My passion is deeply rooted in my personal experience and life long passions to help others. I had a rough start breastfeeding our daughter. With the thoughtful care of an amazing IBCLC who came to my home to help me, I was able to have a long breastfeeding journey with our daughter. Her support made me realize that I wanted to help other parents achieve their goals. It was really a full circle journey for me. When I was in college, I thought that I wanted to go into healthcare, but my academic journey didn’t work out for that. I pursued a degree in marketing and entered into the business world. I could never figure out why that didn’t work out in college until I was inspired to become a lactation professional. God had a plan for me to help moms, and lactation has been my way to help people in the way that I always thought that I wanted to in healthcare. I am a mom to two amazing kiddos and in my previous career worked in marketing and sales. My husband and I met when we both worked in college athletics. I took a step back from my career when I got pregnant with our daughter and focused on her and living the coach’s wife life with SEC football. It is then that I found my passion for lactation. I am a proud graduate of the University of Notre Dame and I grew up in the Michiana area. I am so happy to be home and serving our community (and beyond) with my private practice.

Hey there radiant moms and families! 🥰 I’m Jennifer, a passionate Maternal-Child Health advocate with over two decades as a Registered Nurse and Community Health Educator. My journey began in New Orleans where I graduated from LSU Health Sciences Center’s School of Nursing. My love for Maternal-Child Health truly blossomed after witnessing a Midwife-assisted delivery while in nursing school. From an RN at The Birthing Place at Tulane University Hospital and Clinic, to volunteering post-Hurricane Katrina, and moving to Houston pregnant with my twins, my passion for supporting moms intensified during my tenure at The Woman’s Hospital of Texas. I soon realized teaching was my calling. 🍎 As a Certified Childbirth Educator, teaching an array of topics from Infant CPR to Marvelous Multiples, I specialize in empowering parents. And my own NICU journey with my preterm twins fueled my commitment to lactation support. In 2014, I became a Certified Lactation Counselor, and soon after, an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant. Contributing to The Woman’s Hospital of Texas becoming the first Baby-Friendly Hospital in Houston is a badge of honor for me. My heart is with the fierce moms and their tiny NICU warriors. With my professional and personal expertise, I was pleased to bring my passion to my community by leading the opening of Memorial Hermann Pearland Hospital’s Lactation and Perinatal Education Departments. Holly Johnson is an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) with a Bachelor of Science in Maternal Child Health and Human Lactation. Holly is dedicated in helping military families and others in the Central Missouri area with all their infant feeding needs. She works with you to establish an evidence-based care plan that fits the needs of you and your infant. She has additional training in virtual consultations, oral habilitation, infant movements and holistic health.

My name is Maricela Cantu, Im a doctor from Monterrey, Mexico, with a degree from UANL, specializing in Nutrition and Breastfeeding. As a mother of two boys, whom I breastfed for over a year, I developed a deep passion for breastfeeding. This passion led me to earn my IBCLC credentials. My goal is to offer lactation education classes and provide breastfeeding support to mothers, helping them achieve their breastfeeding goals.
