The cost of a night nanny in Sausalito, CA can be influenced by several factors:

  • Experience and Qualifications

Nannies with extensive experience, certifications (e.g., newborn care specialist), or specific training often charge higher rates.

  • Number of Babies

Caring for twins or multiples typically costs more than caring for a single baby due to the increased workload.

  • Hours and Duration

Rates may vary depending on the number of hours per night, the total number of nights required, and whether the arrangement is short-term or long-term.

  • Duties and Responsibilities

Additional responsibilities, such as bottle preparation, light housekeeping, or sleep training, can increase the cost.

  • Time of Year

Demand during peak times, like the holiday season, may drive prices higher.

  • Agency Fees

Hiring through an agency often includes placement fees or additional charges for their services, adding to the overall cost.

  • Overnight Rates vs. Hourly Rates

Some nannies charge a flat overnight rate, while others charge hourly, which can influence costs depending on the length of the shift.

When considering hiring a night nanny in Sausalito, CA, it's advisable to research and interview several night nannies to find one who aligns with your preferences, needs, and budget. During consultations, you can discuss their specific services and pricing structure to ensure you have a clear understanding of what is included and the associated costs. This process will help you find a night nanny who meets your needs and fits within your budget.

We were incredibly fortunate to have Liv care for our daughter from 2 to 3.5 months old. She was consistently kind, attentive, and genuinely caring, treating our baby with so much patience, gentleness, and love. Our daughter has moderate laryngomalacia, which required extra attention and care, and Liv handled it with remarkable compassion and dedication. When our daughter was sick or uncomfortable, Liv would stay up with her, holding her upright for extended periods to help her breathe and rest more comfortably. She always put our baby’s well-being first and never hesitated to go above and beyond to ensure she was cared for. As new parents, it gave us tremendous peace of mind knowing our daughter was in such capable and loving hands overnight. Liv was reliable, nurturing, and attentive to our daughter’s needs, and we always felt confident that she was safe, comforted, and cared for. Beyond her excellent care of our baby, Liv was also supportive and reassuring to us as parents during those early months. Her calm presence, experience, and genuine affection for our daughter made a meaningful difference for our family. We are deeply grateful for everything Liv did for our family and would wholeheartedly recommend her to any family looking for a compassionate, trustworthy, and exceptional night doula.

Hi everyone, I’m Brittany Maalona, owner and doula with Stork & Sprout, a team-based doula practice serving families throughout the San Francisco Bay Area. While you’ll see my name and photo here, Stork & Sprout is very much a team. Our doulas bring a range of experience, backgrounds, personalities, and specialties to our work, and we support one another so families have a broader circle of care throughout pregnancy, birth, and postpartum. We provide birth and postpartum doula support, along with lactation support, bodywork, placenta encapsulation, education, TENS rentals, and other resources for growing families. Our team supports families throughout San Francisco, the Peninsula, East Bay, and North Bay. One of the things I care most about is making doula support feel accessible, dependable, and genuinely relational. We believe families deserve information without judgment, support that respects their choices, and a team they can feel comfortable reaching out to. If you’re looking for support, please feel free to reach out. I’m happy to learn more about what your family is looking for and help connect you with the doula or support option within our team that may be a good fit.

We had such a wonderful experience with the Stork & Sprout North Bay team. From the beginning, Brittany made us feel supported and helped us understand how the team approach worked and what to expect. We also had the opportunity to connect with Juliana, Samantha, and Yohki, and each of them brought something different while still making the care feel consistent and personal. What we appreciated most was knowing we had a whole team behind us rather than feeling like everything depended on one person being available. Everyone was warm, knowledgeable, responsive, and genuinely respectful of the kind of birth and postpartum experience we wanted. We never felt pressured or judged, and our questions were always taken seriously. Having local doula support here in the North Bay made such a difference for our family. We would absolutely recommend the Stork & Sprout North Bay team to anyone looking for thoughtful, dependable, and compassionate support during pregnancy, birth, or postpartum.

