Greetings! My name is JJ (she/her) and I am a full-spectrum birthworker and the founder of Full Spectrum Birthworkers, a Bay Area practice offering reproductive and perinatal care. I accompany people across the whole arc of reproductive life: preconception, pregnancy, birth, postpartum, loss, and release. My approach is holistic, culturally rooted, and body-led, drawing on body literacy, herbal allies, ceremony, consensual touch, and humor to support you in making decisions based on your own needs, wants, and desires. My foundational training includes Reclaim Our Birth Power Academy's Traditional Full Spectrum Birthworker Program, and I continue my practitioner study with The Holy Well's Institute of Liberation Medicine. Clients describe me as steady, warm, unhurried, and unafraid of what arises.

As a full spectrum doula and breastfeeding specialist, my goal is to provide continuous compassionate care and informational support in order to listen and guide you in making informed, empowered decisions. My support is rooted in developing a relationship with you from the moment we meet, curating my support to meet your specific needs as things unfold. I am focused on your physical and emotional needs and wellness from pregnancy to postpartum, your community, and your dignity and respect. I am a postpartum doula with over 3 years of experience supporting families during the early stages of parenthood. I am CPR and First Aid certified, fully vaccinated, and trained in breastfeeding support, helping mothers navigate nursing with confidence and care. My approach is compassionate and tailored to each family’s needs, providing both emotional and practical support to ensure a smooth and supported postpartum experience.

I support individuals and families through every stage of the reproductive experience: preconception, pregnancy, birth, loss, and postpartum, with care that’s holistic, culturally sensitive, and rooted in real life, not just the birth plan on paper. As a certified Full Spectrum Doula, Certified Lactation Educator (CLE), and Child Passenger Safety Technician, I bring a full care to every experience I join, so you’re not juggling five different providers for the pieces that matter most. Lactation support is close to my heart. Feeding is one of the areas where folks get the least real preparation and the most pressure. I’m here to make sure you have grounded, judgment~ free support from day one, whether that’s latch troubleshooting, pumping logistics, or just someone reminding you that “enough” looks different for everyone and every baby. With over ten years of experience and maternal, paternal & child care, I’ve learned that the best support isn’t performative. It’s steady. I show up prepared, I listen first, and I meet you where you actually are, not where a checklist says you should be.
