Hello! My name is Cherri and I’m a dedicated night nanny with a deep passion for supporting families during the newborn stage. As a mother of three, I understand firsthand the challenges and joys that come with caring for a new baby—especially when sleep is in short supply. I bring not only years of personal experience, but also a calm, nurturing presence to help parents get the rest they need while ensuring their little one is cared for with love and attention through the night. I’ve had the privilege of working with several families and have glowing references available upon request. I’m happy to undergo a criminal background and vulnerable sector check for your peace of mind. My goal is to provide gentle, reliable overnight care so you can feel confident knowing your baby is in safe, experienced hands. Please feel free to reach out if you’d like to chat more about how I can support your family! Warmly, Cherri

Hi, my name is Oluchi. I am a Registered Nurse (RN) with NICU experience. I provide safe, nurturing overnight newborn care, feeding support, soothing, diapering, and light postpartum assistance so parents can get some rest.

Childcare and working with families has been my career for over thirteen years. Since 2011, I have had the privilege of supporting a wide range of families, caring for children from newborns to twelve years of age in both private homes and early years settings. Alongside my childcare career, I am currently completing my certifications as a birth and postpartum doula and child sleep consultant, and I am also studying to become a birth and lactation coach. These areas of study allow me to further expand my knowledge of pregnancy, birth, postpartum adjustment, infant development, breastfeeding and lactation, responsive sleep, and family support. I am passionate about supporting families through the many stages of parenthood, from the early newborn days through childhood. Along the way, I have intentionally sought opportunities that have broadened my experience, from private nanny positions and family support roles to early childhood education, leadership, and operating my own licensed childcare business. My approach is centered on providing calm, consistent, and emotionally responsive care. I believe children flourish when they feel genuinely seen, safe, and respected, and I strive to create environments where they can develop confidence, independence, social skills, curiosity, and resilience. My practice is informed by attachment theory and trauma informed principles, always recognizing that every child is unique and deserves care that reflects their individual needs and family values. My experience includes caring for infants, toddlers, school aged children, twins, siblings, and groups of up to 24 children, as well as supporting children with additional physical, developmental, emotional, and behavioural needs. I am equally comfortable managing the changing routines of a busy household as I am planning enriching activities, supporting school readiness, encouraging outdoor exploration, or providing a quiet, reassuring presence during more challenging moments. Alongside childcare, I take pride in contributing to the smooth running of a family home. I am experienced with meal preparation, wardrobe management, laundry, organization, appointment scheduling, school runs, errands, travel preparation, and maintaining tidy, welcoming spaces. I am confident accommodating vegan, vegetarian, dairy free, and allergy conscious diets. I hold a degree in Child Development and remain committed to continuing my professional development. I maintain my First Aid and CPR certification, have completed training in childcare administration, allergy awareness, and the BC Early Learning Framework (known as the FLIGHT curriculum in Alberta), and actively seek opportunities to continue learning throughout my career. Outside of work, I enjoy hiking, swimming, reading, dancing, and arts and crafts. These are activities I enjoy sharing with children, whether that means spending time outdoors, discovering new books, or testing out new ways to be creative. Above all, I understand the importance of safety, trust, discretion, and reliability. I am a non smoker, fluent in both English and Spanish, have a reliable vehicle and a clean driving record, am comfortable travelling with families, experienced caring for pets, and at ease working within professionally managed households, including those with security systems and in-home cameras. My goal is to become a dependable person who supports both children and the household with warmth, professionalism, and care. I traded tractor parts for postpartum care and never looked back. As a postpartum doula, I support families with nourishing meals, practical help, and a listening ear while they navigate the Fourth Trimester. Feeding families is my love language, and helping parents feel rested, cared for, and supported is at the heart of my work. When I'm not with clients, you'll find me supporting and connecting with my local doula community, gardening, camping, crafting, spending time with my husband and our dachshunds, and collecting Cool Auntie points whenever I can.

Hi there! My name is Krista, and I am the owner of KKH Doula Services in Calgary, AB, Canada. It is so nice to meet you! I started my doula business in January 2022. I became a postpartum doula after struggling in my own postpartum journey. Lacking my own support, I was diagnosed with postpartum depression and anxiety. It was through my perinatal mental health groups that I learned about postpartum doulas and the amazing work they do! I immediately signed up for postpartum doula training, and the rest is history! I have been so fortunate to have supported many families in their postpartum journey. Families seek me out because of my lived experience with perinatal mental health disorders, grief, and over 12 years' experience in the disability and mental health field. I am described as a kind, calm, hard-working, reassuring, and knowledgeable person, and I bring these qualities to my doula practice. I would be honoured to support you in your own journey! Please reach out for a free consultation to see if I would be the right match for you and your family!
