I have a lifelong passion for assisting others, which began when I attended college to study Human Services. Hello my name is Emma Maxey and I have been a certified birth doula for about two years. I am located in the Plainfield, IN area and eager to support expecting parents! I have great experience with pregnancy, with myself having naturally birthed my first three children (two of which are twins) and my last baby which I birthed prematurely via c-section. As a Traditional Homebirth Companion, I bring the tradition of the wise woman to your birth. For more years than we can count or recollect, this was the way women brought their babies into the world - at home, surrounded by women who knew birth, knew physiology and knew how to support it.