I’m Nubia, a mom of five (teens & young adults). I have 25years of experience in the birth, postpartum & newborn care field. This is my passion work. I have a tremendous amount of gratitude being able to do this heart-centered work professionally & full-time. I support mothers & families as a certified birth doula, postpartum doula, parent educator, certified breastfeeding counselor (CLC), an integrative nutrition health coach (IIN) and a student midwife. My journey started in the year 2000 in my hometown of Washington, DC. In 2015. Since then, I’ve supported a diverse clientele in New York City and now Cali. My philosophy: Mothers deserve to be respected, heard and nurtured doing this major transition in life to becoming a mom, whether it’s for the first time or the 8th time! I truly believe It takes a village to raise a family which is what led me to my purpose, heart-centered work of supporting mothers & families. I’m a strong advocate for mothers and families birthing in all settings including hospital, home & birth centers. I respect the many choices in mothering and parenting. It's an honor to walk the path of mothering with women as they navigate the many options we have today. I strongly believe in the woman's ability to grow, birth and nourish her baby with her natural, innate abilities while also respecting the need or preference of medical support along the way. It's all about the balance of holistic & medical. My support also includes follow up postpartum healing practices for mom, lactation and pumping support, newborn care and parent coaching. On my spare time I enjoy indulging in health & wellness therapies, spending time in nature, traveling, cooking, dancing, and enjoying quality time with my family. I believe every birthing person should have the right to a trauma free birth experience, where their beliefs, values and goals are heard and respected. Birthing bodies are powerful. My goal as a doula is to remind you of the power you hold. I have worked in the medical field for 13 years as a Certified Medical Assistant, Lead Medical Assistant Instructor, recently completed my Bachelor of Science in Healthcare Administration and gained Certification as a Birth and Postpartum Doula. I am a very motivated and determined person. As a dedicated mother and proud African American woman, my heart is deeply rooted in the wellbeing of our community. The glaring disparities in maternal health that disproportionately affect women of color are not just statistics to me; they are urgent calls to action that resonate with my own experiences and those of my loved ones. I am committed to leveraging my knowledge, resources, and voice to initiate and support sustainable changes within the healthcare system. My goal is to ensure that equitable, high-quality maternal care is not a privilege, but a standard afforded to all mothers, regardless of their socioeconomic status. Through community outreach, advocacy, and education, I strive to contribute to a world where maternal mortality in underserved communities is not a grim expectation but a rare exception. My mission is to fight for a future where every mother’s life is given the value it unequivocally deserves.

I’m a certified Postpartum Doula, Certified Postpartum Nutritional Professional, Sleep Consultant and Lactation supporter. I’ve been working with families in the Bay Area for over 37 years and I absolutely love being part of this new phase of bringing a brand new baby home, weather this baby is your biological or adopted.

Recent review

We are incredibly grateful to have had Rosangela as our doula during our baby’s first month of life. From day one, she was punctual, reliable, and—most importantly—exceptionally caring with our newborn. Rosangela supported us for four weeks and was flexible with her schedule, even accommodating our request for a later start. When her assignment with us was coming to an end, she went above and beyond by helping us find a second doula to ensure continuity of care as well as training that doula to ensure no disruption. Even after rolling off, she has continued to check in with us, offering guidance and thoughtful support, which has meant so much during the postpartum period. During her time with us, Rosangela supported night feedings by gently waking both mom and baby, assisted with latching, burped the baby, and handled diaper changes throughout feeds. She supported our baby’s first bath, helped with baby laundry, and took care of all breast pump setup and cleanup—assembling parts, washing them, and making sure everything was ready for the next pumping session. These details made an enormous difference during those early, exhausting weeks. She consistently offered helpful advice and reassurance, always in a respectful way that made us feel supported rather than directed. Rosangela brought a calm, nurturing presence into our home, and we truly felt that our baby was in loving, experienced and capable hands. We wholeheartedly recommend Rosangela to any family looking for a knowledgeable, compassionate, and dependable doula. She was an invaluable part of our postpartum journey.

