The cost of a night nanny in Sparta, NJ can be influenced by several factors:

  • Experience and Qualifications

Nannies with extensive experience, certifications (e.g., newborn care specialist), or specific training often charge higher rates.

  • Number of Babies

Caring for twins or multiples typically costs more than caring for a single baby due to the increased workload.

  • Hours and Duration

Rates may vary depending on the number of hours per night, the total number of nights required, and whether the arrangement is short-term or long-term.

  • Duties and Responsibilities

Additional responsibilities, such as bottle preparation, light housekeeping, or sleep training, can increase the cost.

  • Time of Year

Demand during peak times, like the holiday season, may drive prices higher.

  • Agency Fees

Hiring through an agency often includes placement fees or additional charges for their services, adding to the overall cost.

  • Overnight Rates vs. Hourly Rates

Some nannies charge a flat overnight rate, while others charge hourly, which can influence costs depending on the length of the shift.

When considering hiring a night nanny in Sparta, NJ, it's advisable to research and interview several night nannies to find one who aligns with your preferences, needs, and budget. During consultations, you can discuss their specific services and pricing structure to ensure you have a clear understanding of what is included and the associated costs. This process will help you find a night nanny who meets your needs and fits within your budget.

Hey, I’m Kaleish, a public health practitioner, doctoral student (in public health) and a certified full-spectrum (birth and postpartum) doula. I currently hold certifications in providing NICU doula support as well as High Risk doula support. I am currently in training to be a certified community lactation educator. Think of me as your perinatal support person. I support women and birthing people of color who are feeling dismissed, unsure, or overwhelmed during pregnancy, birth, and postpartum. I started this work because I realized how many women of color are navigating pregnancy without the support, guidance, or advocacy they deserve. It deeply concerns me how often Black and Brown women have their concerns dismissed by medical providers—sometimes resulting in traumatic and avoidable birth experiences. Now, I help women and birthing people of color move from feeling unheard and unsure to feeling informed, supported, and empowered to advocate for themselves and their birth preferences. If you’re a woman or birthing person of color feeling dismissed, unsure, or overwhelmed—you’re in the right place. This journey is yours. I’m simply here to hold space, answer your questions, and make sure you feel safe, seen, and supported every step of the way. Random Facts: I've supported births at Katz Women's Hospital at Long Island Jewish Medical Center, Hungtinton Hospital, NewYork-Presbyterian Alexandra Cohen Hospital for Women and Newborns and NewYork-Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital. I am a lefty/ left handed. I don't have a sense of direction even with a map, however, I will find my way to support you. Hi, I’m Claire. I was inspired after a difficult first birth to learn more about childbirth, pregnancy and lactation and it quickly became a passion to support women in their pregnancies and postpartum periods. I have been honored to spend over 10 years supporting pregnant women. I am a DONA certified doula in childbirth and lactation offering birth, prenatal, and postpartum services. My own births have run the gamut from a Northern California birthing center to NY's largest hospital, giving me unique perspective across the many ways and places women can give birth. Additionally, I have worked as a caregiver for serious medical events outside of birth, giving me the ability to navigate the medical system with efficiency to maximally benefit patients. I utilize an evidence-based and compassionate approach to advocating for parents in the birthing room. I also offer emotional and physical assistance for all birth types and outcomes to a diverse set of families. I am is honored to work with families to give them the best experience possible during their births. Postpartum, I offer home visits and non-judgmental and reassuring lactation support. I was born and raised in Westchester County and am based in Armonk, NY. I am the mother to two young daughters and enjoys exploring the outdoors, photography, sewing and reading outside of my birthwork.

Claire was an invaluable and irreplaceable part of our birth experience. Claire's experience and guidance helped us thoughtfully create a birth plan that met our goals, which included managing my own expectations. As these things go, my birth plan was merely the road map for a very different series of events, and every step of the way, Claire was incredibly supportive in both the physical and emotional elements of the birth of our daughter. Claire’s presence and advocacy was instrumental to my husband and I communicating effectively with the hospital team and her support following the birth was immeasurable, both in hospital and at home post-partum. Her contributions to our birth exceeded my expectations, especially under unexpected circumstances. Claire's practice of providing us with evidence-based information needed to make our own informed decisions was grounding and invaluable. We are so thankful for Claire's support throughout our first pregnancy and birth.

We are available for both domestic and international travel, ensuring your family receives professional, personalized support wherever your journey takes you.

