Hey! I'm Nandi, and supporting families during their birthing journeys is not just my profession, it’s my calling. My passion for birth work stems from witnessing the strength and resilience of birthing people and my desire to create spaces where everyone feels seen, heard, and empowered. I’ve had the honor of working as a doula in various settings, from hospitals like Wellstar to community-based programs like Healthy Mothers, Healthy Babies, home-births and birth centers. Each experience has deepened my commitment to providing compassionate, personalized care that honors each family’s unique story. Here’s what you can expect when we work together: - Connection: I take the time to get to know you and your family, so I can support your physical, emotional, and informational needs. - Advocacy: Whether it's navigating hospital policies or exploring comfort techniques, I ensure you feel confident and supported every step of the way. - Holistic Care: As a certified yoga instructor specializing in prenatal yoga, I incorporate movement and mindfulness to help you feel calm and prepared. One of my most meaningful experiences was supporting women in recovery through Motherhood Beyond Bars, where I saw how vital nurturing care and a nonjudgmental presence can be. That philosophy guides me every day. I am trained as a Full Spectrum and Abortion Doula, so I can support you through any reproductive health journey with respect and compassion. Birth is unpredictable, but my goal is always the same: to help you feel empowered, informed, and cared for, no matter what. If you’re looking for a doula who will listen deeply, support you fully, and celebrate your strength, I’d love to connect with you.

Nandi’s has been absolutely amazing on my journey from pregnancy to motherhood! From the 24/7 availability she gives mothers to text her with any concerns, questions or just to vent she is right there and willing with her expertise. Nandi has been more than just a doula during my process. She has been resourceful for all of my prenatal and postpartum needs that I’ve been able to cover all bases of concerns with her help. She was also helpful in showing my husband ways to help during labor! If I were to have another child. Nandi would be my number one choice! Thank you for everything!

Chan was our doula the first 2 weeks of June since babygirl decided to come early lol. She was very understanding and flexible. The information she provided was very helpful, and I felt confident with breastfeeding after our time with her ended. We debriefed every morning after her overnight shift and all her updates about baby girl were informative and well detailed. I’m so thankful we came across her profile.

Earlier in my life, I was an ER charge nurse in AL. After moving to GA, I worked in several critical care aspects of the hospital system. After facing health issues as a family in 2014, I left the more "western" mindset of medicine and began teaching classes on nutrition, emotional health, and holistic medicine. After taking childbirth classes and having 4 natural births myself, I developed a passion for birth and desire to protect the sacred physical and emotional aspects of it. I am completing a doula certification with DONA this fall as well as teaching childbirth education classes in the Acworth, Kennesaw, Dallas areas. You can find more information on that on the www.bradleybirth.com site. I've got more about me and what I offer on my website www.myabundantbirth.com. If you have questions or want to connect, reach out! Blessings! Christie

My husband and I could not have imagined someone better to walk along side us through the birth process, especially for our first child. Christy is deeply knowledgable and an incredible leader. Me nor my husband had any issues getting questions or concerns answered with a vast amount of information, care, and prayer. Throughout my pregnancy, she gave me the knowledge and instilled the confidence to trust my body that it would do what it is created to do. If we have more children, Christy is certainly the person we will be calling! I had a precipitous birth, which Christy handled masterfully. We had a beautiful birth plan drawn up and everyone knew their roles. However, when push came to shove (no pun intended) Christy was able to quickly, professionally, and compassionately help us throw our plans to the side and was a wonderful advocate for me in the hospital when I was unable to advocate for myself. Though it was quick, because of Christy, I knew exactly what was happening through each stage of labor which kept me from being fearful. She was the thread of calm in the chaos of such a fast labor and made what could have been a rather traumatic experience a beautiful one.

