I was a Vbac mama with gestational diabetes planning for a homebirth…. Not something just any midwife would feel comfortable taking on. Kelli and Rachel however are SO qualified, experienced, and confident and that is what I loved most about them! They made me feel safe, informed, and empowered every step of the way. I love that they really listen and make you feel heard, and they were so great at accommodating my pregnancy and birth preferences. So grateful for them and the amazing birth experience I had. They took such great care of me and baby, and I would 100% choose them to be part of my birth team for any future pregnancies :) I included a picture to show just how wonderful they are, helping my 4 year old cut his baby sister’s umbilical cord in the comfort of our own home🤍

Bobbi is amazing! From start to finish, my experience with her was absolutely wonderful. I didn’t have a doula with my older two kids, but after those experiences, I knew I wanted one for this pregnancy. I am so glad I made that decision and chose Bobbi! Having her in my corner every step of the way made me feel supported, confident, and empowered throughout my entire pregnancy. Anytime I had questions or wasn’t sure about something, she was always there to help me understand, provide guidance, and ask the right questions when I needed more insight. I never felt alone in the process, and having someone like her by my side made such a difference. Bobbi truly is amazing, and I would choose her again in a heartbeat! Thank you, Bobbi, for everything you did and for making me feel so supported and empowered every step of the way. I am so grateful for you!

Cannot recommend enough!! I purchased the $1200 package. In the prenatal visit she made sure to ask me exactly what I wanted to be put in my birth plan wrote it up for me and made sure everyone had a copy. Kylie made sure to get to know me, ask about my previous birth, and make sure she had all the information she needed so when I gave birth her and I were both prepared. Kylie also texted every day the week before my due date to check in with me and make sure everything was going good. During labor with my previous birth without her, I ended up getting the epidural because I couldn’t handle the contractions. One year later, I am having an unmedicated birth with Kylie coaching me through every contraction for nine hours. She was emotionally supportive when labor wasn’t progressing and physically supportive with counterpressure. I had a nurse try to give me Pitocin after birth, which I specifically put on my birth plan that I did not want it and Kylie stepped in and made sure the nurse was unable to put in my IV. Kylie then stayed with me through the birth of the placenta and the first hour of postpartum Thank you so much, Kylie. I hope you can be my Doula for all of my future pregnancies

Marie Wood

Hi! I’m Marie. I am a Mother, Photographer, Certified Birth & Postpartum Doula, Certified Breastfeeding Counselor & Childbirth educator. My passion lies in the deep-rooted belief that there is an extreme need for birthing families to be thoroughly supported throughout their pregnancy, childbirth, and the postpartum period. After learning firsthand the immense value of having a doula, as well as a solid understanding and education of pregnancy and childbirth during my own experiences, I was inspired to help new families gain the confidence, comfort, and peace of mind that having the guidance of a doula can provide. I bring the experience of being a nanny for almost 20 years, a special education and early childhood educator in Montessori, as well as being a photographer for 20+ years. I am also trained in Positive Discipline. The skills I have gained by providing these services for others are crucial to the work I do as a doula. By working with many amazing families throughout the years, I have learned how to anticipate the needs of others and make myself available to them accordingly, which directly relates to my nurturing personality. I believe this is vital for a doula to possess. My clients rely on my peaceful, compassionate, loving, supportive nature to help them feel empowered, informed, and ready for this beautiful new journey. I currently reside in my hometown of Tucson, AZ after living in San Diego for 20 years. On my time off you can find me enjoying my time with my family, hiking, camping, working in the garden or just about anything that gets me outside and enjoying this beautiful planet we live on.

I cannot imagine my birth story without Marie. From our first meeting I knew she was a perfect fit. I had a scheduled induction for medical reasons and from the moment my induction began, she was the steady, nurturing anchor my entire family needed. Everyone tells you that Pitocin contractions are a different level of intensity, and I know for a fact I wouldn't have survived two hours of unmedicated labor without Marie right by my side. She was perfectly in sync with me—mimicking breathing techniques, providing hip squeezes, and offering the exact words of encouragement I needed to keep going. ?What truly makes Marie amazing however, is how she cared for my entire support system. My husband and mom both have knee issues, and my husband can get queasy, yet Marie made sure they were comfortable and involved without ever feeling pushed aside. She managed the 'roles' we had discussed prior perfectly: she empowered my husband to be my advocate and supported my mom in her role of comfort, all while keeping the peace and ensuring no one’s feelings were hurt. ?Even when nerves were high in the room, Marie’s calming energy was infectious. She even formed a beautiful partnership with our nurse, supporting him just as much as she supported us. Marie has a rare gift for making everyone in the room feel loved, seen, and capable. If you want a doula who is as skilled with physical support as she is with emotional intelligence and family dynamics, Marie is the one. She turned a high-intensity induction into an experience where I felt completely held and empowered.

