Hospital Provide your estimated budget: I have Medicaid Humana Describe your birth plan: smooth hopefully unmediated birth I really wanted to get a doula because this is my first child and I really wanted some support I don’t have any family aswell so I don’t have anyone in my corner. being an immigrant it’s already hard enough dealing with that alone so I wanted to have someone that can be on my side and advocate for me.

I’d like to give birth in the comfort of my home; preferably a water birth but it doesn’t have to be. I’d prefer a black midwife/doula and I would need help with a birth plan as well as care up until my due date.

I plan to give birth at the hospital. We want someone who is going to advocate for our wants and health for me and baby. I have a cerclage placed so someone with that experience.

I plan to give birth at Tulane Lakeside hospital. My budget for doula services could be at least $1500 including insurance in network for birth experience. I would like my birthing experience to be vibrational (Hertz music) and calm atmosphere in preparation for birth. My OBGYN is older and well expert for labor and delivery. I will need emotional support and gentle care while in labor and would like to be giving the option to NOT lay on my back for labor (squat position or kneel position). Breast feeding is optional but preferred for baby to latch on.

Would like to know more about doula and services available for support during my pregnancy and during labor and delivery. Would like someone there that can help my husband provide support during the process as well.

I plan on having a hospital delivery and my insurance said they cover Doulas. I absolutely do not want a C-Section and no stress whatsoever. I’m big on advocating because I don’t do well with pain. I want help with breastfeeding and sleeping.
