Hello! My name is Saskia, and I am so excited to be a part of your pregnancy/postpartum journey! I have been a Registered Nurse for five years working in Postpartum and Labor units across America. My experience with high-risk mothers & newborns has helped me see just how special the birthing experience is. Seeing couples turn into a family for the first time, or seeing siblings introduced to their new brother/sister warms my heart to no end. It’s an amazing feeling to know that a new bundle of joy has entered the world and that I had the opportunity to be a part of it! While my years working in the hospital provided great learning experiences, I realized that my passion lies with mothers and newborns in their home environment. I decided to complete my training as a Certified Postpartum Doula, and have been able to support families with lactation support, early sleep training, soothing techniques, feeding schedules and all that postpartum brings for the last two years. Hi I'm Kyndal!My path into postpartum care began in 2017 as a nanny for families with newborns. I had the privilege of growing alongside many families during their baby's first year of life, most of them first-time parents. While I loved caring for newborns, I quickly realized my true passion was educating and supporting parents as they transitioned from the hospital to home. Over the years, I have had the opportunity to work with a wide variety of families, including those welcoming premature babies, growing their families through adoption or surrogacy, and, most recently, caring for twins and multiples, a specialty that has become one of my most recent favorites. In 2021, I completed my training through Newborn Care Solutions to become a Newborn Care Specialist, allowing me to deepen my knowledge and provide even more comprehensive support to families. Then, in 2024, while working with a family on newborn sleep, I was given the opportunity to pursue my certification as a Postpartum Doula. After becoming certified, I retired from full-time nannying to dedicate my career exclusively to overnight postpartum care. My career and entrepreneurial journey have uniquely positioned me to support families beyond the traditional six-week postpartum period. Rather than offering short-term care, I work with families for 16 to 21 weeks. This extended support allows us to establish healthy newborn sleep habits from the very beginning while giving parents a trusted newborn guide they can rely on during one of the biggest transitions of their lives. From the perspective of a mother, I have recognized the importance of the parent's mental and physical well-being. As a result, I have recently completed postpartum doula and lactation consultant training. While preparing for the international lactation examination, I continue to serve in each of these areas and feel passionate about supporting families transitioning from neonatal intensive care (NICU) to home. The exhaustion and emotional and physical trauma of parents at this stage is profound. My training in these areas allows me to weave these skills to support parents and newborns of all levels of need as a single provider. Embracing families from birth through early childhood with ease and compassion is my passion. Hi! I'm Lacey Dowlearn! I am a Birth Boot Camp certified Childbirth Educator and Certified Birth Doula serving Round Rock families. My journey in birth work began in 2007 with the first pregancy in my group of friends. She had mentioned wanting a midwife and I started researching. I had caught the birth bug and was hooked! The idea of women helping women made my heart happy. Over the years, I have had the opportunity to be an apprentice midwife at several freestanding birth centers; labor support for homebirth, birth center and hospital clients in Round Rock and surrounding areas and have recently certified as a CBE and Doula with Birth Boot Camp. I've been married to my partner, Danny, since April 2008. He has supported me through this journey and is a great partner. I am a mom to two beautiful little girls, Annie and Jane. Both of my births took place in my home accompanied by a midwife, my very first midwifery preceptor. I breastfed both of my babies for 2 years, tandem for 6 months. That was such a wonderful and bonding experience. I want to provide the best care to each mother who trusts me with her birth experience, whether that be in hospital or at home. I believe that having a positive birth experience is the right of every woman. I will strive to help each mother and baby have a special delivery.
