Recent review

Debora helped us overnight for over two months, and we couldn’t be more thankful for her support. She was very caring and nurturing to our daughter. Also, being first time parents, she gave us a lot of insight and knowledge along the way. I especially appreciated that Debora constantly checked in with us to understand if we wanted to change anything in the routine or have her do something differently. We tracked details and sleep time in an app. Debora was great at tracking everything that happened overnight and would provide a short recap for us in the morning. She also reviewed the details we put in before arriving so she knew how baby girl was doing that day. There are many more small and big actions she took to make the experience positive.

Meet Kamilla Kamilla is a Full Spectrum Doula through Cornerstone Birthwork Training, as well as a Newborn Care Specialist (NCS) trained through Newborn Care Solutions. With over 5 years of international experience, she is passionate about providing compassionate, knowledgeable, and individualized support to families during the postpartum and newborn period. Born and raised in Brazil in a large, loving family, Kamilla grew up surrounded by caregiving. Inspired by her grandmother, a traditional midwife, she developed a deep connection to newborn care, maternal support, and nurturing practices from an early age. Her passion for postpartum care became even more personal after supporting her own mother through postpartum depression. This experience gave her a deeper understanding of how vulnerable, emotional, and overwhelming the postpartum transition can be. Through her professional experience, she has also supported families navigating baby blues and postpartum depression, always providing compassionate, nonjudgmental support while recognizing when additional professional care may be needed. Kamilla has additional training in Montessori Education, Sleep Training through Summer Secret, and Early Childhood Development. She is currently continuing her education in Breastfeeding Education through CAPPA and pursuing her nursing education to further expand her knowledge of maternal and newborn care. With a background in law and extensive hands-on experience caring for newborns and supporting families, Kamilla brings together professional education, practical experience, and genuine compassion. She understands that postpartum is not always the beautiful, effortless experience portrayed online. It can be exhausting, emotional, unpredictable, and overwhelming. Her goal is to create a calm and supportive environment where parents can rest, recover, bond with their baby, and feel confident in their new role. Kamilla provides individualized support based on each family’s unique needs, with a focus on newborn care, postpartum recovery, sleep support, feeding support, and the emotional well-being of the family. Her philosophy is simple: When we care for the mother, we care for the entire family.

Our Journey with Olivia started when I discovered that I was already almost 3 months pregnant. In fact before I was present at my niece’s birth when my sister also gave birth at home and Olivia was her midwife. Since then, I knew that when I got pregnant I would want her as my midwife. Of course this is a decision to be made as a couple so when I spoke with my husband he was quite apprehensive as we were in the most difficult financial phase of our lives and we could do it for free through the national health system. He told me “ My love, with that money we can feed many poor people and God will be more pleased with us, but you decide” to which I replied “But the pregnancy and birth are very important for the future of our baby and can affect him so much” so we decided to choose Olivia and giving birth at home. It was definitely the best decision. The only decision. Olivia took care of us from every corner that we didn’t even know existed. She gave us so much information and all through natural means. She is very down to earth at the same time. We followed all her advice and we understood all the science involved and I can tell you that the results where amazing. I was hearing and seeing my pregnant friends suffering and with bloated feet etc. I had the best pregnancy ever, no bloated feet, not exhausted, full of energy eating very well and the results were a very healthy son. My birth was not easy at all because of my body structure and my son had his head in the wrong position. It took 14 hours and most of it was in the expulsion part. I can tell you if I was in a Hospital I am sure they would have done a C-section. She advised us at every step in a very smooth and organic way with all the science involved explained and with simple daily steps. And she gave us all her love. On the birth day she involved the family and created the best environment for this very special day. The most difficult and the best day of our lives. I had my husband and my mother always around, and she explained them how to do this special massage to relieve the pain and special smoothies etc. I can’t explain all the magic but in such a difficult moment she makes the best environment happen. After the baby borns she is there for you to assist you in every detail, teach you and make you feel confident and happy without fears (there are so many new parents full of fears and even many arrive to not be able to breastfeed, and simply because they didn’t have this assistance). My husband, one week after the birth, said to me “you know, if we had more money I would pay Olivia much more because really, she is more than great, you were right!” I had amazing recovery after the birth because I followed all her advice and of course my family support. But truly her knowledge is amazing. She has more than 3000 births experience in very different conditions even in African countries with very poor conditions. And I think that that experience and her BIG heart made her a really amazing midwife and friend. I wish I had more words to describe better. Until today years later I ask her questions when my son is sick or I have any doubt, and always I get a complete response of someone who really cares. I hope she trains more people to be like her because this world really needs it. I had a very good friend giving birth some days before me in the hospital. She got no explanations what so ever and when she went home she and her baby were sick. So I advise her to consult Olivia which she did and then she called me and said “sister thank you so much really, Olivia saved us, she is amazing”. We are not aware but there are many diseases and conditions that a baby can get just because of the birth or the pregnancy, especially breathing problems ( like I have) and we can avoid it just having the right knowledge and help on our side. And Olivia, apart from being a good friend, she has that knowledge and gives that help. I know she is not in my country at the moment but I told her when I get pregnant again (soon inshallah) she must come or I will go to her because I don’t want anyone else but her as our midwife. I am sure God will reward her for her great heart and amazing “work”. Thank you Olivia. We love you.

