A wife, mother of two, and proud Houstonian. Giving birth to my first child was a transformative experience. I quickly realized how much I didn't know about breastfeeding and the numerous options available to me during birth. This lack of knowledge was overwhelming, and I couldn't help but think about other first-time moms who might be feeling the same way. That moment sparked a deep desire within me to do more— to guide and support other women as they transition into motherhood. Driven by this passion, I became a life coach for mothers, helping them navigate the beautiful yet challenging transition into motherhood. But as my passion for maternal support grew, I felt motivated to do even more. After much reflection, I decided to pursue a career as a doula.

I received my Certification in Labor and Birth and Postpartum Doula in 2023 through The Midwifery Institute. I am also certified in CPR and First Aid. I have been married for 14 years and have three beautiful children, aged 18, 14, and 11. Over the past two years, I focused on my own family and did not take on any clients; however, I am now ready and looking to serve individuals and families in Waller, Magnolia, Tomball, and surrounding areas. I currently volunteer with my local pregnancy center helping to educate and support women and families that are expecting.

Hi mom and dad! I’m Lavi, a certified postpartum doula in newborn care specialist. I’ve been supporting families for over 8 years - with breast-feeding education, newborn sleep support, overnight care, meal prep, and lifestyle changes for high-risk pregnancies. I love all things, mom and baby and a mother of two boys myself (17 & 12). I would love to help you get acclimated to your new baby, get settled into a new rhythm, and feel confident in parenting. Feel free to reach out. I work with a team of trained, certified and background checked doulas and we are all here to help you build your village!
My wife and I really enjoyed working with Lavi. I reached out to her because my wife was very overwhelmed and I was about to return back to work. She came in our household and really helped my wife find peace. She helped our baby fall asleep on a schedule (which she is still on), she always made sure my wife had something to eat, every time I came home from work my wife was very relaxed and I learned a lot about how I can help. I think she made a huge difference in our lives and I’m very glad that she was able to support us.

¡Hola! Hello everyone, my name is Yasmin and I am a certified Postpartum Doula. I split my time between The Woodlands, TX, north of Houston, and Walnut Creek, CA, East of San Francisco in the Bay Area. I speak English and Spanish, we can communicate in whichever language you feel most at home with. I am passionate about the postpartum period, specifically the first 40 days, and providing care and love to nurture the mother back to health after giving birth. My passion is cooking and self-care. We will sit down together to plan menus to help aid in replenishing you and promote healing to your body during my time taking care of you. In addition to helping you transition to bringing home baby, I will fill your freezer with ready to eat meals to enjoy when I'm gone, focus on your rest to promote mental ease and relaxation, and provide an environment where you are being tended to and taken care of. My role strongly focuses on the recovery and healing of the mother. My interests in continuing to expand my abilities have directed me to continue my studies and expand into a holistic traditional approach to my postpartum work. I would love to be alongside you as you make your journey through this transformative time in your life.
I don’t even know where to begin, hiring Yasmin as my postpartum doula was truly one of the best decisions I made as a first-time mom. I had an unexpected emergency C-section, my family and in-laws live out of state, and I came home feeling vulnerable, sore, and overwhelmed. I had a lot of anxiety during pregnancy and it continued after having my baby. Yasmin stepped in and filled my home with warmth, comfort, and the kind of support I didn’t even realize I needed. Before I even arrived home with my baby, she prepared my space so it felt peaceful and welcoming. Walking into that environment after surgery made an immediate difference in my recovery. She even recommended supplements to help my c-section heal. In those early days, Yasmin made it possible for me and my husband to actually rest. Even thought my husband was working from home, I needed someone who could focus on caring for me and our baby. Yasmin was that person. When I was in too much pain to sit up, she gently brought the baby to my bedside so I could breastfeed or bond without straining myself. Those small acts of care meant everything during such a vulnerable time. I also struggled with low breast milk production at first, and Yasmin supported me with so much patience and knowledge. She made me special teas and the most delicious, plant-forward meals. I didn’t realize how much fiber and nourishment my body needed after birth, but she did. Her meals were genuinely healing — comforting, flavorful, and exactly what my recovering body needed. She was also kind enough to make several freezer meals for me and my family to have once she left. She listened, encouraged me, and created a calm environment where I felt supported, seen, and truly cared for. I can honestly say my postpartum experience, especially recovering from a C-section would have been incredibly difficult without her. Yasmin helped me heal, nourished my body, and cared for me and my baby with care. I am grateful for her and wholeheartedly recommend her to any new parent. Every new mom deserves help and support postpartum.

I have had a passion for the birth world for nearly a decade. It began in college when I worked as an Emergency Room Technician at a small town hospital. Although it was rare, we would occasionally have moms come in while in labor and I LOVED the excitement and thrill of the possibility of being a helping hand with a birth. This along with having midwifery care during my own pregnancies and births, eventually led me to began studying midwifery in 2018. During midwifery clinicals I was able to assist in many home and birth center births. I had the utter joy of helping mamas feel safe & comfortable, empowered to give birth in the way they desired, overcome obstacles, and see new life come into the world! I am currently taking time off from my midwifery training to focus on caring for and homeschooling my three precious daughters. This time off also allows me to venture into the doula world! As a doula, I will bring my knowledge of evidence-based practice and hands-on experience to educate, encourage, and support families in achieving the birth experience they desire. I have been a birth worker for 8 years and have 15 years of infant care experience as a professional nanny, postpartum doula, and educator. I am a mom of 4 crazy lovable kiddos (2015, 2017, 2021, and 2023) and I have personally experienced hospital birth and out of hospital birth. It was the care of 2 volunteer doulas during my first birth who helped drive my desire to become a birth worker. I am passionate about education as an incredible tool to build confidence and help birth outcomes. I believe everyone should have access to the highest level of education and care during their pregnancy, birth, and postpartum. This is driven by my belief that every person is born with inherent dignity, value, and worth and that women’s bodies are strong and beautifully made to birth their baby. I have a true calling to do this work and it is an incredible honor to be part of each family’s birth journey that I serve! When I am not teaching childbirth education or processing a placenta, I enjoy servicing at my church and all things musical theatre and fantasy. Two things that will always make me smile are dance parties with my kids and trying new restaurants with my husband.

Having Zaira as my doula was amazing. She came to my home when I was having prodromal labor and helped me do exercises that got me into actual labor that same night. She stayed by my side the whole time at the birthing center and looked out for my husband like I requested when she saw he was in shock after our baby was born. When I felt like I couldn't do it anymore she reassured me that we where almost at the finish line and talked me through to the end.