My name is Janis Adams, I am a certified Labor Doula and I live near Atlanta. My background is in early childhood education. I am a mother of six and a grandmother of thirteen! I have worked in public school and currently hold a brokers license in Real Estate. Years ago, I went through labor and delivery with a couple I knew when they had their third child. Afterward both mom and dad thanked me for being the extra hands they needed! A week or so later T said, " You should think about becoming a Doula," you were so helpful! I thought to myself, "What's a Doula?" Since that time I have been involved with and supported many births over the years. The first time I ever went through birth as a support person was with my best friend 42 years ago; while I myself, was a week away from delivering my own first child. I have also been at the births of most of my grandchildren. I’ve also been there to assist, encourage and support my own daughters as they went through the birth experience for the first time. It was during the Pandemic that I enrolled and took courses to be come a labor doula. During that time the number of people that could be in the labor and delivery process was limited to just the mom and the dad unless you had a doula. One of my daughters and her husband were having their first child and they wanted me to be there. My daughter called and said to me that I had to become a doula! She gave me no choice! I am experienced with home births and water births. The things I do to relax are reading, gardening, sailing and traveling. Also, I have started a homeschool group and teach several students since the pandemic. In all, I have come full circle back to education but this time with adults and children!

Loved her, broke down everything very easily and went over a lot of experiences. Whether you’re at home, at her place or at the hospital. She’s indeed with you for the whole process. Even though my wife was the one having our son. Janis made sure everyone was comfortable and ofc I didn’t mind being evolved throughout the whole experience. I’m actually very pleased that Janis was our doula, and my wife loved her as well. Thank you again

Jabria was an amazing doula. As first time parents we weren’t sure what to expect going into the experience at all. The tool’s & resource she offered made a huge impact when it came to preparing for labor. Her support during the labor was like a ‘sounding board’ for my boyfriend to check in with, when it came time to make decisions for me and our baby. I also appreciate how she was able to stay involved without making any of our family feel left out. Her continued support postpartum has been amazing. Jabria is family at this point, we’re so glad to have found her as our doula!

oula work has always felt familiar to me—like something I was born to do. Even as a little girl, I felt deeply connected to the experience of birth and the sacred role of nurturing women through it. This work is more than a job—it’s my passion, my calling, and where my deepest love resides. At SoulexTheDoula, I am committed to serving all birthing people. I hold space for incarcerated mothers, trans dads with reproductive systems, and anyone bringing life into the world. Every soul deserves compassionate, dignified, and affirming care—and I’m honored to walk alongside them in their journey.”

Soulex the Doula has been incredible in mine and my child’s life. I wanted to leave a shining review but struggled even capturing the positive impact of my time with Soulex the Doula, in words. I really hope I do justice to what this time meant to me. Alexus post-partum doula support was life altering in the most vulnerable time I’ve ever experienced. I’ve had 2 children and only worked with Lex with my first born. Let me just say, her energy was deeply missed the second time around. I live in a different state now but at the time, Lex did SO MUCH. She helped with nursing, even in the middle of the night for my exclusively breast fed baby, she would stay over to make sure I had the most restful night I could. The baby would wake, and Lex would wake pick her up and latch her to my nipple while I rest, leaving me virtually undisturbed. Lex changed night diapers, and would rock my daughter back to sleep while I slept. During the day visits, Lex would take care of baby while I got time for ME. I could shower, get ready, and feel beautiful in such a strange time. Lex gave me support with getting back in connection with my body through movement with dance and stretching practices. I would have NEVER known this was meaningful work, otherwise. Lex also gave a lot of spiritual guidance and support as a medium while I was personally going through the shifts from new motherhood. She would clean my home, help me organize, or rearrange on a whim. It was nothing short of magical, and genuinely felt like I had a little fairy god mother around the house doing things without me even having to think about it - let alone lift a finger. The bond I watched her grow with my daughter at 4 months old was incredibly special. And now, as a 7 year old, they still stay in touch. We love you, Lex and you really feel like a part of the family for life. Thank you for you’re love, your care, your intention, your intuition, and your raw passion for what you do. From the bottom of my heart, Qui.

I feel so lucky to have found Karena to be my doula. I am new to Georgia and knew I wanted a doula to navigate the health system here (which does not have the greatest reputation when it comes to maternal health outcomes). I spoke with several doulas but Karena was the only one I immediately felt comfortable with. She is highly organized, efficient, responsive, and very calm (important for a high-stress person such as myself)! We had several meetings before my due date, including a session where she taught both my husband and I comfort techniques to use during delivery. This was SO essential because my labor ended up being very rapid (with no time for an epidural) and my husband and I relied on all the techniques that Karena showed us to minimize my pain. Karena was able to join for delivery and was such a calming presence. I am very grateful that I found her and would highly recommend her to anyone looking for support before, during, and after delivery. I will definitely be reaching out to her again if we have another child.

