This holistic approach extends beyond birth and into everyday support throughout pregnancy and the postpartum period. Postpartum care at Love How You Heal centers on rest, recovery, and emotional well-being. Services include daytime and overnight newborn care, lactation guidance and education, newborn care assistance, emotional check-ins, and nervous system support. As part of our postpartum offerings, mothers may also receive complimentary relaxation-focused therapies such as back, leg, and foot massage to reduce tension, support healing, and promote restoration after birth. I have had the honor of supporting diverse families, including first-time parents, growing families, single parents, and families from a wide range of cultural backgrounds. My approach is inclusive, trauma-informed, and affirming, always personalized to each family’s values, needs, and birth preferences. Hey there! I’m Cadence Busch — a Christian Birth Doula, Childbirth Educator, and Student Midwife serving families in the DFW and surrounding areas. My name is Jordan Towns and I have served the role as an Emotional Support Coach/Companion for over two decades to women and men encountering a full range of life encounters. It was in Spring 2023 that my journey to become a Doula was initiated and what a journey indeed it has been. Marked by my strong ancestral roots and divine gifting coupled with an experience that allowed me to grow deeper in tune with my body as a woman and what it means to be empowered and supported in my connection to it, I moved to become a Birth Doula and completed my formal training with Doulas of North America International in the “Art of Labor Support.” Now I have the honor of providing continuous, culturally appropriate support, non-medical advice, and physical comfort coaching to women and their partners during pregnancy, the birth ceremony, and the adjustment period after. It is this support that is critical to counter systemic medical racism and socioeconomic barriers that families face. Traci Santangelo MSN APRN CNM: Originally from Fort Worth, Texas, I received my Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Texas Woman’s University and started my career working in a local Labor & Delivery Unit. I then married a Yankee (don’t hold it against me), and he moved me to Detroit, Michigan, then to Miami, Florida, and finally to Chicago, Illinois—all for his exciting career. It was at the University of Illinois at Chicago that I received my Master’s in Nursing with a Midwifery designation and developed a deep desire to move back to the Lone Star State. I was tired of being cold! During that time away, I had two children (who have my heart completely), worked in some incredible hospitals as a Labor Nurse, and really developed a desire to serve women. Birth has always been my passion. I love every part of it! From the first positive pregnancy test, to watching a mother hear her baby’s heartbeat for the first time, to hearing that same baby cry at birth—I find all of it exciting and am in constant awe of how perfectly we are made to carry and birth a baby. I am a complete geek when it comes to the physiology of human development and can’t help but talk about developmental milestones because they are fascinating. Why wouldn’t you want to know everything about your baby?! I never tire of it. And I never tire of a woman’s need to feel validated, heard, and respected. She moved to Texas to pursue her Biology degree at the University of Dallas, where she also played volleyball. She received her BSN from Texas Woman’s University and worked in Labor & Delivery at Parkland before getting her Master’s in Nursing from Texas Tech University and becoming a CNM. She is married to her wonderful husband, Logan, and they have two daughters, Julie and Helen. Theresa has had the privilege of previously working in a NaProTechnology office, where she gained valuable insights into the remarkable benefits of Fertility Awareness-Based Methods (FABMs) for so many women. Through her experience, she has seen how these methods empower women to understand and manage their reproductive health. At BirthPointe, Theresa is dedicated to continuing her mission of educating others about FABMs, promoting awareness, and supporting women in making informed choices about their fertility.

Prinscilla Moore CPD CLE CNPE, is the founder of Delighted to Doula Birth Services. For as long as she can remember, supporting and educating families has been her passion. Prinscilla believes all families should be properly educated and equipped with the knowledge and tools they need in preparation for postpartum and infant care. Prinscilla is a wife, mother of four beautiful girls, and a grandmother. Prinscilla decided to pursue her passion professionally by becoming a doula. Prinscilla completed doula training for birth, postpartum, lactation education, and new parent education through Childbirth and Postpartum Professional Association (“CAPPA”). Since 2012, Prinscilla has been servicing families in Michigan, California, and now Texas. In 2015, she became a Certified Health Connect One community-based breastfeeding peer counselor and was handpicked to be a doula trainer and Advisory Board member for the Black Mothers Breastfeeding Association in Detroit, Michigan. I spent the first few years of life in a household with my maternal grandmother, learning first hand what it means to care for and nurture a woman. For over 15 years, I have been working with women, as they journey through what it takes to become pregnant, sustain pregnancy, care for a new life and grieve through pregnancy or infant loss.
