As a certified postpartum doula my journey to becoming a doula was sparked by my own experiences transitioning into parenthood and realizing how invaluable supportive and unbiased care during this time can be . I support new families during the incredible and sometimes challenging transition into life with a new born . This includes things like offering breastfeeding guidance , assisting with light housework and most importantly providing a listening ear and emotional support as you navigate the joys and challenges of this special time . I’m passionate about helping families feel empowered and confident and also look forward to learning more about your needs and discussing how I can best support your family .

Hello! My name is jabria but I go by Rosalind. It was a nickname given to me in the Army. My background is 12 years of medicine as a medic in the Army. I am still serving in the Army national guard. I have my certified personal training certification and group fitness certification; and I am currently enrolled in exercise physiology through NAU in pursuit of practicing medicine as a physician assistant upon completion of my bachelors and masters. I pursued becoming a doula because I have always been passionate about women’s health. In fact, I took up personal training because I wanted to help women in postpartum combat depression and snap back to theirselves. I witnessed many friends struggle with taking the army physical fitness test and figured there had to be some way to be of some impact for all women who may deal with this, in either their career or daily life. Being a doula is important to me because I believe that women need more support in child birth and labor. I want to be apart of breaking the stigma with childbirth being painful and scary. I want to be apart of making childbirth more comfortable and a beautiful experience for women. I also believe with my expertise that I could offer packages that benefit women physically and mentally pre and post partum.

Jess was a wonderful support to me and my family in the first months postpartum. She brought a kind, calming energy into our home and she fit right in. She followed my lead to understand what I needed for every session whether it be sleep, food or advice. She is a great cook and helped me stock my fridge with nourishing meals.

I’m a single mother navigating the rewarding and challenging journey of raising an adventurous young boy. My life is a blend of nurturing a curious and growing child while indulging in my passions and interests. For many years, I’ve been deeply immersed in the food industry, managing a beloved family-owned Mexican restaurant that was started by my grandparents in 1964. This restaurant has been a cornerstone of our family and community, and my work there has not only shaped my professional life but also my personal identity. Running the restaurant has been a labor of love, connecting me to my heritage and allowing me to share our family’s culinary traditions with others. Cooking remains a significant part of my life, whether it's preparing meals at home or experimenting with new recipes. I find joy in exploring new culinary experiences and discovering new flavors, both in my own kitchen and through dining out at different restaurants. Traveling to foreign countries is another passion of mine, as it offers a chance to immerse myself in different cultures, gain fresh perspectives, and experience the world from new angles. Nature is my sanctuary, providing a peaceful retreat from the hustle and bustle of daily life. Whether I’m hiking through scenic trails or simply enjoying the outdoors, I cherish the connection with nature and the tranquility it brings. My Philosophy Central to my philosophy is the belief that no woman is ever truly alone in her journey. As a mother and a professional, I embrace the idea that support, solidarity, and shared experiences among women are powerful forces that uplift and strengthen us. Whether through the bonds we forge in our personal lives or the communities we build in our professional endeavors, the connections we make are vital. I am committed to fostering these connections and drawing strength from the collective wisdom and support of the women around me. In addition to my work in the food industry, I am a certified prenatal doula. These roles allow me to provide comprehensive support to families during one of the most transformative times in their lives. My certifications reflect my dedication to helping others navigate their birthing journeys with confidence and care. Balancing motherhood with my professional and personal interests, I strive to create a fulfilling and vibrant life for both myself and my son. My experiences in the food industry, coupled with my passion for travel, nature, and my work as a doula , shape a life filled with creativity, exploration, and deep familial bonds.

Our family wanted to express our appreciation for the love you showed Rizzo the first time we brought her in, on the phone with me talking about her terminal cancer, and finally when we had to say goodbye. You gave her scratches and kisses, said nice things to her. Our family really felt your genuine love, and that is important. Please don't ever change. It means more than you know. The whole staff was great, but you stood out. Again, somehow you helped us go through the process of losing our young baby Rizzo, the Aire-doodle.
