Caring for babies and supporting new families has always been a real part of who I am. Before I ever earned certifications, I was already the person everyone trusted with their newborns, toddlers, and the most sensitive moments of early parenting. Becoming a Certified Newborn Care Specialist and Postpartum Doula simply helped me put skill and structure behind something that has always come naturally to me. I understand how overwhelming the newborn stage can feel from the exhaustion, the learning curve, the emotions that come with healing and adjusting and my goal is to bring calm, confidence, and comfort into a family’s home. I take my time learning each baby’s unique cues and each mother’s individual needs so I can support both in a gentle, respectful, and compassionate way. i believe every family deserves to feel supported, every baby deserves to feel safe, and every mother deserves to be cared for during one of the most important transitions of her life. I believe in nurturing the whole family, not just the newborn, by creating peaceful routines, offering evidence based guidance, and providing help that feels loving rather than intrusive. Whether I’m assisting with nighttime care, helping a mom rest and recover, supporting feeding goals, or creating a comfortable rhythm in the home, I show up with patience, kindness, and understanding. My intention is always the same to make those early days feel lighter, to help parents feel more confident, and to leave families feeling stronger than when I arrived.

Jessica's care went far beyond simply watching our son overnight. During every shift, she closely monitored him while also helping around the house washing bottles, doing his laundry, tidying up, and keeping everything running smoothly. She continuously educated herself on the latest infant sleep practices and shared that knowledge with us, adapting her care as our son grew and his needs changed. She didn't just care for our baby; she taught and supported us as parents. Jessica also brought so much genuine love and thoughtfulness to her work. She celebrated milestones with us, bought thoughtful gifts for our son, and truly cared about him as if he were her own family. Her warmth and generosity were evident in everything she did.

I had a great experience with Dana as my doula. We didn't meet until the end of my third trimester because I decided I needed a doula at the last minute. Dana listened to all my concerns about the care I received, and even attended one of my last OB appointments. I felt that she was well informed about pregnancy and labor. I enjoyed going over my birth plan with Dana because she explained everything line by line. I went into labor prematurely at 36 weeks and Dana didn't panic. She came to the delivery room and I feel like everything moved fast. She set up music like I wanted, dimmed the lights, and helped my husband with positions. I was able to have a vaginal birth with no epidural like I wanted. This meant so much to me because the specialist I was seeing told me I would have to be induced and have a c-section. Dana made me feel supported and helped me feel calm during labor. I was able to make informed decisions about my care and not feel anxious going into labor. Even after the delivery, Dana got food for me and my husband and checked on us until we all went home. Our post-partum visit at home went well and Dana was able to get my baby to latch. I had a positive experience for my first birth, and I would recommend Dana to anyone looking for a doula.

Hello! So great to meet you, I'm Max! I am a LGBT/ Queer affirming birth doula who brings a unique perspective to the pregnancy and laboring experience. My background in body work and physical therapy gives me a distinctive understanding of how to apply my skills as a doula to physiological birth. My calming presence is reassuring to those I'm supporting, and their families. I am passionate about empowering all pregnant and birthing people. My strength is my adaptability; which allows me to support families in their choices. I am a parent to my 13year old clone, who I birthed at home. I run a suburban goat farm and have two giant fur babies that try to steal my bed. (Great Danes named Freyja and Kuma). I enjoy dad jokes, puns, and free books. I identify as a transmasc, nonbinary human. I use they/he pronouns.

Max is the best. I have very complicated pregnancies and work in ob so max understands my stress levels and always put me at ease through out. Our family worked with max during my second pregnancy which was debatably the worst, and my third. Max always had a plan for our sessions and understood how crappy things were for a mom with hg. When it came to my labor all the prep work I did with him absolutely paid off. During these pregnancies I felt more skilled because max. He helped me remain present, create realistic goals, and take care of myself which can be so difficult. I truely trust the work he does and feel that he is such a valuable member of my birth team. Doulas are a blessing.

Zaira was such a blessing to our family. My husband and I tell everyone she was worth every penny and more. She gave us so much confidence going into the delivery of our son and we never felt alone. She went above and beyond during the entire team process and even still checks in on our son. The first time we met Zaira she drove all the way to our house (a long drive for her) and before she did anything else she prayed with us in our living room. We knew from that point on she was who we would choose as our doula. She was not only there for me and my questions, she gave assurance to my husband as well and equipped him to be the best partner throughout our delivery. From prenatal visits, to random texts, delivery, and even postpartum Zaira looked after our every need. I highly recommend her to anyone looking.

Let’s create a nurturing space where your voice is honored, your choices respected, and your body is supported in doing what it was made to do. I would be honored to walk beside you as your little one makes their way into this world. Let’s bloom through birth & postpartum—together.

We had the pleasure of having Taylor as our Doula for our first born! Taylor was both supportive & provided essential childbirth education prior to my wife being in labor. This helped us know what to expect & what red flags to look out for. During labor, we truly do not know how we would’ve done it with out her. When labor began to intensify she stepped into action to make sure my wife was as comfortable as possible through different stretches, massages, and comforting words. Over the past few months Taylor was more than a doula, she truly felt as part of the family and felt like a critical part of our birthing team at the hospital. I couldn’t recommend her more and we plan on using her for all our future births!

Debbie Thomas of Guiding Hands Birth Services was an incredible source of peace and guidance throughout our first birth journey. As first-time parents, we had so many questions and hopes for a low-intervention birth. Debbie provided a thoughtful guide we frequently turned to, and her late-night and early morning support allowed us to ask questions without any judgment. During my long 35-hour labor, Debbie remained a calming and steady presence, even when complications led to a C-section. Afterward, my husband reflected on the moments where I was so scared and weak, she was able to give support he didn’t know to give ‘That’s exactly why we decided to hire Debbie… she was worth every penny.’ She has such a heart for serving others, and we are deeply grateful. If you are in The Woodlands or surrounding area, Debbie Thomas is exactly who you want by your side… she will guide you with compassion, knowledge, and unwavering support.

Highly Recommend Thalia – An Amazing Birth Doula! I had the absolute privilege of having Thalia as my birth doula, and I cannot recommend her enough! My name is Laporcha Foster most people call me LaLa. I am from Houston, Texas and I am a mother to 4 beautiful souls (3 girls and 1 boy). I am a traveling birth/postpartum doula who is also an end of life doula (helping others transition over to the after life). I became a doula after realizing nursing school wasn’t for me. I wanted to be a L&D nurse then a Nurse Practitioner so I could deliver babies. One day I was talking to my spiritual coach who told me my ancestors told her I was a medicine healing lady, and my life purpose was to be a midwife. I never thought to be one even though I heard so many people talked about having midwives and doula when I was pregnant with my son. I decided to do some research and I fell in love with the results and became a certified trained birth/postpartum doula through Madriella Doula Network. Being other women and families support system is my top priority. Rather it’s in a home, birthing center, or hospital I’m there! I am now attending a midwifery program at Midwives College of Utah (MCU) and trusting the process of this new journey. I look forward to meeting with you and vibing off good and positive energy. Peace and blessings!

Having Ms.Foster as my doula was truly life changing and amazing. She became my sister overnight literally; she came in with so much love, kindness and joy for what she's set out to do. Her light coming in helped me TRULY calm down and start enjoying my pregnancy experience. I truly recommend any and everyone to definitely have Ms. Foster for their doula.
