Jody's presence, during my deliver, brought such a sense of calm and reassurance. She was kind, accommodating, genuine, and incredibly supportive. One thing I will always remember is how Jody constantly reminded me to come back to my breathing when I would get completely zoned out from the intensity of the contractions. In those moments when the pain felt overwhelming and I found myself losing focus, her gentle reminders helped ground me and bring me back to myself. She knew exactly when to step in and what I needed without ever making me feel pressured. Jody is incredibly knowledgeable, but what makes her truly special is the serene and calm presence she brings into the room. Even during the turbulence and intensity of delivery, she remained steady, reassuring, and composed. Her calm energy was something I could lean on when everything around me felt overwhelming. I absolutely recommend Jody to any family looking for a doula who brings not only knowledge and experience, but also warmth, calm, and genuine heart to her care of not just the mom and baby but the entire family.

I am incredibly grateful to have had Rachel by my side during the birth of my baby girl. From the very beginning, she was so kind, accommodating, and genuine, and she made me feel completely supported and cared for throughout such a deeply personal and transformative experience. What stood out to me most about Rachel is that her care never felt business-minded or transactional. She strongly advocates for women and is truly passionate about her job. She was attentive to my needs, flexible with what I needed in each moment, and always made me feel heard and respected. Her approach is holistic and extends far beyond simply caring for mom and baby — she takes the time to consider the entire family and that personally gave me a great comfort. I feel so fortunate that she was part of such an important chapter in our lives, and I would wholeheartedly recommend her to any family looking for a doula who cares for the whole family with genuine love and intention.

Charlene was an exceptional doula to my family. She helped my husband and I welcome our second child in North Vancouver this summer and I don't know what we would have done without her. She was compassionate, knowledgable, extremely skilled at birthing support, and helped hold us all together during a challenging labour, as well as provided us with all kinds of helpful support before and after the delivery. I can't say enough kind things about her, she thought of all the small things to make the journey easier for us, she comes highly recommended.

Hi, I’m Sage. I’m a doula and the founder of Mommy Meltdown Perinatal Services. I started this work because I noticed the lack of a village when I could have used one the most. My lived experience is why I’m so committed to making sure no one else has to navigate the messy, beautiful reality of parenthood alone. I don’t understand this work just from a book, I’ve been there too. I am a DONA International trained birth doula, hold a COC in group peer support, and am trained in perinatal mental health and anxiety disorders from a non-clinical perspective. I’m here to support your body and your mind through labor and the weeks that follow. When it comes to birth, I’m a calm, steady advocate in your corner. I won't tell you how to birth; I'll be there to make sure you have the evidence-based information you need to make your own choices with confidence and the support you need to see them through. If you think we might be a good fit, I’d love to connect. Let's have a quick chat to get to know each other and talk about how I can best support your unique journey!

Sage was a huge help for us in those first couple weeks of postpartum. Knowing she was watching over our baby girl gave us some much needed sound sleep and her advice during that time was invaluable. She's so easy to talk to and incredibly helpful with getting back on top of our baby laundry and dishes. Highly recommend Sage and her services!

Hey my name is Santaya, I am a Birth doula.I work as a pregnancy coach while also being a personal trainer for delivery. I work with families to help them achieve their goals for birth. This means i meet with patients (and families) twice during pregnancy to go over needs and goals for clients birth plans. During my clients pregnancy i visit them every trimester to do a check up. In these visits i go over what to expect within that trimester and answer any of the patients questions. I also track the pregnancy in a book that i give to the patient after delivery. I offer business hours on call support to my clients. This means i will be available from 9 am-5pm for physical support, emotional support and informational support via text or call. I help assist/coach my clients with delivery at the hospital however long that may be.I don't have to do shift change. I am present during labor till a few hours after.I help support clients that decide on natural birth, epidural or C section. Postpartum clients usually feel they no longer need men after a couple hours. Most times this is natural for the family unit to adjust and adapt to normal everyday life. However, I also offer packages for postpartum newborn aftercare where I can assist with breastfeeding and overnight care of the newborn. My passion in life is the celebration of mothers. Working with women and helping women build their families THIER way. Thank you for taking the time to read this. If you feel you are in need of a doula please reach out. As a new mom, my husband and I didn’t have any family nearby, so I had many questions and felt unsure about what to expect after my pregnancy. Tiffany was a helpful resource before, during, and after the birth. With so many things I didn’t know and no one to guide me, Tiffany stayed with us and was always friendly, dependable and easy to talk to. She offered kind support and helpful advice for all my questions. Our baby also felt very comfortable with her, which made our transition to life with a new baby much easier. We are very thankful for Tiffany’s help as our doula. Having her around at such an important time meant a lot to our family. Even months after the baby was born, she continued to be a caring and dependable presence, and our little one has grown to love her.

Syllona’s warm, patient demeanour was just what we needed as first-time parents. We felt safe, heard, and supported throughout our time with her. She shared plenty of resources with us and was generous with her knowledge and time, providing support tailored to our needs. During labour she jumped in proactively with pain management techniques and provided tangible guidance when considering different medical interventions. Our baby also loved her gentle approach during the postpartum visit. Overall, working with Syllona was so worth it and we look forward to keeping in touch!

Morganna Bimm

Morganna Bimm

I’m a caring, calm, and practical family support provider with a diverse professional background in healthcare, childcare, aquatics, first aid, and community work. I spent 12 years working in healthcare with at-risk youth and older adults, and I’m currently completing my Full Spectrum Doula training through Doula School Canada, including postpartum care. I bring that combination of healthcare experience, safety knowledge, and hands-on family support into the way I care for both parents and children. My approach is very individual. I don’t believe there is one “right” way to parent, recover, feed a baby, build a routine, or support a child. I believe in meeting families where they are, listening before assuming, and helping people feel more confident in their own abilities rather than stepping in and trying to take over or “fix” things. Sometimes support means practical help, sometimes it means information or reassurance, and sometimes it means recognizing that someone is exhausted and needs a meal, a shower, a few uninterrupted hours of sleep, or simply another capable adult in the room. With children, I’m calm, creative, and very hands-on. I encourage age-appropriate independence, I’m patient about mistakes, happy to answer approximately nine million questions, and generally not bothered by a little mud, paint, flour, or chaos along the way. I also have extensive experience supporting neurodivergent children and youth and take an individualized, trauma-informed approach to communication, routines, sensory needs, and emotional regulation. Ultimately, I want the families I support to feel safe, respected, listened to, and more confident — not judged or managed. I bring a lot of professional knowledge into a home, but I never forget that it is your family, your values, and your life. My role is to support you in it.

Joann was such an incredible support to us throughout pregnancy, labour, and postpartum. Our baby is 6 months old now and when I think of his birth, I remember how amazing it was to have Joann there. I had a planned c-section after a very traumatic delivery with my first, so I knew I wanted a doula by my side, but also to support hubby in case he needed it. Throughout pregnancy, Joann was a cheerleader, always there to talk. When our little guy decided he couldn’t wait until his planned c-section date, Joann pivoted and met us as at the hospital as soon as we needed her. She came with her bag of tricks (lol) to help me through labour (a labour I wasn’t anticipating because of the scheduled c-section), which progressed so quickly, and she was so great at ensuring both myself and hubby were supported where and when we needed. She took beautiful pics too and stayed with us until we were settled in our room. The overnight visits were a game changer, too! We love and appreciate Joann, and couldn’t imagine what the experience would have been like without her! I’ve given birth without a doula, and with a doula - having Joann there was the experience any mama deserves when having a baby <3
