Noa is THE BEST. My husband and I met her a couple of weeks postpartum when she appeared at our doorstep at 10p sharp as our overnight doula so we could sleep. Not only did Noa take excellent, loving care of our daughter and leave our house *spotless* in the morning (dishes, bottles, tidying, pump parts, laundry -- you name it, she did it), but she quickly became a wonderful friend and confidant. She brought joy, calm, and laughter into our house during a time that could be so emotionally fraught, and, boy, did we appreciate her for it. We had so much fun! What a far cry from my first postpartum experience, where we had no support and white-knuckled our way through. I know Noa is no longer doing overnight postpartum care, but I am confident that Noa brings the same energy, thoughtfulness, care, and diligence (and good humor) to labor. It's who she is. We actually first met Noa when she taught our labor class, and it was clear during the day-long course that she would be an amazing labor doula. Not only does Noa know her stuff, but she connects with moms and partners to empower them and help them accomplish the labor experience they want. If we were to have another baby, I would 1000% want Noa by my side during delivery.

Annika joined our family for 2 months with our second baby and her help was such a relief for us through the sleepless nights. We had the first 6 weeks covered through our insurance and ended up extending her 2 more weeks out of pocket. Annika was easy to work with in terms of extending the contract -- and luckily she had another client after us otherwise we may have continued booking for another 3 months! During those months she actually helped us identify that our daughter was having silent reflux. Long story short, our baby ended up having multiple tongue ties that we got revised and wouldn't have figured out so quickly without Annika's recommendation to get her looked at! She never claimed to have expertise in areas she didn't know about and always guided us towards someone who did. Since the tongue ties were revised I was able to continue my breastfeeding journey. Annika was always on time, eager to help, wore a mask around our baby (I didn't know what she looked like without one until one of our last nights!) and sent detailed notes at the end of each night. I loved being able to know what happened throughout the night between feeding sessions even when someone else was holding my baby. I had never had a doula before but if I ever have a third child I will make sure that Annika is available. Not only are her services top notch, she is a lovely person to be around and so sweet. We love Annika and recommend her 100%!

I have always had a passion for working with children and families. I grew up on a small island in the heart of the Florida Keys. From an early age, I began babysitting and nannying. Once I graduated from high school, I decided to major in Early Childhood Education with a minor in Psychology. I earned my bachelor’s degree from Florida State University and returned to the Keys to teach elementary school. For 10 years, I worked with many families and children of different ages and abilities, including those with special needs. During this time, I also began practicing yoga and as cliché as it may sound, yoga changed my life. It has provided me with an outlet to focus the mind, control the breath, and explore and appreciate the body. I decided that I wanted to share the powerful and lasting benefits of this practice with others. I have studied hatha, vinyasa, yoga philosophy, meditation, standup paddleboard yoga, and pregnancy + postnatal yoga. It was during my pregnancy + postnatal yoga training that I became interested in becoming a doula. I felt compelled to find a way to provide much needed support for individuals and families before, during, and after birth. I decided then, to pursue a new life and career path. I trained through DONA International to become a certified birth and postpartum doula. I have taken various additional trainings such as Body Ready Method®, Spinning Babies® workshops, rebozo techniques, LGBTQ+ family equality, Spinning Babies® certified parent education, basics of breastfeeding, and infant first aid and CPR. I am committed to using my experience, knowledge, and ability to hold space to provide unbiased informational, emotional, and physical support that empowers you to make the right choices for yourself and your family.

We chose Shaina based on her previous reviews and were especially drawn to those that mentioned her expertise with difficult births and her ability to slow things down and success avoiding C sections with healthy births. We delivered our IVF pregnancy on April 2026 and remain so grateful Shaina was part of our journey and birthing team. She was available for all questions both before and during the birth. She was the expert in our corner for all medical decisions going into our 39 week induction and made us feel 100% confident in the decisions we were making. During the birth, I could not be more grateful for the focus and support Shaina provided. Once things got going, she immediately told us she was the only voice we needed to focus on and she would translate and pass along everything the medical team was saying or asking. She kept my wife so focused and calm the medical team had to come running because labor moved along so much faster and efficiently than any on the team expected. I strongly believe Shaina made pushing and active labor so manageable our healthy baby came many hours earlier than all predictions. She is the calming voice and empathetic expert you need in the room and I would highly recommend Shaina to anyone on a pregnancy journey.

I love Perri! She was there for me last minute for my birth and i wouldn’t have made it without her. She took on almost everything and got me to understand the nurses and doctors. As a single mom i was overwhelmed, nervous, terrified, and more. With with all that, I’m glad she showed up last minute when she was called because i had literally no one that could be there and by the grace of god she showed up and so did my sons godmother. She doesn’t just stop at the hospital. Still, throughout my postpartum, she has still given me 110% support and is able to guide me into motherhood smoothly. She will forever be apart of our lives. I 100000/10 recommend her to any mothers in need of a supportive doula.

