Newborn Care Specialist • Postpartum Doula • Sleep Coach • Nanny • Travel NCS I’m a newborn care specialist, postpartum doula, sleep coach, and experienced nanny with 15 years of hands‑on experience caring for babies. I support families through the tender newborn stage with calm, structured, and deeply nurturing care — whether you need overnight support or full 24/7 coverage. My approach is baby‑led, developmentally informed, and rooted in gentle structure. I monitor feeding intervals, sleep cues, digestive comfort, and early developmental patterns to create predictable routines that help babies settle, rest well, and thrive. I specialize in gentle sleep shaping, responsive nighttime care, and systems that support healthy circadian rhythms and steady growth. I’m experienced with singletons and twins, including families navigating breastfeeding, bottle feeding, combination feeding, and complex overnight schedules. My role is to bring steadiness, clarity, and confidence into your home — helping parents rest deeply while knowing their baby is cared for with intention and expertise. I typically work 5–7 nights per week to ensure consistency and smooth progress. For families seeking continuous support, I also offer 24/7 newborn care, providing seamless routines, stability, and a peaceful environment day and night. Adrea was recommended to me by a friend of a friend, who had used her twice for postpartum newborn care. She is an expert in baby sleep!! Adrea is also very kind, trustworthy, and knowledgeable. She did not have availability to help me at night, but made herself available as much as possible during the day so I could get some much needed sleep. So so grateful for her. Highly recommend!!

I met Mary when she practiced in Arizona and quickly turned into more than just a service provider, but a friend as well. She’s helped me through the pregnancy and post partum of all 4 of my babies and I couldn’t ask for a better support person by my side. Even from Texas, Mary was an absolute saint even just with listening through my temper-tantrums while being pregnant and guiding me through labor-prep. I seriously have her and her alone to thank for such an amazing birth and post partum 4 times now. I seriously recommend her if you’re looking for someone to feel more like family than a service.

Hi! I’m a birth doula, childbirth educator, and lactation counselor with a background in osteopathic medicine and a deep passion for perinatal support. During medical school, I saw how the way we approach and nurture pregnancy and birth can shape early family experience, creating lasting ripple effects. In addition to birth work, I lead parent support groups through PEPS and am a mom of two teens. I understand how unpredictable and transformative the journey into parenthood can be, and my role is to help you feel grounded in the moment and ready for what comes next. Every parent brings their own values and lived experiences—sometimes joyful, always complex—and I offer steady support and advocacy tailored to your unique path.

Working with Jen was one of the best decisions I made for my birth. From the start, she brought a calm, confident, and grounding presence that felt so reassuring. She took the time to understand not just what my birth plan was, but why it mattered to me (which I think made all the difference when things didn’t go exactly as I originally hoped). Throughout pregnancy, she stayed in close contact and was always available when I felt worried or confused. Her guidance through the confusing days of pre/early labor and her arrival as soon as we needed more support made me feel really cared for. During labor, Jen really helped me cope with contractions and stay calm in between. She helped me get into a good flow and pulled many helpful things out of her toolbox (both metaphorically and literally) without disrupting my rhythm. Hospitals make me uneasy, but she helped me stay focused no matter what was going on around me. She kept me grounded when things got intense and I doubted myself. Jen interacted effortlessly with the medical team and brought up helpful questions I wouldn’t have known to ask (monitoring, IV placement, positioning especially during pushing). Between preparation during prenatal meetings and Jen’s encouragement and advocacy during my birth, I was able to stay confident and really be in the moment when my baby arrived. I can’t imagine going through pregnancy and birth without her.

We feel so lucky to have had Danielle with us three nights a week for the first six weeks after bringing our son home. As a first time mom, those early newborn days were such an adjustment, and Danielle quickly became a source of comfort and support for me too- not just someone we trusted to care for our baby. From the beginning, we felt safe and comfortable with her. She is incredibly caring, calm, and attentive, and I genuinely looked forward to the nights she was coming because I knew our son was in such good hands and I could actually rest. Especially in those first few weeks when everything felt so new, having her reassuring presence meant so much to us. Danielle was also wonderful about respecting our preferences and helping us figure out what worked best for our family without ever making us feel like there was one “right” way to do things. She was extremely communicative- always responsive, but also proactive about checking in, sharing updates, and making sure we were on the same page. We were genuinely sad when our time with Danielle came to an end. She became such a trusted and comforting presence during a really special and vulnerable time in our lives, and we’re so grateful she was part of those early weeks with our son. I would recommend her without hesitation to any family looking for a night doula.

My name is Rae Pittenger-Jimenez (she/they); I am a midwife, full-spectrum doula, and analog film photographer living in the Pacific Northwest. With over a decade in perinatal healthcare, my work weaves together clinical care with photography and writing, creating a body of work that is both interpretive of the reproductive experience and indexical to the unseen labor of family-building and parenthood. My creative and support practice is informed by years of clinical experience in prenatal, intrapartum, and postpartum care, combined with my own experiences of pregnancy, birth, and parenthood.

Rae supported us as a doula and birth photographer with the birth of our second daughter at St. Anne's in Burien, WA. Her presence in listening to our previous birthing experience, and our goals for this one, made us feel seen, known and held at each step of the way. Tiffany (birthing person) experienced Rae's care as steady, grounding and affirming, and feels that it helped her stay embodied even amidst intensity. Thomas (birthing partner) felt Rae's responsiveness was stellar, and that her instructions during labor were clear, pracitcal and kind. Rae's photography beautifully captured our perinatal chapter and served to support us in integrating our experience, as well as celebrating and honoring, the arc of our journey.

Laura was truly a life saver after our baby was born. Baby girl ( was very small when she was born, so the combination of concern about baby's weight/size, breastfeeding troubles, a lot of family stress, and awful postpartum depression made things really tough. Laura swooped in with incredible calm, knowledge, endless support, and a soothing touch, and things suddenly felt a bit more manageable. When Laura arrived, she would somehow see the big picture of "what does this house/family need right now?" and also zoom in on me and baby to make sure we were safe and comfy. The days when Laura was in our home meant I could take a shower, take a nap, have a solid meal--all while trusting that our baby was in excellent hands. Her depth of knowledge about pregnancy, newborns, feeding, safety, and overall health is incredible--and she has so many resources to share--but more than anything else, she made us feel incredibly cared for. I cannot recommend Laura highly enough to help smooth the transition from giving birth into the wild newborn days. Thanks to her, we felt less stress, less exhaustion, less worry, and so much more comfort. She's an amazing doula!