Recent review

Katia has been my postpartum doula and caregiver for my baby boy since February 2025. She consistently takes initiative in ways that truly lighten my load as a new mom. One moment that stands out was when she noticed I was juggling baby care and chores—without me even asking, she washed the baby's clothes and bedsheets, took out the trash, and even helped cut vegetables for dinner. She always notices what needs to be done and jumps in with such care and thoughtfulness—it’s clear she’s not just doing a job, but genuinely wants to support and nurture. This was my first baby, and I had never used a doula service before, so I was initially skeptical and a bit anxious about having someone new in our home during such a vulnerable and emotional time. But from the very beginning, Katia made me feel at ease. Although she has extensive experience with babies, she remains open and flexible—listening carefully to my needs and respecting our preferences. She remembered all the little things I mentioned and adapted her care accordingly. Even now, with my baby being 8 months old, I still turn to Katia when I need someone trustworthy to watch him for a few hours. That’s how much confidence and comfort she’s brought to our family. Both my husband and I are deeply grateful for her help—having Katia as our doula has been such a positive and reassuring experience. She made a lasting impact on our early journey as parents, and any family would be incredibly lucky to have her by their side.

The Best Support We Could Have Asked For! We had the immense blessing of working with Priya for both labor/delivery and postpartum care, and I can confidently say she was one of the greatest gifts of our entire journey into parenthood. As first-time parents, the transition can feel overwhelming, but her presence brought comfort, confidence, and so much peace into our home. From the very first moment, she was gentle, knowledgeable, and incredibly nurturing. Her care is rooted in deep Ayurvedic wisdom, and she combines it beautifully with modern newborn support. She went above and beyond in every way. ✨ Labor & Delivery Support Having her with me during labor and delivery made all the difference. She was calm, encouraging, and present through every contraction and every moment of uncertainty. Her guidance helped me stay mentally strong and physically supported. I truly don’t know how I would have done it without her. ✨ Newborn Care She cared for our baby with so much love — from Ayurvedic oil massages, creating gentle daily routines, helping with gas/colic relief, and supporting healthy sleep patterns. Every single thing was done so thoughtfully and respectfully. ✨ Postpartum Recovery For Me She didn’t just help with the baby — she took care of me as a mother: - Ayurvedic belly binding for core support - Warm oil massages - Herbal teas and foods that supported healing and milk production - Emotional and mental support on days I needed it most She made sure I rested, nourished my body, and felt seen and cared for — something every new mother deserves. ✨ Food & Meals Her freshly prepared Ayurvedic meals were amazing. Everything was warm, nourishing, and made to help my body recover and build strength. You can tell she puts her heart into every part of her work. ✨ Family Support She guided my husband, helped us understand newborn cues, and even shared tips that made our whole home more peaceful and soothing for the baby. Her knowledge is priceless. If you are considering Ayurvedic newborn care or postpartum support, don’t think twice. She is truly gifted at what she does. She combines expertise, intuition, and compassion in a way that is rare to find. We felt protected, encouraged, and cared for every single day. We absolutely love her and are so grateful for everything she brought into our lives. She will always be a special part of our birth and postpartum story. ❤️

Hi everyone, my name is Cavelle Francis. A certified Newborn Care Specialist, sleep trainer, and virtual consultant located in the New York area. My expertise was acquired from extensive experience with parents and infants, complemented by specialized training from the University of Colorado through Coursera, the Newborn Care Training Academy, and Alison courses. I am truly passionate about guiding parents through the complexities of newborn care and fostering healthy sleep patterns in babies. I firmly believe that postpartum support is crucial for all mothers, whether they are new to motherhood or have been through it before. I aim to cultivate a supportive, non-judgmental space that honors each parent's unique journey. Ultimately, I aspire to empower every mother I work with to face the challenges of parenting with assurance. In my free time, I love to read, listen to podcasts, and travel. If you seek exceptional support on your parenting path, I would be thrilled to connect!

