Hello! I am a birth and postpartum doula in Volusia County and servicing within a 50 mile radius. I got started in the birth community after the birth of my daughter. I had a wonderful experience, in part due to the wonderful midwives who attended me throughout my pregnancy and labor, as well as the postpartum doula who came to my home at 2 in the morning to help me with her when I was losing my sanity. Hi there, I'm Jen, the doula and photographer! I offer maternity, birth and newborn sessions. I am married to my wonderful husband with whom I share seven energetic kiddos, ranging in age from 1 to 12 years! My personal birth experiences, a mix of hospital and home, are what ultimately ignited my passion for helping other women along in their journey to motherhood. It baffled me that so many women don't receive the support and education they deserve. My youngest 3 children were born at home, and I was then able to finally experience how powerfully transformative birth can be when done with absolute support and reverence to the process. It wasn't until the birth of my 7th child, I felt the Lord impress upon my heart to pursue birth work.
