I am a birth and postpartum doula, prenatal and children’s yoga teacher, and mother of two. Originally from Venezuela, I lived in France before moving to San Francisco 10 years ago, where motherhood transformed the direction of my life and work. Before becoming a full-time mom, I worked in research and studied at university in France. My passion for science, well-being, and lifelong learning continues to guide the way I support families today. My journey into birth work was deeply inspired by my own experiences with doulas. During my pregnancies and births, I felt the power of being supported, heard, and reassured during such an important transition. That support stayed with me and eventually led me to pursue doula training through DONA International. I completed a 36-hour DONA Birth Doula workshop that included 14 hours of Childbirth Education, 17 hours of DONA training, and 5 hours of Breastfeeding Education. I also completed Natural Resources (In San Francisco) Postpartum Doula Core Training.

An amazing doula, always attentive, caring, and affectionate towards both mom and baby. Joselyn is incredibly professional, reliable, approachable, and down-to-earth. She was by my side throughout my pregnancy, guiding me through my choices, but above all, offering a calm and reassuring presence whenever I needed it. She also speaks Spanish and French, which makes such a difference during deeply personal and intimate experiences like pregnancy, childbirth, and postpartum, especially for those of us who are not native English speakers. I cannot recommend her enough!! ❤️

Working with Angelica was such a meaningful part of our birth experience. From our first conversations, she made us feel comfortable, listened carefully to what mattered to us, and helped us prepare with practical tools and thoughtful conversations. She was warm, knowledgeable, reassuring, and genuinely invested in making sure we felt informed and supported. When our birth took an unexpected turn, Angelica’s presence became especially valuable. She helped us understand what was happening, gave us space to process our emotions and ask questions, and reminded us that our voices and choices still mattered. She supported both of us without ever taking over, helping my partner feel confident and involved throughout the experience. What stands out most is how cared for we felt. Angelica brought a wonderful combination of calm, compassion, practical knowledge, and genuine human connection. We felt supported, informed, and held during some of the most important and vulnerable moments of our lives. We’re so grateful she was part of our journey.

Welcome to Yes Doula! My name is Letisha McFarlane Hadley, and I am a DONA-trained Birth Doula, Bebo Mia trained Postpartum Doula, Certified Orgasmic Birth Practitioner, Mental Health First Aider and Co-Founder of Yes Doula, a New Jersey-based maternal wellness practice supporting families through both in-person and virtual care. My journey into birth work began at 21, when I supported my mother through her pregnancy and cesarean birth. Years later, I had the honor of supporting my sister through the births of my nieces. These experiences, along with my own three empowering and pleasurable births, sparked a deep calling to support other women and families through the transformative experience of birth. My perspective on birth shifted profoundly through the Orgasmic Birth Practitioner Program and Debra Pascali-Bonaro’s film, Orgasmic Birth: The Best Kept Secret. It became more clear to me, the powerful connection between birth, sensuality, love, and pleasure. This inspired me to share a different vision of birth: one that moves beyond fear and centers trust, connection, choice, and the body's innate wisdom. At Yes Doula, I believe every woman deserves to feel informed, supported, and empowered to make choices that reflect her needs and desires. Whether you are preparing for an unmedicated birth, a VBAC, an epidural-supported birth, or simply seeking a more connected and conscious birth experience, I am here to support you without judgment. I offer personalized in-person and virtual birth and postpartum support, meeting families where they are and providing care that fits their needs. From prenatal preparation and continuous labor support to newborn care guidance and the adjustment to life after birth, my goal is to help you feel supported throughout your journey. I also believe that partners deserve to be informed, included, and empowered. Through education, birth preparation, and partner support, I help families approach birth as a shared experience. How I Can Support You Birth Doula Support: ~Prenatal education, birth preparation, and personalized birth planning ~Emotional, physical, and informational support throughout labor and birth ~Comfort measures, breathing, movement, positioning, and relaxation techniques ~Support navigating your options and communicating your preferences ~Partner preparation and guidance Postpartum Doula Support: ~Emotional support and space to process your birth experience ~Newborn care guidance, including soothing, sleep, and daily rhythms ~Feeding support for breastfeeding, pumping, and bottle-feeding ~Practical, hands-on help as you settle into life with your baby ~Light household assistance related to baby care ~Support for partners and siblings as your family adjusts ~Help creating a calm, nurturing environment that encourages rest and recovery As a wife, mother of three, and lifelong caregiver, I understand that every birth and every family is unique. Hello, my name is Stella! I am eager to support you throughout your reproductive journey, from early planning to postpartum. My main role as a doula and educator is to provide you and your family unit with evidence-based information, guide you to make intuitive decisions, provide your physical body with healing touch and pain-relieving techniques, and support the co-regulation of your nervous system through listening, breathwork, continuity of care, and tenderness during any phase of your reproductive journey. I am originally from Bellingham, Washington and now live in Los Angeles, California. I have a strong belief that birthing people deserve the care, information, and support they desire. I am passionate and fierce about this work, while providing much needed humor and levity. I am committed to assisting you in getting the resources you need, whether that be working with me or providing sufficient referrals. As a queer person, I am eager to support queer, trans, and gender non-conforming families through their pregnancy, birthing, and postpartum journies. Some things I like are writing poetry and reading books, going outside and laying in the sun like a lizard, trying a new craft, listening to Britney Spears, baking something and putting cardamom in it, learning about ecology and religious philosophies, making lists, going to estate sales, being kind to strangers, and looking at the stars when camping.

