My passion for birth work began at age 14 when I unexpectedly supported my aunt during an unplanned home birth. Being by her side during such a powerful moment showed me how meaningful it is to support mothers through labor, and it inspired my commitment to birth work. I have been a trained doula since 2022 and have supported approximately 15 mothers through 17 births. Through these experiences, I have developed confidence in providing emotional, physical, and informational support while remaining calm and attentive in fast-paced situations. Over the years I've worked events, birthday parties, summer camps, served in kid's ministry, led a middle school small group and served as a Young Life leader. And on top of it ALL I have the privilege of loving on my newborn nephew and helping my special needs father when I visit home & taking care of my dog, Theo, for almost a year now!