Recent review

Cavelle began working in our family in June 2021 taking care of our 6 day-old boy/girl twins for 8 weeks. “Taking care” is a very passive phrase to explain what Cavelle does. Cavelle and I formed a bond from the moment we met over facetime, where she offered an abundance of advise and wisdom in preparing for the twin’s arrival months before they came. I was a first time mom with zero knowledge and Cavelle has taught me absolutely everything about newborn childcare in way that is carefully and specifically tailored to the needs not only of each of my twins but also for me, and our family. Cavelle created a scheduled routine for the twins that was mindful of their growth and development as well as one that was practical for our lives in such a way that we thrived as a new family of four. Because of the way Cavelle structured and implemented our bedtime routine, our newborn twins were able to sleep in 8 hour stretches in the night by 6 weeks. I cannot emphasize enough how Cavelle’s care for the twins allowed for them to thrive and develop in their early weeks. To demonstrate Cavelle’s wealth of knowledge and expertise, when we faced medical issues or questions, our pediatrician always echoed Cavelle’s first given advice and plan of care. Thanks to Cavelle’s incredible work ethic and multi-tasking style, my husband and I were able to not only get sleep at night and be fully functioning during the day (which is unheard of for newborn parents) but also easily enjoy the luxury of one-on-one time out of the house because we knew that the twins were under the best care with no interruption in their routine. Cavelle provided guidance at every aspect of the newborn journey from breastfeeding, pumping, and breast care, to accompanying trips to the pediatrician, to soothing techniques and differentiating each type of cry for each baby. As a first time mom, Cavelle fostered confidence in me by giving me the tools required in understanding each of my twins’ individual needs and how to properly tend to them. Cavelle goes above and beyond just newborn care by putting her heart and soul into the inceptive upbringing of babies by instilling her love and exceptional expertise. It is the absolute best decision in having Cavelle join our family as a baby nurse for our twins. If you are considering Cavelle as a baby nurse, you cannot find a better person and will be fortunate to experience the hand of Cavelle in your child’s early days.

My name is Grace Kovitch and I am a certified birth and postpartum doula, as well as craniosacral therapy practitioner located in Emmaus, Pennsylvania. When I started off as a birth doula, I quickly saw the drop off in care that happened with postpartum mothers, and have dedicated my career to making sure every new mom is educated, supported, and cared for. Postpartum support is truly where my heart is, and I love seeing the moment where a new mom starts to feel confident in her new role. When I'm not supporting families, you can find me hiking, backpacking, or spending time with my loved ones.

Recent review

I am delighted to recommend Grace Kovitch as a postpartum doula. Her sweet nature, care and compassion, and knowledge of newborns made her truly invaluable to our family throughout our daughter’s first four months. Her presence allowed our family to rest, recover, and truly enjoy the precious moments with our newborn. From the moment she stepped into our home, Grace provided a calming presence and a great knowledge about newborn care. She not only assisted with practical needs—such as soothing techniques, infant care, and light household tasks—but also provided the emotional support and reassurance that every new parent needs. Her warm and nurturing nature made all the difference during such a transformative time. (We knew she was the perfect fit for our family when our doberman wouldn’t leave her side! He now waits for her every night!) Additionally, her punctuality and reliability show the level of care she possesses for her clients. I wholeheartedly recommend Grace to any family in need of postpartum support. She is an incredible resource, and any family would be beyond lucky to have her by their side during the postpartum journey.

I’m Michelle, a compassionate, experienced and dedicated Newborn Care Specialist with a genuine passion for babies and supporting families during one of the most important transitions in their lives. My journey in newborn care began in Jamaica, where I worked as a Licensed Practical Nurse for over six years on the island’s largest neonatal unit. This experience gave me invaluable hands-on knowledge and confidence caring for newborns with a wide range of needs, while teaching me the importance of patience, attentiveness, safety and compassionate care. Since moving to the United States, I have continued working in healthcare and family support as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), Healthcare Assistant, Companion and Newborn Care Specialist. I have had the privilege of supporting families with newborns, twins and multiples, micro-preemies, babies with additional and specialist needs, as well as providing newborn care for surrogate families. I am committed to continually developing my knowledge and skills, and I am looking forward to pursuing my doula training because supporting women and their families throughout pregnancy, birth and the postnatal journey is something I am deeply passionate about. I would describe myself as warm, dependable, patient, trustworthy and adaptable. I genuinely enjoy becoming part of a family's support system and helping make those early days and nights with a newborn a little calmer and more manageable. For me, newborn care is more than a job. It is an opportunity to provide families with reassurance, practical support and peace of mind while giving their little one the safest, most loving care possible. We worked with Kiki from May to July 2022, and she was amazing. She provided full 24/7 newborn and postpartum support, helping with nighttime care, feedings, diapering, soothing, and creating a structured sleep routine. Her attention to detail and thoughtful guidance made us feel confident as new parents. The reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is that Kiki is not available as a long-term nanny. While her postpartum and newborn care is exceptional, she does not provide ongoing daily childcare beyond the support period, which we initially hoped for. Overall, Kiki is professional, trustworthy, and nurturing — a true asset to any family navigating the first months with a newborn.
