I live in Lakeville and am serving around the Twin Cities area. My interest in being a doula started when I realized I was really fascinated with birth after having my daughter. I also love supporting those around me and supporting expecting moms seemed to be the best way to support those in my community. My personal experience with pregnancy and birth were both challenging and empowering. To hear that story you would hear about personal transformation, courage, fear, and an immense amount of joy. I am a certified doula through Community Aware Birthworker, trained as a Full Spectrum Doula through Birthing Advocacy Doula Trainings, and a trained HypnoDoula through Hypnobabies®. It is important to me to continually learn and grow as I support families with evidence-based information so that they can make the best decisions for themselves and their families. As a Full Spectrum Doula, I strive to help pregnant people and their families feel respected, informed, heard, and held as they navigate life changes in the prenatal, birth, and postpartum experiences. I believe that all pregnant people have an innate power and inner knowing that is revealed through the birthing process. My role is to support birthing people (and their support person), whether that’s physically holding hips or emotionally holding space.

I’m Paige and I’m a mom of 3. I spent most of my young adult life working with people with developmental disabilities. After that, I received my Sign Language Interpreting degree from Saint Paul College and worked with Deaf/Hard of Hearing folks before becoming a stay-at-home mom. I have spent the last several years raising my kids. It hasn’t always been easy, but it’s my favorite job yet! Now it’s time for me to do what I really love: postpartum work! I have always been passionate about families, pregnancy, birth, babies, and postpartum. Parents deserve so much more support and education as they are growing their families. Many people tend to focus only on pregnancy and preparing for birth, but they don’t spend time preparing for postpartum. My goal is to help families be more prepared and supported for all that comes when adding a new baby to the family. I want families to have a smoother and more peaceful postpartum experience. I am based out of South Saint Paul, Minnesota and am currently serving the greater Twin Cities area.

I have been professionally trained by Dr. Robin Elise Weiss through DONA International and have been working with babies and in childcare for 5+ years. I am so excited to begin this incredible journey with you. I have always been passionate about working with families and babies in whatever capacity I could, and I aspire to be a midwife and eventually own/run a birth center focusing on holistic care. I strongly believe that birth is a beautiful, natural process that a woman’s body was made to do and that you, as the birthing person, are wholly capable of bringing your baby into the world. I have always been drawn to newborns, infants, children of all ages, and their families. There is a richness in family life that always brings about such a great sense of wonder and awe. There is a way a baby or toddler looks back at you and you know they don’t care what color your hair is, how many wrinkles you have, if you are overweight, underweight, or have zero sense of style. They just know how to LOVE. It is that unconditional love and trust in a baby’s eyes that instilled a strong desire in my heart to protect this innocence and trust by providing families with care providers they could trust. My Name is Tona, and I am passionate about the sacred rhythms of pregnancy, birth, and postpartum. I have always been drawn to the path of supporting women and birth, and when the idea of a doula was introduced to me many years ago, I knew that it was my calling. There is nothing that lights me up more than being in the birth space with a woman and holding her through this beautiful, raw and powerful initiation. As your doula, I tend to you as a sister, a friend, a mother and a space holder. My mission is to hold you like the village would have held us all.

I am a South Minneapolis-based birth doula and massage therapist. I have been a bodyworker for eight years, and co-own Total Solace Massage in Uptown, Minneapolis. I have attended trainings by DONA (2018) and Community Aware Birthworker (2024). My approach to birth is open-minded. I believe my role is to help you have the right experience for you, to make sure you know what options you have, and then help you navigate whatever is in the cards. Regardless of your birthing wishes, I bring my grounded, dedicated presence to my clients before, during and after the birthing time. Much of my life orbits care-work, especially through building strong community connections and supporting human bodies as they navigate change. I have been working with children and their families since I was a teenager (more than 10 years now!) and am so passionate about families and making sure that every family has the best start imaginable. I believe that giving birth should be empowering and focus on the choices that you are able to make and on giving you the information that you need to make those choices. I will advocate for your decisions, from everything from what music to be played to what pain management you would prefer, and I will also hold space in the moment for any changes that you need. Hi, I'm Eleanor Trenary. I believe that all expectant parents deserve an empowered birthing experience. No matter how you give birth, you should feel like you understand your options and are respected, supported, and cared for throughout your birthing journey. I am a mom with a lifelong passion for reproductive rights and gender equity, and have enjoyed being an advocate in many different settings. As my friends started having kids, and I went through my own pregnancy and birthing journey, I realized the powerful role that doulas play and the benefit of having continuous support for birthing people and their partners. I started reading and learning more about birth, taking childbirth education classes, and eventually completed full Doula and Lactation training with Community Aware Birthworker. When I’m not doula-ing, you can find me hiking, drinking tea, knitting, and soaking up snuggles with my husband and son. My first career is in public policy and I currently work as an environmental lobbyist. I graduated from Macalester College and have a Masters in Public Affairs from Indiana University.

I’ve supported hundreds of people at various stages of their pregnancy, labor, postpartum, and/or parenting journeys and spent many long, beautiful days and nights caring for little ones as early as their first day. I've seen the blissful joy, the belly laughs, the overwhelming heartbreak, the confusion and indecision, the long sleepless nights, and the uncontrollable tears, and I am here for it all. I'm a certified full spectrum doula providing loving newborn care and physical, emotional, and informational support to anyone who is, thinks they might be, or recently was pregnant. I am 21 years old and I am also married with 2 wonderful children! I had a doula for my first birth and I've never felt so secure. I had someone who had me, my boundaries and wants in mind. I never knew what i wanted to do as a career and after that whole experience I knew exactly what i wanted to do. Birth is such a vulnerable process and emotions are high. My goal as a Doula is to remind mothers that they are powerful and courageous! I love the feeling when i see mothers realize they are meant for this and they can do it with out a doubt!!<3

This is a quote that has stuck with me as I explore my career path. Becoming a doula is something I did not follow through with until the murder of George Floyd. Seeing the striking images of pregnant Black mothers protesting around the country ignited the fire in me to finally complete my training to become a certified perinatal educator - meaning I can provide childbirth education, prenatal support, labor and delivery support, lactation support, and newborn care support. But my calling to birth work started on the day I was born with my mother being hospitalized for 2 months postpartum from an avoidable mistake during an emergency c-section. I value empathy, collaboration, and being open minded. As a doula, I am intentional about serving my clients in a way that supports self-empowerment, so they feel they have all the information they feel they need to make the best decision for them and their baby/babies. I do not shy away from vulnerability, and I believe this allows me to have relationships with my clients built on trust.
