Hello!. My name is Destiny Macri. I live in Clarkrange TN and have lived there my whole life. I have an amazing husband and a wonderful little boy. The reason I have decided to become a doula is to help advocate for mothers. Also help you to have an amazing birth experience. What inspired my passion to become a birth doula is my own personal birth experience. I had my son in 2024. I had to be induced, but I was determined to have him naturally. With the help of my husband, numerous nurses, my midwife, and everyone else in the room screaming and cheering me on I did it!. I knew then that I wanted to be there to help support someone else in their journey weither it be with an epidural, naturally, or a c- section. I also am working into becoming a lacation specialist, so with my training and my own breastfeeding experience, I will be able to help mothers accomplish breastfeeding. I am looking forward to working with you all, amd helping you all achieve a memorable and most amazing birth possible.

My love and passion for birth work came after my own 4 very individual birth experiences, along with attending the births of friends and family members babies. I began to recognize that there was something truly amazing that occurred when women were given the support and education to be empowered as birthing mothers! Recognizing that when these mothers were given the tools they needed to make educated choices, that were right for them, they were also given the power to shape their birth stories in a way that was their own. I have a special place in my heart for first time moms navigating their options and helping new families get started on their journey to parenthood!
