On a more personal levelI love being outdoors, cooking and creating a safe and healthy environment through both creativity and knowledge. My life is also been deeply shaped by resilience. During Hurricane Katrina, while at a family reunion, my family suffered complete devastation losing eight homes. Despite this tragedy, I felt compelled to help. I was deputized by the Red Cross And remain in Louisiana for three months where I developed and lead a disaster assessment team specializing in logistics, a system still in use today. Strangely enough this experience is what first led me into caregiving a career where it is I have never felt more alive or purposeful. Were I do not hold a specific degree my education spans multiple international schools, including the American school in London, the American school in Hampstead. A suburb of London. I am one that’s practices, kindness, offers, love, guidance and embrace patience and tolerance, as mentioned above. I love teaching through art and making every day moments a learning experience. With young children, I narrate what I am doing, always asking permission and showing respect even with a newborn I will gently explain what it is. I am doing in every step.
