It wasn’t until she joined the ARMY and had her first child that she realized birth didn’t have to look like what society or Hollywood often portrays. That experience sparked a fire in her to help women understand that God designed their bodies with strength and purpose! While still serving in the military, Sarah supported three fellow soldiers through their birthing journeys. After completing her service in 2012, she became a doula and birth photographer, then soon after, a Certified StillBirthday Doula, walking alongside families through both joyful and heartbreaking births. Her commitment deepened with time, and after much prayer and reflection, she felt a strong calling to pursue midwifery and became a CPM. Sarah is passionate about empowering mothers to trust their bodies, their instincts, and their faith. Hi, I’m Sai, a birth and postpartum doula, infant care specialist, and mom of four. My journey into this work began through my own lived experience with postpartum depression and anxiety, which opened my eyes to how deeply parents need support during pregnancy, birth, and the transition into parenthood, and how often they’re expected to navigate it alone. For over five years, I’ve supported families through pregnancy, birth, and the postpartum period with compassionate, nonjudgmental, and evidence-based care.
