I'm thrilled to share about the amazing help we received from Kelly Hickman as our sibling support doula. Kelly's commitment and knowledge were truly outstanding. She managed to take care of our older child while also providing invaluable assistance to our birth doula during my wife's home birth. Kelly offered us two home visits prior to the birth of our daughter to answer all of our questions and to spend quality one on one time with our 3 year old son, engaging with him in his favorite activities. She took pictures with him so we could look at them together as a family and talk with him about how his friend Kelly was going to come back and play with him soon when mommy was having his baby sister. She really took the time to bond and form a genuine connection with him, and because of that, he very much looked forward to his time with her when she finally returned for the birth. Her sincere care, attentiveness, and ability to handle multiple tasks made a significant impact during this important time for our family. Kelly's presence provided comfort and reassurance, and her dedication to the well-being of both my children was truly extraordinary. I'm incredibly thankful for her exceptional support and wholeheartedly recommend her services to anyone in need of a compassionate and skilled doula.

Nori was the whole reason my birth experience went as smoothly as it did. Not only did she prepare me and my husband for what would likely occur, but she prepped us beforehand with research behind the decisions that are made during these moments. This was so unbelievably smart and helpful to discuss beforehand, so we didn’t have to make any hard decisions during labor. Nori also provided such a comfort, not only physically, but emotionally and mentally. She helped my husband learn ways to help me manage labor pains, paid attention to what sort of environment I preferred, and even took photos of us with our newborn. I can’t imagine not choosing Nori!

Ayden My Birth Doula was an absolute lifesaver throughout my entire birth journey. From our prenatal visit to postnatal support, she was incredibly informative, knowledgeable, and always on time. She helped me understand what to expect, even knowing that birth can be an unexpected process at times, which gave me confidence and peace of mind going into labor. As a single mom by choice, Ayden was especially respectful and empathetic to my unique needs and how they differ from those of a couple. She was deeply supportive, caring, and thoughtful, never dismissive, and always made me feel seen, understood, and honored in my experience. During birth, Ayden was kind, nurturing, and remarkably calm. Her lovely positive affirmations and strong, grounding words helped me stay focused and empowered. Her intuitive guidance, especially with birth positioning for pushing was invaluable, and she attentively nurtured all of my needs, from snacks and water to maintaining dim lighting and a peaceful space. Giving birth to a Christmas baby unfortunately for me turned into travel nurses, and midwives and nothing going as planned. Yet, Ayden created calm within the chaos. She helped keep me grounded and feeling safe, and knowing she was by my side brought immense comfort. Her postnatal visit was just as supportive and reassuring, helping me process the experience and feel cared for beyond the birth itself. I truly cannot imagine my birth experience without Ayden’s support. Truly a Doula Angel Sent to help bring my baby girl into this world safely and as calm as possible in the unknown.

I hold a Technical Degree in Nursing from Brazil, earned in 2010, with more than 2,090 hours of combined theoretical and clinical training. While this is not a U.S. nursing license, it provides a strong clinical foundation for the care and support I offer families. Throughout my professional career, I have gained extensive experience in maternal and newborn care, including supporting pregnant women, newborns, premature infants, and babies requiring specialized care. I bring seven years of hands-on experience working in a maternity hospital in Brazil, where I supported mothers during labor and provided direct care for newborns, including premature infants and babies in the NICU. This experience has given me extensive knowledge in supporting families with newborns who require specialized care. I offer both daytime and overnight support for newborns, premature infants, and their families during the postpartum period. My services include evidence-based newborn care, emotional support for parents, infant feeding guidance, healthy sleep foundations, and practical assistance to help families feel confident and well supported as they adjust to life with a new baby. Hi y'all! My name is Kaolin (Mi Cha) Cummins, and I am a multi-doula (certified birth doula, postpartum doula, multiracial, multilingual, 2-spirit, multi-momma, etc.) who primarily serves the Kitsap area, traveling up to 40mi. to the surrounding areas to provide care for QTBIPOC families. I am originally from South Carolina, and grew up all around the south, eventually moving to Kitsap due to the military. I've been here a while, but I'll always call the Carolinas my home. I am passionate about all things related to the cycle of life, from women's health to preconception, conception, pregnancy, birth, postpartum, life changes, and beyond. I've always had the calling to help others, and have been in caregiving(focused work with children with special needs and the elderly/disabled)/medical-related fields prior to becoming a doula. I realized after my second baby that my calling in life is to be a source of education, positivity, and support for new (and pro) parents through these changes, as one can never have or give too much support. I noticed the lack of QTBIPOC doulas in my area and realized that the lack of representation and access to providers that looked and lived like me was common everywhere, and that just won't do! Outside of being a doula, I am focused on pursuing a career as a CNM (Nurse Midwife) and am determined to mesh the Indigenous & Asian cultural practices I grew up with and the scientific and medicinal knowledge I am currently learning. I hope that in bridging both "worlds", we can foster person-focused care that will assist in creating fewer medical interventions in birth, and also provide exceptional care to parents who need medically necessary care but otherwise would not be able to attain it in other circumstances(i.e., low-income/wage disparity, inaccessibility to a provider of color, and LGBTQ+ conscious medical professionals, etc.). I believe access to information is one of the key players in having a successful birth/parental journey. I strive to create a judgment-free practice, to serve as a provider who assists in these beautiful changes in life. My goal is to leave the world better than I found it and to provide parents/caregivers with the informational and emotional support they need to get through life's events. You don't have to do it alone! Outside of doula work/becoming a midwife, I love spending time with my own little family, and doing anything creative/expressionist! I am a bit of an introvert, but you might catch me on the dance floor if the music's good!