HI I’m Vanessa, Bronx-born, now based in WA, and I’m passionate about supporting, educating, and empowering families through one of the most important moments of their lives: birth. As an Afro-Latina birth doula and spiritual healer, I believe birth deserves to be treated with care, respect, advocacy, and real support; not fear or pressure. I completed my Birth Doula Workshop Training through the Simkin Center at Bastyr University in July 2023, where I gained the hands-on training and knowledge to support families through pregnancy, labor, birth, and postpartum care. My approach is equal parts nurturing and no-nonsense. I’m here to make sure you feel informed, supported, and heard every step of the way. Whether that means helping you navigate the hospital system, offering emotional support during labor, providing comfort measures, or simply reminding you that your voice matters. I’m in your corner. Always. I believe birth is sacred, powerful, and deeply personal. Every parent deserves to feel safe, respected, and empowered while bringing life into this world. My role is to hold space for you, advocate for you when needed, and help you move through this experience with confidence, strength, and peace of mind. At the end of the day, I bring both heart and real-life energy into this work. I’m not just here to “look supportive” in the background. I’m here to support you for real. We’re going to get through this together.

Greetings, I'm Franchesca, a devoted caregiver with a heart as big as the ocean and a passion for making a positive difference in the lives of others. I raise three amazing young men and two beautiful daughters, and caregiving comes naturally to me. I thrive on providing love, support, and guidance to everyone around me. My caregiving experience runs deep. I owned and operated a family group daycare, where I nurtured children, supported their families, and built a trusted home-based program from the ground up. I also served as a supervisor of a group home for adults with disabilities, where I led a care team, advocated for residents, and protected their dignity, independence, and well-being every day. As a member of the National Black Doula Association, I serve my community and empower individuals and families throughout their unique journeys. I am currently working toward certification as a Lactation Counselor because I believe in the transformative power of breastfeeding and in giving new parents informed, compassionate support. With a caring and calm demeanor, I create a nurturing environment where everyone feels valued, heard, and respected. Whether I am lending a helping hand during the postpartum period, offering guidance on breastfeeding and infant care, or providing a listening ear and a shoulder to lean on, I support you every step of the way. When I am away from caring for others, you can find me soaking up the sun at the beach or hitting the dance floor to the rhythm of life. I find joy in simple pleasures and embrace each moment with gratitude and enthusiasm. I'm thrilled to connect with you and begin this journey together. Let's create beautiful moments and meaningful memories as we navigate the joys and challenges of life, hand in hand. Blessings to you and your family.
