The cost of a night nanny in Sandy Springs, GA can be influenced by several factors:

  • Experience and Qualifications

Nannies with extensive experience, certifications (e.g., newborn care specialist), or specific training often charge higher rates.

  • Number of Babies

Caring for twins or multiples typically costs more than caring for a single baby due to the increased workload.

  • Hours and Duration

Rates may vary depending on the number of hours per night, the total number of nights required, and whether the arrangement is short-term or long-term.

  • Duties and Responsibilities

Additional responsibilities, such as bottle preparation, light housekeeping, or sleep training, can increase the cost.

  • Time of Year

Demand during peak times, like the holiday season, may drive prices higher.

  • Agency Fees

Hiring through an agency often includes placement fees or additional charges for their services, adding to the overall cost.

  • Overnight Rates vs. Hourly Rates

Some nannies charge a flat overnight rate, while others charge hourly, which can influence costs depending on the length of the shift.

When considering hiring a night nanny in Sandy Springs, GA, it's advisable to research and interview several night nannies to find one who aligns with your preferences, needs, and budget. During consultations, you can discuss their specific services and pricing structure to ensure you have a clear understanding of what is included and the associated costs. Hey everyone! My name is Alyssa and I am a postpartum doula. My passion with the birth experience came after having my own children, when I was able to truly understand the transformation that unfolds during motherhood. I love taking care of other people and have spent my entire life working with children. I am excited to connect with some families to see if we are a good match!

I honestly cannot say enough amazing things about Alyssa. From the very beginning, she made me feel prepared, heard, and completely supported. She helped me create my birth plan, went over every detail with me beforehand, and truly took the time to understand the birth I wanted. She stayed on call with me while I labored at home, kept up with my contractions, and came straight to the hospital the moment I called her. She was there through every part of my labor. She helped me with different positions, including the rebozo sifting technique, which was one of my favorites and brought me so much relief. She even brought the rebozo herself, along with a comb to help redirect the pain, snacks, drinks, and headphones in case I needed them. What meant so much to me was how intentional she was about creating a calm, safe space for me to give birth. She dimmed the lights, kept the room peaceful and quiet, and made sure the environment felt exactly how I wanted it to. She also made sure my husband felt included and supported throughout the entire experience, which meant so much to both of us. When I was exhausted and overwhelmed, Alyssa became my voice. She helped me understand what the doctors were asking, advocated for me, and made sure my wishes were respected when I didn’t have the energy to speak for myself. I truly, from the bottom of my heart, don’t think I could have had the dream birth I wanted without her. She gave me comfort, strength, reassurance, and so much love during one of the most intense and beautiful moments of my life. At this point, I swear Alyssa basically delivered my baby herself 😂❤️. I am forever grateful for her and everything she did for me. If you’re considering a doula, I cannot recommend Alyssa enough. She is truly incredible at what she does, and I feel so lucky that she was part of such a special moment in my life. 🤍

I was born to nurture babies. I have 28 years of professional Nanny experience. The saying “do what you love and love what you do”? This statement is 100% why I am a Nanny. Being a Nanny fulfills me in a way nothing else ever has or ever will. I could not be more proud of my career as a Nanny and the positive impact I have had on dozens of families and children I hold in my heart forever. I participate in continuing education as well as numerous professional organizations in order to be the best Nanny possible. I am passionate about protecting and watching babies thrive while supporting parents. Others describe me as enthusiastic, creative and positive. I am a naturally optimistic person, and being with babies makes me feel joyful and hopeful. I was born in the South. My Dad was an FBI agent, so I am extremely attuned to safety and security. I have impeccable references as well as over a dozen five-star, recent reviews. I have a perfect background and clean driving record. I have never smoked or vaped and drive a safe vehicle. My hourly rate reflects my many years of quality care. Michael Phelps was born to swim; Mikhail Baryshnikov was born to dance, and Luciano Pavarotti was born to sing. I was born to be a Nanny.