Hello! I’m Naoko. I am a Japanese-trained midwife, birth and postpartum doula, lactation counselor, childbirth educator, and mother of four. Before moving to the United States, I worked as a midwife in Japan, supporting families throughout pregnancy, birth, and the postpartum period. Since moving to the San Francisco Bay Area, I have continued supporting families as a doula with compassionate, evidence-based, and personalized care. My approach is centered on the person giving birth. I believe every birthing person deserves to feel heard, respected, informed, and supported in making decisions that are right for them and their family. I draw on both my medical knowledge and my personal experience raising four children to provide practical, compassionate, and individualized support. I welcome families of all backgrounds, races, cultures, gender identities, and sexual orientations, including LGBTQ+ families. I support a wide range of birth preferences and experiences, including unmedicated birth, epidural birth, induction, VBAC, and cesarean birth. I also offer childbirth education, breastfeeding and lactation guidance, prenatal yoga, and bilingual support in English and Japanese. My goal is to help each family feel confident, supported, and empowered throughout pregnancy, birth, and the postpartum journey.

I reached out for support because I was feeling really anxious about attempting a TOLAC. I wasn’t sure if I should go for it, but after having many honest conversations, I felt completely heard and supported. That helped me make a decision I truly felt good about. On the day of my delivery, she came right away. Her bright encouragement and Naoko’s calming presence helped me shift from fear to confidence. In the end, I had a successful VBAC, and it turned into the best birth experience I could have hoped for. I’m so grateful I chose Naoko’s support and would absolutely recommend her to anyone considering a TOLAC or VBAC.

As a Registered Nurse, Certified Sleep Consultant and Certified Postpartum Doula with more than 23 years of full -time night experience, my goal is creating confident parents. Caring for more than 250 newborns has given me a wealth of experience in transitional care of babies into family life. This is accomplished by establishing successful feed/sleep routines, teaching calming techniques and answering the myriad questions that would be in a manual if babies came with one. This enables everyone to get much needed rest much sooner than is typically experienced in this scenario. As a Certified Sleep Consultant, also known as "The Sleep Angel" I also assist families who have not had the benefit of my guidance from the beginning of life with their baby. Tackling issues of sleep disturbance/interruption in older infants/toddlers with gentle, supportive techniques results in peace in the home environment that only sleep can provide. I look forward to meeting and working with you and your little one!

We feel incredibly fortunate to have worked with Kathy. She has been our sleep coach for both of our children, and her experience, wisdom, and calm presence made all the difference. She truly is a baby whisperer. What we appreciated most was how she met us exactly where we were as parents. She never offered a one-size-fits-all approach—instead, she listened, understood our family's needs, and provided thoughtful, practical guidance with a lot patience and kindness. She's incredibly gracious, insightful, and genuinely cares about the families she works with. We always felt supported, encouraged, and confident knowing she was in our corner. We're so grateful for everything she did for our family and recommend to parents looking for compassionate, expert sleep support.

We feel incredibly lucky to have had Leticia as our night doula during these first weeks with our newborn. Looking back, I honestly don’t know how we would have gotten through this postpartum journey without her. What really sets Leticia apart is how much she genuinely cares about our baby and our family. We can tell that she takes care of our baby with so much patience, gentleness, and love. She is attentive to his needs and treats him with warmth, care, and professional knowledge. It feels like our baby can always calm down immediately in Leticia’s hands. Knowing that our baby was in such good hands allowed us to truly relax when Leticia was here at night. That peace of mind is something we cannot put a price on. She is incredibly knowledgeable, professional, calm, reliable, and dependable. Her communication is also exceptional. She is clear and precise, but never cold or clinical. We always felt completely comfortable asking her questions, no matter how small or repetitive they might have seemed. We really appreciate how approachable and generous Leticia has been with her guidance and how willing she is to answer all of our questions. We are so grateful for everything she has done for us and for our baby. Leticia is truly outstanding at what she does, and I cannot recommend her enough. Any new parent would be incredibly fortunate to have her supporting them through those precious, exhausting, and sometimes difficult first weeks with a newborn.