Cheyenne Fletcher

Hi, I’m Cheyenne! I take great pride in the care and services I offer. With over eight years of experience as a birth, bereavement, and postpartum doula and more than fifteen years as a professional caregiver and house manager, I am deeply dedicated to supporting families as they grow, learn, and navigate parenthood. I am also a licensed foster parent in California, serving the San Diego County community with compassion and commitment. I value word-of-mouth connections because they build trust and create a more personal experience, allowing families to feel comfortable reaching out with any questions. I can’t wait to connect with you!

Recent review

Cheyenne has such a warm, engaging presence, it was impossible to not feel her support as navigating my pre- & postpartum journey with both of my boys. Whether she was sharing tools and guiding me and my husband through them, empathizing with my anxieties as a new parent, standing up for my wishes with providers, or engaging me individually in support of creating the best environment for my boys to enter the world, I felt her standing by my side and rooting for me. Cheyenne has an indepth knowledge of pre- & postpartum navigation for both Mom and baby, and her collaboration with and referrals to other providers were So helpful on multiple occasions (for pregnancy massage to support baby being head down & lactation supports related to bottle refusal). I strongly recommend Cheyenne if you are considering having someone by your side for pre- or postpartum navigation.

Barbara Boyle

Barbara Boyle

5 years of experience

Hi, I’m Barbara! I’m a certified Newborn Care Specialist (NCS), postpartum doula support provider, and a mom to a toddler girl. With over 5 years of hands-on experience caring for newborns and infants—including children with special needs—I bring both professional knowledge and real-life understanding to every family I support. I specialize in overnight newborn care, helping parents get the rest they need while ensuring their baby is safe, soothed, and well cared for throughout the night. I am experienced with paced bottle feeding, recognizing newborn cues, soothing techniques, and supporting healthy sleep habits from the very beginning. I know how overwhelming the newborn stage can feel, and my goal is to bring a calm, reliable, and nurturing presence into your home so you can feel supported, confident, and truly rest.

Recent review

There are truly not enough words to express how grateful we are for Barbara. Bringing home a newborn for the second time, I thought I knew what to expect but postpartum is still such a vulnerable, emotional and exhausting season. Having Barbara with our family for the last 2.5 months completely changed our experience in the best possible way. From the very beginning, Barbara brought such a calming, nurturing, and reassuring presence into our home. She cared for our daughter with so much love, gentleness, patience, and attentiveness that it immediately gave me peace as a new postpartum mom. She didn’t just help with our baby but she cared for me, too which is something I will never forget. Barbara has such a gift with newborns and our girl genuinely became a happier, more settled, more content baby under her care and guidance. Barbara helped us establish healthy routines, taught us so many helpful techniques, and always approached everything with such confidence and warmth. Even during hard nights or moments when I felt overwhelmed emotionally or physically, Barbara never made me feel judged or incapable. Instead, she encouraged me, reassured me, and helped build my confidence as a mother during one of the most emotional seasons of life. Because of Barbara, I was able to heal postpartum more peacefully, get more rest, feel more emotionally supported, and truly enjoy these precious newborn months instead of just surviving them. She helped create calm in our home during a time that can otherwise feel chaotic and exhausting. I honestly can say I am a better, stronger, more confident mom because of her support. Not only is Barbara incredibly knowledgeable and professional, but she is also deeply compassionate and intuitive. She became such a trusted part of our family, and having her in our home never once felt intrusive but rather comforting, safe, and supportive. She treated our daughter with the same tenderness and care that family would. Watching someone love and care for your baby in the middle of postpartum is incredibly emotional, and Barbara gave us the greatest gift: peace of mind. Knowing our baby was in such loving, capable hands allowed me to breathe again. We will forever look back on this season with gratitude because of Barbara. Any family would be beyond blessed to have her support during the newborn stage. She is truly exceptional at what she does, and I cannot recommend her highly enough.

Hi I'm Natalie! I’m a birth doula and childbirth educator, and my role is to support families through pregnancy and birth, with personal, informed, and practical care. Birth is unpredictable, and many parents enter it unsure of what to expect or how they will handle the intensity of labor. As a doula, I’m there to help you navigate that experience in real time - offering continuous emotional support, practical tools, and a calm presence throughout your birth. I support you with comfort measures, guidance with movement and positioning, and helping you stay grounded as labor progress. My support is flexible - I can be hands-on or more in the background, based on what feels right for you. I also support your partner, giving them clear ways to be involved and confident in how they help you. My approach is to respect and support your choices. I don’t have an agenda for how your birth should look. Whether you’re planning a medicated or unmedicated birth, or your plans change along the way, I’m there to help you feel informed, supported, and able to make decisions that feel right for you. I also help you understand what’s happening during labor and what your options are, so you can feel less overwhelmed and more capable of making an informed decisions. A big part of my support is emotional. Having someone by your side who knows you, understands your preferences, and can help you stay connected to yourself in the moment can make a meaningful difference in how you experience your birth. Ultimately, my role is to walk alongside you, offering reassurance and practical support, so you can move through birth feeling confident and empowered.

