Hi my name is Nikkita and I am a labor doula and placenta encapsulation specialist based in DE. I've always had a love and awe for the miracle of conception, labor, and childbirth even before having kids of my own. Reflecting on my three different birthing experiences catapulted my desire to support and empower expecting mothers before during and after their labor. Hi I'm Chris! I'm super passionate about all things birth. I'm a birth and postpartum doula and a lactation councelor. I have 4 grown children, I was a sign language interpreter many years ago, and worked in a local church for 20 years. I was incredibly nieve and uninformed when I had my children and it is my hearts desire to support moms through pregnancy and birth as well as those first few months after baby is born. I have no preconcieved notions as to how your birth should or should not go. I believe in supporting you in the way that fits you the best while informing you of all your options. In addition to the new strict covid regulations— I was also told the devastating news that I was at high risk for preterm labor. I started researching and reaching out to other birth professionals for advice while doing everything I possibly could to prevent preterm birth. By God’s Grace, I birthed my baby girl at full term! Through my experience, I realized the importance of doulas. My pregnancy and birth awoke a deep desire to be a doula myself. So, I followed my heart!
