A Dallas native, Madison was inspired to be a doula as far back as elementary school when she and her older sister watched TLC’s A Baby Story in the early 2000s. Madison completed DONA International Training March 2020. Since 2020, Madison has assisted mothers through VBACs, C-Sections, vaginal births with and without epidurals, home births, birthing center births and hospital births. Madison passionately encourages all pregnant mothers to have a doula who advocates for and is totally focused on the mother’s desires, comfort, and endurance. She builds a relationship her clients before, during and after birth experiences and stays up-to-date on the latest techniques and tools to make the birthing process the best it can be. Madison is a placenta encapsulator and loves talking about all things related to birth. Madison has worked as a nanny for many years since college and has a flexible schedule. My name is Orion Clements, the forerunner of Clements Doula Services, and I’m a Madriella Certified Birth Doula serving the DFW area. Traci Santangelo MSN APRN CNM: Originally from Fort Worth, Texas, I received my Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Texas Woman’s University and started my career working in a local Labor & Delivery Unit. I then married a Yankee (don’t hold it against me), and he moved me to Detroit, Michigan, then to Miami, Florida, and finally to Chicago, Illinois—all for his exciting career. It was at the University of Illinois at Chicago that I received my Master’s in Nursing with a Midwifery designation and developed a deep desire to move back to the Lone Star State. I was tired of being cold! During that time away, I had two children (who have my heart completely), worked in some incredible hospitals as a Labor Nurse, and really developed a desire to serve women. Birth has always been my passion. I love every part of it! From the first positive pregnancy test, to watching a mother hear her baby’s heartbeat for the first time, to hearing that same baby cry at birth—I find all of it exciting and am in constant awe of how perfectly we are made to carry and birth a baby. I am a complete geek when it comes to the physiology of human development and can’t help but talk about developmental milestones because they are fascinating. Why wouldn’t you want to know everything about your baby?! I never tire of it. And I never tire of a woman’s need to feel validated, heard, and respected. She moved to Texas to pursue her Biology degree at the University of Dallas, where she also played volleyball. She received her BSN from Texas Woman’s University and worked in Labor & Delivery at Parkland before getting her Master’s in Nursing from Texas Tech University and becoming a CNM. She is married to her wonderful husband, Logan, and they have two daughters, Julie and Helen. Theresa has had the privilege of previously working in a NaProTechnology office, where she gained valuable insights into the remarkable benefits of Fertility Awareness-Based Methods (FABMs) for so many women. Through her experience, she has seen how these methods empower women to understand and manage their reproductive health. At BirthPointe, Theresa is dedicated to continuing her mission of educating others about FABMs, promoting awareness, and supporting women in making informed choices about their fertility.

I am a labor/postpartum support serving families in the DFW area. My pursuit to maternal health education began six years ago when I experienced a homebirth of my third child. The following year, I supported a community member birth at the hospital and witnessed the differences between midwife facilitating brith at home and a midwife facilitating birth at a hospital. My research to find answers led me to learning about the history and the foundation of obstetrics in the United States. It has been my mission since then to support women experience pregnancy and labor as educated beings no matter where they decide to have a baby. My passion for this work aligns with my Faith, Islam. Therefore, as I serve families I focus on spirituality as well as science of birth.

Before becoming a certified Labor Doula, I achieved a Masters degree in Counseling as well as a teaching certificate in elementary education. My educational background and experiences enhance my abilities as a labor doula. I have always wanted to be in birthwork, since I had my first child at 18, but never knew where I would fit in. A few years ago I learned what a doula was and knew that that was where I belong. I love all things pregnancy and childbirth and love to learn more about it. I have worked in restaurants my whole life so I am very good at multi tasking and thinking on my feet and solving problems. I am a newer doula, however I have been helping friends, co workers and family forever with childbirth.
