I have been in the medical field for 29 years. I owned care homes for 10 years. I always wanted to help expectant parents and babies. I work with our local pregnancy crisis center as well as the birthing center. I am not only a Doula, I also teach classes on what a doula means and how it can be beneficial for expectant parents. As well as also teaching birthing classes.

I left the nursing world after seeing the effects it had on laboring women and families having to build that rapport with the care team each appointment, shift changes and I did not like that. I want to be there with your family from start to finish, one less thing to worry about and one more thing to gain comfort in.