We found Oksanna in early 2026 and feel so lucky to have come across her post. We used a night nanny with our first daughter and knew we'd want one again after such a great experience, but Oksanna was even better than the person we had before. She was flexible, started as soon as we needed her, and worked around our hectic schedules. Thanks to her, the first four months with our new daughter were enjoyable instead of stressful, and we could rest easy every night knowing our baby was in diligent, capable hands. Oksanna was an OB/GYN surgeon in Russia, where she ran entire floors of obstetric, neonatal, and pediatric patients. As physicians ourselves, my husband and I knew her level of competency was far beyond what one newborn requires. She is vastly overqualified for the job, and it shows. Even more special, her expertise is matched by the warmth and love she gives a child who isn't her own. I often found her singing Russian lullabies to soothe our daughter. Our daughter has slept through the night since she was four months old, and I truly believe Oksanna had a lot to do with it. We can't recommend her highly enough!

Ciarra is a very dependable, responsible, and supportive Doula. She provided overnight care for me and my newborn weekly during the first two months postpartum. Ciarra is very communicative, and I could always count on her to reach out ahead of time to confirm which days she would be available. She also impressed me by keeping a log of my baby's activities overnight, including feedings, diapers, etc. Ciarra also went the extra mile by talking care of light household chores like bottle washing and sweeping, while I got caught up on some much needed rest. I cannot express enough just how much Ciarra positively impacted my postpartum period, by providing the support I needed to feel a bit more rested and rejuvenated to return to caring for my baby myself. I would not hesitate to recommend Ciarra to a new parent looking for some extra support!

I honestly don't know if words can fully capture what an incredible person Hailey is. She is, without question, one of the kindest, most compassionate, and most genuinely loving people I have ever had the privilege of knowing. As my toddler's teacher, Hailey has been nothing short of extraordinary. She has a beautiful gift for making children feel safe, cherished, and important. My child absolutely adores her, and as a parent, there is no greater comfort than knowing your little one is being cared for by someone who loves and nurtures them so wholeheartedly. But what makes Hailey truly special is that her care extends far beyond the children in her classroom. She has been an incredible source of support to me as a toddler mom. She has celebrated milestones with us, listened without judgment, reassured me during hard moments, and always greeted us with warmth, kindness, and genuine care. She somehow has a way of making you feel like you're not just another parent dropping off your child—she makes you feel seen, supported, and deeply cared for. Trust is everything when it comes to my child, and I trust Hailey completely. I would trust her with my baby without hesitation because I know her heart. She cares deeply, loves fiercely, and shows up for people in the most thoughtful and compassionate ways. She is the kind of person who makes everyone around her feel a little more at ease and a little more loved. I cannot imagine anyone more perfectly suited to becoming a doula. Bringing a new baby into the world is one of the most vulnerable and meaningful experiences a family can have, and every family deserves someone like Hailey by their side. She has the gentleness, empathy, patience, and calming presence that cannot be taught. She is the person you want holding your hand, encouraging you, and reminding you that you are capable and cared for. Hailey is simply one of those rare people who make the world a better, softer, and kinder place just by being in it. Any family lucky enough to have her as their doula will be receiving so much more than support during birth and postpartum—they will be receiving the love, care, and presence of an absolutely extraordinary human being. Our family has been profoundly touched by her kindness, and we will always be grateful for the love she has given both our child and us.

Hi, I’m MacKenzie, a certified birth and postpartum doula! I’ve been serving families throughout King, Snohomish, and Skagit counties for the past few years. I’ve always had a deep love for birth, even from a young age! My passion and curiosity around feeding and lactation are what initially drew me to doula work as a career, and I’ve loved being able to support families not only through labor and birth, but also through those tender and often overwhelming early days at home. As I continue to serve families in their homes, birth centers, and hospital settings, it is truly an honor to be invited into such an important and personal season of their lives. My goal is to nurture a judgment-free space where each family feels heard, respected, and cared for, while also helping families feel empowered in their choices and confident as they find their own way into parenthood. In my free time, I love going on adventures with my family, or snuggling up with a good book and a cozy blanket, surrounded by my cats and dog.

We had a wonderful experience working with MacKenzie as our birth and postpartum doula. As first-time parents, we had so many questions throughout pregnancy, birth, and the postpartum period, and MacKenzie was always incredibly patient and thoughtful in answering them. She has a lot of knowledge and experience and was able to give us the information and perspective we needed without ever making us feel overwhelmed. Her prenatal visits were especially helpful in preparing us for what to expect during labor and delivery. She helped us understand our options, supported the choices that felt right for us, and advocated for me as the mom when needed, while always respecting that the decisions were ultimately ours. During labor, her calm and supportive presence helped both of us feel more confident during such an intense and unfamiliar experience. After the birth, she stayed with us to make sure breastfeeding was getting off to a good start. I also passed out after labor, and having MacKenzie there was incredibly reassuring. She helped me and my partner understand what was happening and navigate the situation when we were both exhausted and overwhelmed. We really appreciated that her support didn’t simply end once the baby was born. She was also a great resource during the postpartum period. Having someone experienced whom we could turn to with all of our first-time-parent questions made the transition into newborn life feel much less overwhelming. In addition, MacKenzie is a Carrot in-network provider, which was very helpful for us. She was willing to coordinate with us and make sure her invoices met Carrot’s reimbursement requirements, which made the reimbursement process much easier. We are very grateful to have had MacKenzie support us through such an important time in our lives, and we would absolutely recommend her to other expecting and new parents.
