I specialize in supporting people in larger bodies and navigating weight stigma and anti-fat bias in maternity care. My practice is fat-positive, LGBTQ+ affirming, neurodivergent-affirming, and trauma-informed—and you don’t need to identify as fat to work with me. I believe there’s no one “right” way to give birth. Hello I have been a birth doula for 5 years. I am a vet, mom of 7 and an Army wife. I love bonding and watching moms experience true empowerment in the birth room no matter what that looks like to them.

I love my job! Supporting parents through labor, birth and postpartum is amazing, and rewarding, and what I feel called to do. I am a birth and postpartum doula, as well as a childbirth educator and a lactation educator. Having an understanding of your options is a big part of preventing birth trauma. Educating parents about how they can better navigate their labor and the medical system is a big part of what I do. I support folks emotionally, physically, with information/resources, and with advocacy (and photo documentation of their labor). We usually have some fun too!