Shannon was a blessing to our family during the newborn period. She was caring, attentive, experienced, and incredibly professional, and we always felt completely comfortable knowing our son was safe and well cared for in her hands. Her experience and helpful advice were invaluable, and her genuine love for what she does truly stood out. She made those early newborn days so much more manageable, and we are incredibly grateful for her support. Any family would be lucky to have Shannon!

Becoming a mother is one of life's most beautiful experiences — but also one of the most physically and emotionally demanding. Every mother deserves knowledgeable support, nourishing care, and time to heal. Hello! I'm Xuanqin Garrett, a certified Postpartum & Infant Care Doula (ProDoula, Cert. #PICD025127) serving the Metro Atlanta area. I have supported 8 families through the precious first weeks with their newborns, and I'd love to support yours. My Specialties Traditional Chinese Postpartum Meals — one of my greatest passions. I prepare authentic Chinese month-confinement meals: tonic chicken soup, traditional herbal teas (including Shenghua Tang to support postpartum recovery), and warm recovery dishes. I don't follow standard recipes — I customize every meal plan to each family's tastes, dietary needs, and cultural or faith traditions. Breastfeeding Support — the early weeks are often the hardest. Within my professional scope as a postpartum doula, I provide education, encouragement, comfort measures, and practical support, including gentle breast massage for fullness and engorgement. For medical concerns, I always refer to the mother's OB provider or an IBCLC. Gentle Recovery Care — relaxation massage for new moms (including cupping and moxibustion when appropriate), newborn care guidance, and light housework so you can rest and bond with your baby. My Schedule — daytime support (typically 6 hours/day in the first week, then 4–6 hours/day adjusted to your needs) and overnight care up to 2 nights per week. I hold a current AHA Heartsaver CPR/AED certification (adult/child/infant), and I speak Mandarin Chinese and English. It would be my privilege to walk alongside you as you welcome your newest family member.

When I got connected with Marissa, I just knew she was the right doula for me. I know there’s no such thing as perfect, but my spirit truly aligned with hers. I trusted God and felt at peace not choosing a backup doula, even though I had interviewed three. And I have no regrets. I was induced at 37 weeks, so I wasn’t able to fully follow my birthing plan. However, we had discussed it in depth, and she knew exactly what I wanted. Marissa was firm, supportive, and confident which I deeply appreciated. She wasn’t afraid to speak up for me. She made sure to ask me if decisions being made were truly what I wanted and ensured I understood everything happening. She also made sure she had all the information just like I did. I felt completely comfortable and safe with her. I didn’t feel like I had to track or manage everything because I knew she was doing that. She made sure I had water, juice, crackers everything I needed. I’m not used to being taken care of. I’m usually the strong friend, the one who handles everything on my own. So when Marissa was putting chapstick on my lips, socks on my feet, rubbing my back, and helping me stay comfortable, it honestly shocked me in the best way. It meant more than I can explain. Yes, she’s a doula but to me, it never felt like just a job to her. It felt genuine, loving, and intentional. I will always adore and appreciate her for how she showed up for me during one of the most important moments of my life.

Subrina Sineus

Having a passion of caring for babies and young children ever since young, I have extended that passion through education becoming a certified postpartum doula. With years of newborn, infant and young childcare under my belt, I have had the pleasure of caring for newborns, infants, and young children with a variety of needs. The needs include colic, premature care, circumcision care, sight disabilities and more. Providing quality and compassionate care for mothers, newborns, infants, toddlers and young children is my number priority. In the midst of my journey of newborn, infant, toddler and childcare care, I became aware of the care and attention that is needed towards women. The ability to create a safe space for them in many ways built up my courage to dive deeper into caregiving.

Recent review

Subrina was awesome, she was very attentive to my daughter. I was nervous to seek out help due to anxiety, but I am glad I did because we had someone like her. She let me relax and do the things I needed to around the house. I was able to get five hours of rest which is unheard of with a newborn. When I woke up she had a schedule of everything she did for my daughter, and if I had a question about anything she was more than happy to answer. The spirit that she carries is very comforting, not only to me as a mom but other family members that was around. I would recommend her to anyone who needs a service like this. Hopefully by the time I am ready to have another she will be available again.
