Kimberly Onile

Hi! I'm Kim, your local midwife. The story of how I came to be here in Utah, serving women through pregnancy and birth is an interesting one. My education consists of a Bachelor of Art in Sociology with an Emphasis in Ethnic Studies, a Juris Doctorate with Emphasis in Criminal Law, and Certification as a Professional Midwife. My calling has always been to serve people in a humble, practical and pragmatic way. Creating positive change in people' s lives in the most efficient way possible. Over the years, this guiding principle has taken me on many adventures through different areas of life, different communities, and around the world. I grew up the child of two Air Force parents (Lawrence Hardeman and Cynthia Wright), traveling back and forth to Japan over my early years and around the US as I got older. During my settled years, I lived in Kansas City, Missouri. Unbeknownst to me, a distant ancestor of mine was one of the first to settle that area before Missouri was even a state. Peter Hardeman Burnett, a lawyer who defended Joseph Smith while detained in the Liberty Jail, adventurer who led 1000 pioneers on the Oregon Trail, and eventually became the first governor of California. During my college years I became a mother for the first time and with the help of a fantastic nurse midwife I endured 19 hours of pitocin induction with no epidural. I was so young and naive at the time I didn't understand the true blessing she was in my life. That revelation hit me during my second birth, where a midwife wasn't available. That was the hardest pregnancy, the most life threatening delivery, and the most depressing postpartum experience of them all. I waited five years before deciding I was ready for another and this time I studied, I scoured my city for resources, and I found another amazing midwife. That birth was magical. I created an experience with the support of my midwife, my husband, my mother and mother in law that healed every traumatized part of my soul. My fourth birth was even better because I had a home birth midwife that time who helped me feel empowered and confident beyond what I had achieved in my prior pregnancies. This is when I decided that a law degree is nice, but midwifery lights my FIRE! I started my training soon after my son's birth and haven't looked back since. Beginning a career as a midwife during the height of a worldwide pandemic, when hospitals prioritized control over freedom in birth, was truly a gauntlet. Women sought out of hospital birth for the first time, fueled by fear and anxiety. I learned to meet women where they were at and move them into a space of peace, calm, and confidence in their bodies and their babies. In that space, my midwife mind was developed. I served hundreds of families in Missouri and Kansas, some families as far as 3 hours from my home because no midwife would travel to them. I gladly chose to drive hours round trip for home visits and births, because on those long drives through the Kansas plains, I was able to lay down prayers with every mile. Asking God, "Where do you want me? How do I get there? When should I go?" Like my ancestor, Peter Hardeman Burnett, the answer was "Go West, to the mountains". Full of faith, I began winding down my Kansas City practice and made plans to move to Utah. I married my spouse under the aspen trees at the foot of the mountains in Rotary Glen Park in Park City, UT and began building a life here. Now, I find myself rooted in the same valley as you all, with open arms and an open heart, ready to serve the families that are sent my way.

Kim has provided nothing but the best care throughout my entire pregnancy and after for my little boy and I! I have felt honored and valued- nothing less! She is markedly professional, yet empathic and open with personal anecdotes when asked. While passionately supportive of your goals and values, she openly explains the full spectrum of each topic to empower your best decisions- ultimately respectful and supportive of your final decision. I love how Kim is so knowledgable about natural ways to address comfort/concerns and willing to try these before moving onto medical interventions. I was continually impressed by her ability to recommend several natural remedies to try when I mentioned anything under the sun! Not only that, but why they work and their benefits/risks. Her philosophy and passion about midwifery is evident. Im so grateful for her role in my natural childbirth and hope to have her again for a homebirth with our next child! Thank you ♡

Sheali Forsyth

Sheali Forsyth

Sheali’s journey into midwifery began at the age of sixteen when her mother gave birth to her youngest brother at home. While attending her mom’s prenatal appointments she became fascinated by the personalized care a home birth midwife offered. Hearing her brother’s heartbeat and seeing ultrasounds connected her to pregnancy and birth in a way that absolutely mesmerized her. The experience left a lasting impression and from that moment on, she knew she wanted to become a midwife, and help families experience the same sense of love and empowerment. Sheali’s advice to her patients: You have to find your own way. There will be lots of voices telling you what to do. Birth is a trial run for parenthood, it includes setting boundaries and deciding what you want for yourself and your family. If you don’t feel safe in a hospital, have your baby at home. If you only feel safe in a hospital, that’s where birth will be best for you. A stressed mom makes for a difficult birth… Find an environment and team that puts you at ease and you’ll be setting yourself up for a positive experience! Sheali is currently working with a group of midwives. Clients get the benefit of Sheali's primary care, but the additional support of two additional midwives at the birth. This collaborative approach provides the families she serves with the personalized, relationship-focused care they deserve while also benefiting from the wisdom, and clinical insight that comes from the group's years of hands-on experience.

Sheali was amazing support at the birth of our son. We had some unexpected complications, resulting in an emergency c-section and she was instrumental in keeping the environment calm for us as she reassured us and advocated for us, helping us make last minute but informed decisions. She has a very calm presence, was very positive, and helpful on our preparation leading up to our birth. She made us feel confident with our birth plan and prepared us for different situations that could come up. Complications notwithstanding, we have incredibly positive feelings towards our birth experience and so much of that has to do with having Sheali there. We’d recommend her to anyone wanting to be informed and empowered in preparation for and during their labor and delivery experience!