I cannot begin to express how amazing Natalie was throughout our journey. Before our first home visit, my husband and I didn't know what to expect when welcoming someone into our home to talk about something so intimate and foreign. Upon meeting Natalie, we felt as though we had been friends for a while and we instantly felt comfortable. Not only did she answer our questions, some far fetched, she also asked us questions that would help prepare us for labor and shared so much knowledge at every visit. I went into labor 8 days early so we missed our last meeting, which would have been preparing for the actual labor. Natalie arrived at the hospital when I was 3cm dilated and ready to go. She followed my birth plan, made sure the nurses and midwife knew what it was and reminded me of my pregnancy affirmations throughout every contraction. Even when I was in pain, she was encouraging and provided different techniques. She never overshadowed my husband and offered suggestions on how he could be helpful as well. We both felt so comfortable having her in the room during such a vulnerable time. Her energy throughout the whole process was amazing and I'm beyond thankful she was a part of my pregnancy journey and couldn't have done this without her.

Hello, I’m Rosalie Chases & I am a postpartum doula serving the San Diego area. I have three children of my own & I absolutely love the work I do! I am trained through Dona International & Carrot eligible.

We truly cannot put into words what Rosalie meant to our family during those early newborn weeks. She came into our lives at a time that felt overwhelming, emotional, and exhausting, and somehow brought a sense of calm, confidence, and steadiness that we didn’t know we needed so deeply. From the very beginning, we trusted her completely. The way she cared for our baby was so gentle, intuitive, and full of love, it felt like he was safe with someone who truly saw him. She didn’t just help us get through the nights, she helped us become parents. She guided us through feeding challenges, soothed him through the hardest moments, and taught us how to better understand and care for him. Her presence made everything feel more manageable. We were counting down the minutes until she would come. She was also incredibly intuitive when it came to me. She could sense when I was feeling overwhelmed or unsure and always met me with reassurance and guidance. Whether it was encouraging me to call the pediatrician when something didn’t feel right or simply reminding me to trust myself, she supported me in a way that went far beyond just caring for our baby. Saying goodbye to her was incredibly hard. We genuinely had to brace ourselves for it that entire week. There is something so special, and honestly emotional, about watching someone love and care for your baby the way Rosalie did. It’s not something you forget. We are forever grateful for her. She made one of the most vulnerable seasons of our lives feel supported, safe, and even beautiful in moments. Any family would be beyond lucky to have her, and we will always hold her in such a special place in our hearts.

I’m a dedicated postpartum doula and proud mom of two boys, with a deep passion for supporting families during the early stages of parenthood. My journey working with children began in a Montessori setting, where I cared for little ones ranging from 6 weeks to 5 years old. That experience, along with years of babysitting, helped me develop a strong understanding of child development and a genuine love for nurturing young children. Before becoming a postpartum doula, I worked as an overnight nanny, supporting families through those tender and often exhausting newborn nights. It was during this time that I realized how meaningful it was to care not just for babies, but for parents as well. Wanting to provide more intentional, informed support, I pursued professional training to become a postpartum doula. Now, I’m honored to walk alongside families as they adjust to life with a new baby—offering compassionate care, practical guidance, and a calm, reassuring presence during this special transition.

Andrea is truly one of the most insightful doulas I could have asked for. She completely exceeded all of my expectations, from her knowledge and guidance with breastfeeding to how incredibly helpful she was throughout the night with my newborn. She also has such a warm, inviting energy that made me feel comfortable and supported from the start. I’m so grateful for her support and would absolutely book with her again!

I live in OC with my three amazing children! If I’m not at a birth, you will find us at the beach surfing, playing, and enjoying the outdoors. I fell in love with all things birth when I became pregnant with my 1st child in 2008. As an avid reader and researcher, I made it my goal to learn everything I possibly could about the biology and physiology of birth, and how to have optimal health during and after pregnancy for both me and my baby. Like many first-time moms I have worked with, I had hesitations about giving birth to my 1st baby outside of a hospital setting. After all my research, classes, and conversations with midwives, I gained confidence in aiming for an unmedicated birthing experience. I found some lovely midwifes who had a midwifery ward in a hospital and gave birth to my 1st son unmedicated. Twenty-four hours of intense back labor from a posterior-positioned baby …but, I did it! My body actually did it! After birthing my first, statistically knowing it was the most challenging and longest labor, gave me confidence to choose home births for my second and third children. I had a successful home water birth with my second child and wanted to repeat that with my third. However, while laboring on the toilet with him, I suddenly dropped to my knees when he began to crown, and he became known as my bathroom floor “butter birth” baby :). Though I chose unmedicated births for myself, I do know it is not for everyone, which is more than OK! I quickly learned from my role as a doula that every woman’s body, medical history, and background are uniquely different. Many factors play into choosing the right birth for you. I am here to come alongside you, help you make an informed decision, and then support you every step of the way. I offer very personable and compassionate care. My approach is non-agenda-based, trauma-informed, and holistic-minded. No matter your history or past experiences, I am here to be a safe place for you. I will help educate, support, and advocate for you and your personal wishes. I look forward getting to know you and building a trusting relationship to where you feel 100% comfortable having me by your side for one of the biggest days of your life. 🙂 I am here for you! Lauren
