I specialize in supporting people in larger bodies and navigating weight stigma and anti-fat bias in maternity care. My practice is fat-positive, LGBTQ+ affirming, neurodivergent-affirming, and trauma-informed—and you don’t need to identify as fat to work with me. I believe there’s no one “right” way to give birth. I am a Certified Lactation Counselor and Birth/Postpartum Doula, and was called to this work because of my own experiences. I had a myriad of pregnancy issues, including loss, high risk medical complications, postpartum mood disorder, PTSD, and breastfeeding challenges. Like many families, we could not find the right resources, despite looking and asking for help. I don't want another person to fall through the cracks like I did.
