I’m a birth and postpartum doula serving families throughout the Baltimore, DC, Southern Pennsylvania, and Southern Maryland areas. My work is rooted in one core belief: when a mother is deeply supported, nurtured, and cared for, she is better able to care for her baby and step into motherhood with confidence and grace. I specialize in supporting mothers through some of the most vulnerable and transformative seasons of life — including high-risk pregnancies, birth trauma, postpartum mood disorders, hyperemesis gravidarum (HG), chronic illness, pregnancy after loss, and complex postpartum recovery. My background in psychiatric rehabilitation counseling allows me to bring a unique understanding of emotional health, nervous system support, and compassionate care into the birth world. My approach is deeply intuitive, trauma-informed, and mother-centered. I believe birth is not just a medical event — it is a life-changing human experience that deserves respect, advocacy, emotional safety, and individualized support. Whether I’m supporting a laboring mother through transition, helping a postpartum mother heal after a cesarean, assisting with feeding challenges, or simply making sure a family feels seen and cared for, my goal is always the same: to “mother the mother.” I offer both birth and postpartum doula services, including overnight and daytime support, prenatal education, emotional support, recovery guidance, feeding support, and practical care for growing families. I am especially passionate about helping women trust themselves again after difficult experiences and creating spaces where mothers feel safe, empowered, and genuinely held. Beyond my work with clients, I’m passionate about maternal mental health advocacy, improving the birth experience for women, and creating honest conversations around motherhood, healing, and the realities of postpartum life. My work combines evidence-based education with warmth, intuition, humor, and deep compassion. At the heart of everything I do is the belief that mothers deserve quality care. Hi, I’m Gabrielle Taylor. I’ve been supporting mothers and newborns since February 2022, but my passion for women’s health began in my teenage years. I’m a proud mother of two—my children were born in 2017 and 2021. **I have teamed up with Danica Day to bring quality care and support to Frederick and the surrounding areas. You can read more about Danica here: https://www.dawnandduskdoulaco.com/** My first birth, a cesarean, was emotionally traumatic and left me feeling unsupported and unheard. In contrast, the birth of my second child was an empowering VBAC, made possible by the compassionate presence of an incredible doula. That experience was truly life-changing—it showed me the profound difference that informed, empathetic support can make. Now, my mission is to offer that same kind of transformative support to other families. Whether you're navigating your first birth or welcoming another child into your home, I’m here to help you feel confident, cared for, and connected. In today’s fast-paced world, motherhood can feel isolating—but I'm here to bridge that gap so you feel supported. I’m also currently pursuing my nursing degree to deepen my knowledge and enhance the care I provide as a doula. I’m honored to walk alongside you during this pivotal journey.

Gabby is amazing! Truly, she answered every question I had, supported our postpartum journey, explained everything throughly, had brilliant insight, talked through everything with me, and helped my little guy sleep in 4+ hour stretches every time! She is the baby sleep whisperer! Could not say nicer things about Gabby and her gentle care of not only my little guy, but my family as a whole. She truly made my whole postpartum journey so much easier!!

I support parents who want a deeply intentional, holistic postpartum experience that prioritizes healing, nourishment, and emotional support, not just survival. My work centers on helping you feel prepared, rested, and cared for as you recover from birth and bond with your baby. I provide personalized postpartum planning, guidance on physical recovery, newborn care support, and practical help establishing boundaries, rhythms, and sustainable systems at home. Families who work with me value a grounded, intuitive approach to parenthood and want support that honors both the science of postpartum care and the wisdom of the body. What sets my work apart is my holistic training and focus on whole-person healing. I integrate Ayurvedic postpartum principles, offering guidance on warming foods, nourishment for breastfeeding, and practices that support hormonal balance, energy, and recovery. I help parents understand how to nourish their bodies for milk production, rebuild strength after birth, and create a home environment that promotes rest and regulation for both parent and baby. My approach blends trauma-informed emotional support, attachment-focused care, and community-centered values so you feel confident, deeply supported, and truly held during this transformative season.

Siena was a wonderful doula - I highly recommend her! For my second baby, I was trying for a VBAC. My baby was a few days late and I was very worried about having to be induced. Siena gave me so many helpful tips to try to bring on labor and I tried ALL of them. All of that prep work definitely contributed to going into labor, the short labor that I had (less than 3 hours from first contraction to delivery!) and my successful VBAC without an epidural. I had such a radically different experience this birth compared to with my first kid (did not have a doula that time around). And my entire postpartum experience was much improved because the labor was so much different/better. I am very appreciative of Siena's guidance and support throughout the latter weeks of my pregnancy. All of her work with me and my husband definitely helped create that positive experience and I will be forever grateful! Siena has a very calming presence, and I always felt cared-for and prepared after talking to her. She also encouraged me to think about things that I wouldn't have thought of on my own - i.e. how to prepare for the postpartum period. Because my labor was so short, Siena arrived very soon after the baby was born and she helped calm me down and deal with the crazy shakes and nausea that I had, as well as breastfeeding. She immediately assessed the situation and was able to provide things that were really comforting to me, without me even asking - she massaged my feet and put some peppermint oil by my head. And in those quiet moments following delivery, those careful, considerate details will forever be ingrained in my memory of my baby's first minutes in the world!

Over a decade ago, I began my journey into birth work as a medical assistant in an OB/GYN office. While I was honored to support women during such sacred moments, I often felt a quiet yearning — a desire to connect on a more soulful, heart-centered level, free from the clinical routines. As my own life shifted toward a more holistic and intentional path, I realized that birth, healing, and connection could be honored in a much deeper way. Today, I am blessed to walk this path as a Licensed Massage Therapist, Full-Spectrum Doula, Childbirth Educator, and Yoni Steam Practitioner. My work is rooted in the belief that birth is not just a medical event — it is a sacred, transformational rite of passage. I am here to hold space for women who choose to honor their bodies, their intuition, and the sacred rhythms of life. Together, we embrace a more natural, connected way of bringing life into the world. I walk alongside women through some of the most powerful and transformational moments of their lives. As a massage therapist and doula, I specialize in nurturing women's wellness — supporting those facing chronic gynecological challenges, guiding women on their journey to conception through natural and assisted methods, and holding space throughout pregnancy, birth, and beyond. I honor all birth stories, offering care for home births, VBACs, surrogacies, and adoptions. My support continues into the postpartum season, and I provide compassionate care for families navigating the grief of pregnancy and infant loss. As a certified Peristeam facilitator, I also harness the ancient wisdom of herbal yoni steaming to help women reclaim their womb health and reconnect with their inner power. My mission is to nurture, empower, and celebrate every woman’s journey with reverence and love. As a mom of two, life keeps me busy — especially as a proud band mom. When I'm not working, you'll find me spending time with my kids. And when I do manage to steal a moment for myself, you can bet I’m reading. I'm an avid book lover, always ready to dive into a good story, whether it's fiction, nonfiction, or something paranormal.
