Jasmine Lacour

4 years of experience

Jasmine LaCour is a dedicated birth doula who has transformed her own personal journey into a passionate career supporting families through the miraculous experience of childbirth. Her path to becoming a birth doula began with her own transformative birth experience, where she discovered the profound impact that a supportive presence can have during labor and delivery. This eye-opening journey inspired her to empower other expectant parents, ensuring they feel informed, supported, and comfortable as they navigate the emotional and physical challenges of bringing new life into the world. With a strong foundation in trauma-informed care, Jasmine approaches her work with sensitivity and awareness. She understands that each birthing experience is unique, and she tailors her support to meet the individual needs of her clients. Her commitment to creating a safe and nurturing environment is at the core of her practice, allowing families to feel confident and secure during one of the most significant moments of their lives. Jasmine’s empathetic nature and attentive demeanor enable her to respond effectively to the emotional nuances of childbirth, ensuring that each family feels heard and valued. In addition to her doula work, Jasmine is also a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), a role that has further enriched her skill set. The experience she has gained in this field has taught her the importance of remaining calm and rooted in high-pressure situations, a quality she brings to her doula practice. By merging her trauma-informed approach with her background as an RBT, Jasmine provides a comprehensive and supportive experience for families, guiding them through the journey of birth with confidence, compassion, and care.

Hello! I’m so glad you’re “here.” ◡̈ My name is Holly, and I’m a full spectrum doula serving the Dallas–Fort Worth area 🤍 I’m currently pursuing certification with Birthing Advocacy and looking for my first clients! I owe my fascination with pregnancy and birth to my mom, who was always open about her birth experiences—both medicated and unmedicated. I’ve loved babies for as long as I can remember and naturally stepped into a caregiving role as the oldest of three. In college, I did research on improving maternal and infant birth outcomes, which sparked my interest in becoming a doula. I’m pro-LGBTQ+, pro-choice, anti-racist, and body neutral, so come exactly as you are! I strive to offer trauma-informed, personalized support for ALL. My work exists within systems that have long excluded and harmed marginalized communities, and I aim to use my privilege for good—advocating for equity, uplifting others, and amplifying their voices. Accompliceship is a lifelong practice, and I’m committed to showing up with compassion, humility, and a willingness to grow. If you’re in search of a doula and curious if we’d be a good match, I’d love to chat with you! 🕊️ Here are a few more facts about me: ❋ I have a Bachelor of Science in Public Health and a certificate in Trauma-Informed Care from the University of North Texas. ❋ I’m engaged to my high school sweetheart, and we have two sweet boy kitties: Apollo and Spectre. ❋ I love baking for my loved ones! I hope to one day share homemade treats and nourishing foods with the families I support as well. ❋ I’m a Virgo sun, Libra moon, & Capricorn rising. Also an enneagram 6!

My philosophy as a midwife is rooted in both extensive personal experience and dedicated education. As a mother of five boys, including two natural births, one of which was born at home, I've lived through the very experiences I now guide others through. This invaluable perspective, combined with my Associate's in Midwifery from the MEAC Accredited Southwest Wisconsin Technical College and a Bachelor's from Texas Tech, has equipped me to serve as a midwife since 2022. I believe in fostering a supportive environment where birthing individuals feel heard, respected, and empowered to make informed choices throughout their pregnancy and birth journey.

My pregnancy/birth plus postpartum journey and experience with Brittney has been exceptional. I’m so glad I got connected to her. Brittney is caring, a great listener, flexible, understanding, and overall provided my family and I an excellent service as my midwife. We connected off the rip and I’ve enjoyed our time together; she has truly become someone I feel comfortable turning to if I need anything or have concerns even after our visits have come to a close. After having my baby boy, she was there for me regarding all the questions and concerns I had with her very timely responses. We had great conversations, she provided great suggestions/advice, flexible when appointments had to change, helped me feel in control of my experience and so much more. If you are looking for a midwife to guide you through your pregnancy journey to meet your baby, Brittney Clay is definitely the RIGHT ONE for you! I absolutely love her😭💕

Traci Santangelo

Irving, Texas

Traci Santangelo

16 years of experience

With nearly a decade of experience serving women in the DFW area, BirthPointe stands as a premier women’s health and birth center. Our facility features three exquisitely designed birth suites, and our dedicated certified nurse midwives are here to provide compassionate care. Additionally, we offer monthly educational classes to support and empower women throughout their journey. Traci Santangelo MSN APRN CNM: Originally from Fort Worth, Texas, I received my Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Texas Woman’s University and started my career working in a local Labor & Delivery Unit. I then married a Yankee (don’t hold it against me), and he moved me to Detroit, Michigan, then to Miami, Florida, and finally to Chicago, Illinois—all for his exciting career. It was at the University of Illinois at Chicago that I received my Master’s in Nursing with a Midwifery designation and developed a deep desire to move back to the Lone Star State. I was tired of being cold! During that time away, I had two children (who have my heart completely), worked in some incredible hospitals as a Labor Nurse, and really developed a desire to serve women. Birth has always been my passion. I love every part of it! From the first positive pregnancy test, to watching a mother hear her baby’s heartbeat for the first time, to hearing that same baby cry at birth—I find all of it exciting and am in constant awe of how perfectly we are made to carry and birth a baby. I am a complete geek when it comes to the physiology of human development and can’t help but talk about developmental milestones because they are fascinating. Why wouldn’t you want to know everything about your baby?! I never tire of it. And I never tire of a woman’s need to feel validated, heard, and respected. You deserve that—you are a woman, for goodness’ sake! It is my great pleasure to serve women such as yourself at this time in your life. I want to give you the very best care I can provide, and I would be honored for the opportunity. Theresa Stryk MSN, APRN, CNM: Theresa grew up in St. Louis, Missouri. She moved to Texas to pursue her Biology degree at the University of Dallas, where she also played volleyball. She received her BSN from Texas Woman’s University and worked in Labor & Delivery at Parkland before getting her Master’s in Nursing from Texas Tech University and becoming a CNM. She is married to her wonderful husband, Logan, and they have two daughters, Julie and Helen. Theresa has had the privilege of previously working in a NaProTechnology office, where she gained valuable insights into the remarkable benefits of Fertility Awareness-Based Methods (FABMs) for so many women. Through her experience, she has seen how these methods empower women to understand and manage their reproductive health. At BirthPointe, Theresa is dedicated to continuing her mission of educating others about FABMs, promoting awareness, and supporting women in making informed choices about their fertility.
