Hi, I’m Monica! I’m a certified postpartum doula through Cornerstone Doula and Birthwork Trainings and the heart behind The Sacred Season Doula. I believe every postpartum journey deserves tenderness, flexibility and genuine care. As a mom of four, I understand how each experience can feel completely different. Some moments are joyful, some feel overwhelming, and often it is a mix of both. My intention is to meet you exactly where you are and offer support that feels calming, respectful and deeply human. I specialize in overnight postpartum support, creating a peaceful and steady presence while you rest and recover. Whether it is newborn care, feeding support, emotional grounding, or simply giving you the gift of uninterrupted sleep, my goal is to make your nights softer and your days lighter. The postpartum period is a sacred season and no one is meant to move through it alone. I am here to help you feel held, supported and cared for as you settle into life with your baby. I serve families across these South Jersey counties: Gloucester, Camden, Cumberland, Salem, and parts of Burlington and Atlantic counties.

We had the pleasure of having Monica as our postpartum doula after the birth of our second baby. Monica is sweet, caring, and hard working. She supported my feeding goals, whether I wanted her to bring me baby to breastfeed or wanted her to offer baby a bottle so I could get some extra sleep. In addition to helping to care for our newborn, she was a tremendous help with cleaning bottles and pump parts and folding laundry - all the tasks that helped us focus on baby and get some extra sleep. Monica was a big help to us during the postpartum period and we gladly recommend her!

Hi I'm Chris! I'm super passionate about all things birth. I'm a birth and postpartum doula and a lactation councelor. I have 4 grown children, I was a sign language interpreter many years ago, and worked in a local church for 20 years. I was incredibly nieve and uninformed when I had my children and it is my hearts desire to support moms through pregnancy and birth as well as those first few months after baby is born. I have no preconcieved notions as to how your birth should or should not go. I believe in supporting you in the way that fits you the best while informing you of all your options. I am excited to be following my passion and I look forward to sharing it with you.

Chris was my birth doula, and let me say I would not have had the confidence to do an unmedicated birth as a first time mom without her support, knowledge, and guidance. Chris is EXTREMELY passionate about what she does and it is evident upon any interaction with her. She provided me with many tools to use not only while in labor, but also for pregnancy, breastfeeding, and postpartum. She made herself available to answer any questions I had, even post birth. She is tremendously supportive to any and all decisions you as a mom-to-be. She will not try to persuade you into something else. She makes it very clear it is YOUR birth and she is there to fully support you! If you are considering using Chris as a doula…please don’t think twice!! She is an incredible person..the sweetest woman you will ever meet and extremely knowledgeable! Thank you Chris!!!!

Harmony's assistance was invaluable to us during my pregnancy, labor, delivery, and post partum. She helped me to understand a lot of the processes both that my body would go through and that the medical system would put me through, which was incredibly helpful in making more informed decisions and planning for what would be an unorthodox birth. Harmony helped me flesh out my birth plan more completely, which helped me to feel more in control when the time came to make medical decisions. Additionally, she was there through a significant portion of my LONG labor and assisted not only with that process, but also with providing support to my teenage daughter, who was present for labor and who experienced some anxiety because of it. She video called with me in the hospital during my recovery to help me navigate caring for my babies and preparing for breastfeeding despite their need for NICU treatment. Harmony went above and beyond to connect me with someone who could help me with the challenges of breastfeeding twins when I struggled post-partum. We truly cannot imagine what this process would've looked like without her and would (and already have!) recommended her highly to friends and family!

My Amber, my Amber (yes !! I literally yelled her name during delivery 😂)… where do I even begin? Amber was simply AMAZINGGGG. From answering late-night messages to showing up for impromptu emergency visits, she was always present. She made me feel instantly comfortable we clicked right away because Amber is truly a whole vibe.
What I loved most is how wholeheartedly involved she was. She advocated for me every step of the way and brought so much knowledge and passion into this journey. And listen… as a mom who has birthed FOUR babies, she still taught me things I never even knew. That says everything.
In such a short time, Amber became family. We’re going on three months postpartum and I can still text her, vent, and just be real no judgment, just love and support. She made this experience unforgettable, and honestly, I just wish I had found her sooner.
If you’re looking for a doula who will make you laugh, cry with you, turn the delivery room into a karaoke concert, hold you accountable (because she DOES NOT play 😌), while holding your hand and making you feel completely seen and validated she is the doula for you.
TENS, TENS, TENS ACROSS THE BOARD 👏🏽✨

Peace and blessings! My name is Xiomara, I am a mother of a beautiful girl. I am from the very small town of Pemberton, located in Southern New Jersey. I take pride and I am inspired by my (Afro Caribbean-Latina) Panamanian roots and culture. I believe in holistic and wholistic healing and practices, and the balance between the two. I am 2x certified full spectrum doula, (through Doula Trainings International and the state of NJ via NJMIHIA), Reiki Master, and Placenta Specialist. I became a doula because of my own birthing experience, which led me to my passion for birth-work. Helping families by educating, advocating, and providing a safe space for a meaningful and purposeful birth. No birth is the same, no pregnancy is the same. However, by providing a safe space, and exceptional services, we can shift the narrative so that more families are aware of birth-workers within and outside of the healthcare system, with a focus on culturally competent care. Our mission at The Purple Purpose LLC is to inspire our clients to become the highest most confident versions of themselves, while embracing their journey, from the beginning until the end. We aim to bring forth a new way to assist families in maintaining their health and wellness, before, during, and after birth. We want to bring a deeper level of holistic and wholistic practice that will allow personal and professional growth, but most importantly, a safe, successful, and purposeful birth .

I had the pleasure of working with Xiomara for prenatal, birth, and postpartum support, and I can’t recommend her highly enough. She is incredibly knowledgeable, passionate about her work, and truly attentive to the needs of her clients. From the very beginning, she was professional and supportive, helping me create a birth plan that reflected my wishes and values. During labor, she was a strong advocate for me and played a key role in making the experience smooth and empowering. Thanks to her support, I was able to have an unmedicated birth, which was a significantly better experience compared to my first. Her care didn’t stop at birth—she continued to check in during the postpartum period and even recommended excellent services, like a lymphatic drainage massage, that really helped with recovery. She’s very well-connected and a great resource all around. If you’re looking for a dedicated and compassionate doula, Xio is absolutely the one to call.