Hey everyone! My name is Alyssa and I am a postpartum doula. My passion with the birth experience came after having my own children, when I was able to truly understand the transformation that unfolds during motherhood. I love taking care of other people and have spent my entire life working with children. I am excited to connect with some families to see if we are a good match!

I honestly cannot say enough amazing things about Alyssa. From the very beginning, she made me feel prepared, heard, and completely supported. She helped me create my birth plan, went over every detail with me beforehand, and truly took the time to understand the birth I wanted. She stayed on call with me while I labored at home, kept up with my contractions, and came straight to the hospital the moment I called her. She was there through every part of my labor. She helped me with different positions, including the rebozo sifting technique, which was one of my favorites and brought me so much relief. She even brought the rebozo herself, along with a comb to help redirect the pain, snacks, drinks, and headphones in case I needed them. What meant so much to me was how intentional she was about creating a calm, safe space for me to give birth. She dimmed the lights, kept the room peaceful and quiet, and made sure the environment felt exactly how I wanted it to. She also made sure my husband felt included and supported throughout the entire experience, which meant so much to both of us. When I was exhausted and overwhelmed, Alyssa became my voice. She helped me understand what the doctors were asking, advocated for me, and made sure my wishes were respected when I didn’t have the energy to speak for myself. I truly, from the bottom of my heart, don’t think I could have had the dream birth I wanted without her. She gave me comfort, strength, reassurance, and so much love during one of the most intense and beautiful moments of my life. At this point, I swear Alyssa basically delivered my baby herself 😂❤️. I am forever grateful for her and everything she did for me. If you’re considering a doula, I cannot recommend Alyssa enough. She is truly incredible at what she does, and I feel so lucky that she was part of such a special moment in my life. 🤍

I am a full-spectrum doula committed to supporting the whole family — mother, baby, and partner — through every stage of this journey. Too often, families are sent home after birth and expected to figure it out alone. That can feel overwhelming and isolating. I believe you deserve more than that. You deserve education, support, and a community around you. When I say “village,” I mean real, practical support. You will know how to feed, rest, recover, and adjust as a family. You will understand what is happening in your body, what your baby needs, and what to expect during each stage. My role is not to rescue you. My role is to equip you. I provide tools, education, and steady guidance so you can make informed choices with confidence. I believe birth is powerful. A mother’s body carries wisdom. My goal is to help you trust that wisdom while fully understanding your options. I also support partners and fathers intentionally. I help them understand how to support mom physically and emotionally. I prepare them for the changes that may show up for them too — stress, exhaustion, uncertainty, or feeling unsure of their role. I help them feel confident, involved, and connected during pregnancy, birth, and the postpartum period. I am currently completing my certification through the Georgia Black Doula Network, strengthening my training in culturally competent, evidence-based support. I am passionate about advocating for healthy mothers and babies and strengthening Black families. I offer: Prenatal education and preparation Labor support Postpartum support Pregnancy and postpartum meal planning Cooking classes for growing families You do not have to walk this journey alone. Let’s prepare your family for a supported, informed, and confident birth experience.

I truly cannot put into words how grateful I am for her as my doula. From pregnancy to postpartum, she was a steady, calming presence during one of the most vulnerable seasons of my life. My pregnancy was high-risk and emotionally overwhelming at times, and she never once made me feel alone. She advocated for me, educated me, reassured me, and reminded me of my strength when I struggled to see it myself. During labor and delivery, she was everything — supportive, knowledgeable, attentive, and intuitive. She created such a safe space for me to feel heard and empowered in my birth experience. When my baby needed NICU care, she continued to show up for me in ways I didn’t even know I needed. She checked in, offered resources, and made sure I was cared for too — not just physically, but emotionally. Postpartum can be isolating, but having her in my corner made all the difference. She normalized my feelings, helped me process everything, and reminded me that I am doing an incredible job as a mother. If you are considering hiring a doula, please don’t hesitate. She is compassionate, professional, incredibly skilled, and truly called to this work. I would choose her again a thousand times over.