Savanah Easter

Hi! We're Savanah and Sheryl, the Neighborhood Midwives. We've been working together in the birth world for the past four years and recently chose to focus exclusively on home birth. This shift allows us to slow down, be more present with the families we serve, and find a better balance in our own lives too. We believe true health starts from within. Our approach blends lifestyle support, movement, and herbal medicine—while also embracing modern medicine when it’s needed. If you're hoping for a calm, familiar, and intimate experience during your pregnancy, birth, and postpartum journey, we’d love to connect and answer any questions you have.

I had Savanah and Sheryl as my midwives for my first birth - I approached my pregnancy and delivery in a holistic way and they were both so helpful, their bedside manner was truly exceptional and so thoughtful every appointment, and most of all - they were truly THERE for me during my delivery. It was a long labor and they brought me such a sense of peace every time they walked in the room. They both had a way of meeting me where I was at with every question and emotion that came up. I always felt respected and genuinely cared for with both of them - never as an inconvenience, they never made me feel small with my questions or lack of experience. They gave me great lactation support and resources for breastfeeding as well, which was HUGE for me. I can’t wait to work with them again in the future.

Hello! My name is Lindsay. I'm a certified birth and traditional postpartum doula in Utah County and have been supporting families since 2017. I believe pregnancy, birth, and new parenthood are physical events, and also deeply emotional and spiritual ones—a great becoming. Because of this, my work is mother-centered, and blanketed in ritual and ceremony. You deserve to be held and witnessed. When I'm not working with postpartum families, you'll find me spending time with my three children, dreaming about traveling the world, and singing and knitting with my community.

We’ve been lucky to have Lindsay as our birth doula for all three of our kids, and most recently as a postpartum doula. I had a hard time understanding why I’d want a postpartum doula with my first two births, but I’m SO glad I went for it this time around! Having Lindsay come over was a highlight of those first few weeks. She came with her arms full of food, teas, cozy cushions, sound bath instruments, etc. Each week she’d bring food that I picked from the menu (all of it was so delicious and nourishing), and would guide me thru whatever session I had chosen (sound bath, gentle movement/stretching, guided meditation, closing of the bones ceremony). She has a very calming energy about her and I just feel at peace when she’s around. She helped around the house while she was here like washing the dishes, sorting and folding laundry, things that pile up in the busy-ness of having a newborn. She is truly a delight to work with and I’m forever grateful that she was here for us during the most important events of our lives.

NPI verified

Hi, I’m Evie Belnap! I’m a certified birth doula who is passionate about helping women feel confident, cared for, and empowered throughout their birth experience. With a background in Exercise Science at Brigham Young University, I have a special interest in supporting women through exercise, breathing, and understanding their body better during pregnancy and labor. I love making birth preparation feel approachable and encouraging, while helping each mom discover what works best for her body and baby. Most importantly, I’m a friendly and compassionate person who genuinely loves being there for people. I bring a calm, grounded presence to the birth space. I believe that sometimes the most meaningful support is simply having someone steady beside you to witness your strength in pregnancy. Every birth is different, and I’m here to meet you where you are, support your choices, and help you feel prepared and confident as you welcome your baby into the world. In my free time, I enjoy adventuring in the great outdoors with my husband, painting, playing volleyball, mountain biking and traveling the world. I would be honored to be part of your birth story!

I will be forever grateful to Evie! She was there for my daughter at the birth of my granddaughter, when I was unable to make it. She was able to give the instructions that my daughter wanted to the nurses and doctor, and made my daughter feel comfortable. I didn't think my daughter needed a doula because I was going to be there for her, but in the end I'm so glad we did, because she saved the day! Would definitely recommend Evie!

We hired Esther as a night nanny for the 2 1/2 months after giving birth. She is an ANGEL! Truly I can’t say enough how not only her services saved my sanity and family postpartum, but who she is as an individual is incredible. I consider myself a pretty capable person, but no matter who you are, postpartum is hard. Esther not only took care of the baby at night so I could sleep, she also helped with my 3 year old, taught me best practices to help the baby sleep better, prepped meals, tidied the house, listened to me when I had a hard day, and made me laugh. Esther was a godsend for our family and I’m so so grateful for her. I can’t recommend her enough. Her expertise and personality were exactly what we needed. Without Esther: - Sleeping in 1-2 hour chunks - Untidy house - No bandwidth to be present with my toddler during the day - Grumpy from sleep deprivation With Esther: - Sleeping 7+ hours a night - Laundry folded, dishes done, floors clean - Adventures with my toddler and baby during the day because I had energy - Happy because I had slept the night before There’s so much more I could add to this list. If you’re considering hiring Esther, do it.

Where do I begin? Kaytalyn is more than amazing. She started as my doula and quickly became my friend, support system, cheer leader, and advocate as well. She is always so quick to respond with any question or concern, addressing any fears you have and working through them (while being a shoulder to cry on) and celebrating every win along the way. I love everything about her!! My husband and I attribute both of our beautiful births- first in hospital and second in home, to Kaytalyn’s incredible guidance and help. We love her and I highly recommend her to any woman I find out is expecting!

Choosing Whitney as our doula was the best decision we could have ever made. It was so special to work with her in preparation for my second birth! She helped me see pregnancy and birth in a new, magical light that has changed my life forever! I have never felt more loved or cared for before, during, and after birth. I am forever grateful that she was on my birth team and even more grateful to have gained a friend for life!