We feel incredibly lucky to have had Leticia as our night doula during these first weeks with our newborn. Looking back, I honestly don’t know how we would have gotten through this postpartum journey without her. What really sets Leticia apart is how much she genuinely cares about our baby and our family. We can tell that she takes care of our baby with so much patience, gentleness, and love. She is attentive to his needs and treats him with warmth, care, and professional knowledge. It feels like our baby can always calm down immediately in Leticia’s hands. Knowing that our baby was in such good hands allowed us to truly relax when Leticia was here at night. That peace of mind is something we cannot put a price on. She is incredibly knowledgeable, professional, calm, reliable, and dependable. Her communication is also exceptional. She is clear and precise, but never cold or clinical. We always felt completely comfortable asking her questions, no matter how small or repetitive they might have seemed. We really appreciate how approachable and generous Leticia has been with her guidance and how willing she is to answer all of our questions. We are so grateful for everything she has done for us and for our baby. Leticia is truly outstanding at what she does, and I cannot recommend her enough. Any new parent would be incredibly fortunate to have her supporting them through those precious, exhausting, and sometimes difficult first weeks with a newborn.

I was so nervous about hiring a night nanny, especially with our 7 week old, but Monique immediately made me feel comfortable and gave me complete peace of mind that I could trust her with our baby. She is incredibly attentive and thorough, providing a detailed report of every feeding, pee, poop, and anything else that happened throughout the night, while also making sure our baby was comfortable, happy, and well cared for. As a CACHE-Certified Newborn Care Specialist, Certified Postpartum Doula, and Sleep Consultant with over 10 years of childcare experience, I provide knowledgeable, compassionate support to families as they navigate the newborn and postpartum period. My experience with children began in 2015 through volunteer work in Brazil, where I cared for children in orphanages, pediatric cancer hospitals, and low-income daycare centers. After moving to the United States in 2016, I built my professional career primarily around newborn and infant care. In 2022, I completed my Newborn Care Specialist training and have continued to expand my education in newborn care, postpartum support, and infant sleep. Over the years, I have supported families with overnight newborn care, feeding, age-appropriate routines, healthy sleep foundations, and the transition home with a new baby. My experience also includes caring for premature newborns and twins. I understand how vulnerable and overwhelming the early weeks with a newborn can feel, especially while parents are recovering and adjusting to an entirely new rhythm at home. My role is to bring a calm, capable presence into that space. Whether I am caring for a baby overnight so parents can get much-needed rest, helping establish a sustainable routine, or simply providing reassurance and guidance, I tailor my support to the needs of each individual family. I believe excellent newborn care is never one-size-fits-all. I take the time to understand each family’s preferences, parenting philosophy, and goals while providing thoughtful, evidence-based guidance and attentive care for their baby. Families can expect me to be dependable, discreet, organized, and genuinely invested in making the postpartum experience feel more manageable and supported. I am also certified in Pediatric CPR, AED, and First Aid and remain committed to continuing education and staying current with best practices in newborn and postpartum care. When I found out I was expecting, I felt a mix of excitement and anxiety. I knew I wanted support during my pregnancy and birth, but I wasn’t entirely sure what that would look like. After some research, I decided to hire a doula, and it turned out to be one of the best decisions I made. From our first meeting, my doula was a calming presence. She not only helped me prepare emotionally for labor, but also educated me about my options, answered all my questions, and helped me feel more confident in my choices. During labor, she was a steady source of support, guiding me in each choice . Having a doula made my birth experience so much easier and lovely . I felt respected. Thank you for everything ??

Vania is an exceptional doula! She is gentle, loving, understanding, and kind. She worked with us as a team, along with our other night doula, to come up with a plan and make sure our twins would be happy, healthy, and able to sleep through the night by the time she left us. Her communication was wonderful and she provided many additional tips beyond night support, such as products to buy and exercises to do with the babies. We loved our time having her in our home and are so grateful for the skills and tools she worked with the babies on that will continue to help them as they grow!

Recent review

Katia has been my postpartum doula and caregiver for my baby boy since February 2025. She consistently takes initiative in ways that truly lighten my load as a new mom. One moment that stands out was when she noticed I was juggling baby care and chores—without me even asking, she washed the baby's clothes and bedsheets, took out the trash, and even helped cut vegetables for dinner. She always notices what needs to be done and jumps in with such care and thoughtfulness—it’s clear she’s not just doing a job, but genuinely wants to support and nurture. This was my first baby, and I had never used a doula service before, so I was initially skeptical and a bit anxious about having someone new in our home during such a vulnerable and emotional time. But from the very beginning, Katia made me feel at ease. Although she has extensive experience with babies, she remains open and flexible—listening carefully to my needs and respecting our preferences. She remembered all the little things I mentioned and adapted her care accordingly. Even now, with my baby being 8 months old, I still turn to Katia when I need someone trustworthy to watch him for a few hours. That’s how much confidence and comfort she’s brought to our family. Both my husband and I are deeply grateful for her help—having Katia as our doula has been such a positive and reassuring experience. She made a lasting impact on our early journey as parents, and any family would be incredibly lucky to have her by their side.