As someone who has attended over 600 births, 56 post partum families and is a mother myself, I understand that every birth and family is unique and needs should be tailored to my clients personal goals. As a birth and postpartum doula trained in Ayurvedic traditions, I like to bring a holistic approach to my caregiving. Not only do my clients receive education around health and wellness in pregnancy, belly mapping for labor moves and partner centered coping techniques, they also get the pamper they deserve in post partum with massage and various broths for healing.

Ryah Jo is a treasure!! After a difficult labor and delivery, we knew we needed help. At first, I was a little hesitant when considering hiring a postpartum doula. But, after our initial zoom, my worries were quickly put to ease. Ryah was extremely patient and thorough, answering any and all questions while addressing concerns. She is knowledgeable and professional, but also has a lovely, calm, warm and friendly disposition. I was nervous on our first overnight, however, Ryah was such a gentle nurturing presence…a real natural with babies and an absolute blessing for us sleep-deprived parents!! Everything was logged, bottles were washed, laundry was folded—she even had breakfast waiting for me😇 Ryah helped my recovery go so much easier, even offering up tips and tricks making our parenting transition go so much more smoothly than expected! It went so well in fact, that we decided to hire her on for bi-weekly overnights. We were able to get the rest and support we needed while feeling peace of mind knowing our baby was in the best hands and was receiving the safest, most compassionate, loving care.

In the heart of Tucson, Mackenzie has been a guiding light for families embarking on the transformative journey of childbirth since 2019. Her path to becoming a full spectrum doula and postpartum placenta specialist is woven with threads of compassion and a diverse tapestry of experiences. Mackenzie's journey began in the realm of childcare, where she honed her nurturing skills as a babysitter and nanny. Her ability to create a safe and loving environment for children caught the attention of a special family in Tucson. Little did she know, this connection would set the stage for her evolution into a remarkable labor doula. As fate would have it, the family for whom Mackenzie had worked as a nanny found themselves expecting their second child. Remembering Mackenzie's exceptional care for their firstborn, the family not only welcomed the idea of her returning but also suggested the concept of doula support for the impending birth. Recognizing Mackenzie's unique talent for providing emotional support and guidance, they saw in her the makings of an extraordinary doula. Empowered by the trust and encouragement of this family, Mackenzie embraced the doula path with open arms. She delved into extensive training, eager to expand her knowledge and expertise. The transition from nanny to full spectrum doula felt natural for Mackenzie, who had already cultivated a deep understanding of the intricacies of family dynamics and the nuances of caring for newborns. Her background in group homes, experience as a camp counselor, and years spent as a preschool teacher provided Mackenzie with a holistic perspective that she now brings to her doula practice. Her journey from early childhood education to supporting families through the childbirth process allows Mackenzie to offer a unique blend of emotional support, education, and unwavering care. Since 2019, Mackenzie has actively served the Tucson community as a dedicated and compassionate doula. Her commitment to guiding families through the beautiful, challenging, and sacred moments of childbirth has made her an invaluable presence in the lives of those she touches. Jamilia Beasley

Hello! My name is Jamilia or Mila, and I am a Birth and Postpartum Doula with a deep-rooted passion for supporting families through the sacred seasons of pregnancy, birth, and postpartum. I’ve been a birth doula for 9 years and a postpartum doula for 5 years, and my journey began at just 20 years old when I was called to my very first birth while still in training. With no prior experience, I leaned into instinct—and I’ve been following that intuition ever since. Over the years, I’ve supported families through all types of births—hospital births, home births, VBACs, and C-sections. I also hold certifications as a holistic sleep specialist, which allows me to support parents with gentle, responsive sleep solutions that align with their values and their baby’s needs. When I’m not supporting families in person, I’m supporting them online through the Forpartum app—my labor of love, which I created and founded to revolutionize postpartum wellness. My approach is heart-centered and grounded in connection. I believe in building trust early, often beginning support around 20 weeks, and I strive to offer a nurturing, judgment-free space where every parent feels seen, safe, and supported. When I’m not holding space for others, you can find me enjoying quiet moments with my child and husband, diving deep into postpartum wellness research, graphic designing, dancing, hiking, building up Forpartum, or spending time in nature.

She was my Doula when I gave birth to my daughter. She helped me so much to deal with the pain and to process how to adapt to the changes that came with labor and delivery not going the way I was hoping.
