotional time. Her kindness and presence made such a difference in our experience. She truly went above and beyond in her care for our family, during pregnancy and postpartum. We couldn’t have asked for a better person to guide us through this journey! Shannon is truly wonderful!!

Hi Families! I’m a certified birth and postpartum doula serving families across the GTA, with a strong presence in the Peel Region. I specialize in lactation and breastfeeding support, offering compassionate, evidence-based care to help families feel confident and supported throughout their journey into parenthood. My approach is rooted in the belief that there is no “one-size-fits-all” when it comes to birth, feeding, or postpartum care. Every family is unique, and I take the time to understand your values, goals, and needs so I can provide personalized, respectful support that aligns with your vision. Whether you’re preparing for birth, navigating early feeding, or adjusting to life with a newborn, I’m here to walk alongside you with patience, warmth, and encouragement. Beyond my work as a doula, I’m a proud mother to my 8-year-old daughter, who continues to inspire my passion for supporting other families. In my free time, I enjoy expressing creativity through art and spending time gardening—both of which ground me and bring a sense of balance to the nurturing work I do. I’m honored to be part of such an important chapter in your life and look forward to supporting you every step of the way.

Ciera supported our family with postpartum doula services 5 days a week for just over 4 months following the birth of our daughter, and what a difference she made. She is professional, dependable and quickly became well integrated within the household (our older children were always excited to see her!). She has such a way with babies, our daughter very quickly developed into a sound overnight sleeper. We were also grateful that she worked with us to ensure we could be reimbursed through Carrot insurance. I would recommend Ciera to any expecting parent who is looking for calm guidance, professional support and loving care for their newborns.

⚜️About Me:⚜️ I’m Kailey Yeager, owner of Naturally Nurtured Doula Care LLC, wife, and proud mother of two. My experiences as a mother of a child with special needs inspired me to become a passionate advocate for families navigating healthcare, education, and community support systems. As a community-based, high-risk doula, my goal is to provide compassionate, evidence-informed support throughout pregnancy, birth, and the postpartum journey. I believe parents deserve access to accurate information, quality education, and trusted resources so they can make informed decisions that are right for their unique families. My role is not to make decisions for parents, but to ensure they feel confident, respected, and empowered as they make those decisions themselves. Beyond my doula work, I am deeply committed to advocacy. I have advocated for improved access to Early Intervention and preschool special education services, helping raise awareness of the barriers families face in obtaining timely evaluations, services, and support. I am passionate about ensuring children with special needs and their families have access to the services, resources, and opportunities they deserve. I currently serve as Vice President of the Brockport PTSA, where I work to strengthen partnerships between families, schools, and the community through volunteerism, parent engagement, and educational initiatives. I also serve as the Brockport Central School District TIES Program Coordinator, coordinating inclusive social and recreational opportunities that bring together students with and without disabilities. Whether I am supporting an expectant parent, advocating for a child with special needs, leading community programs, or connecting families with local resources, my mission is to provide the knowledge, encouragement, and support that help families make informed choices with confidence.
