⚜️About Me:⚜️ I’m Kailey Yeager, owner of Naturally Nurtured Doula Care LLC, wife, and proud mother of two. My experiences as a mother of a child with special needs inspired me to become a passionate advocate for families navigating healthcare, education, and community support systems. As a community-based, high-risk doula, my goal is to provide compassionate, evidence-informed support throughout pregnancy, birth, and the postpartum journey. I believe parents deserve access to accurate information, quality education, and trusted resources so they can make informed decisions that are right for their unique families. My role is not to make decisions for parents, but to ensure they feel confident, respected, and empowered as they make those decisions themselves. Beyond my doula work, I am deeply committed to advocacy. I have advocated for improved access to Early Intervention and preschool special education services, helping raise awareness of the barriers families face in obtaining timely evaluations, services, and support. I am passionate about ensuring children with special needs and their families have access to the services, resources, and opportunities they deserve. I currently serve as Vice President of the Brockport PTSA, where I work to strengthen partnerships between families, schools, and the community through volunteerism, parent engagement, and educational initiatives. I also serve as the Brockport Central School District TIES Program Coordinator, coordinating inclusive social and recreational opportunities that bring together students with and without disabilities. Through TIES, I aim to help foster meaningful friendships, leadership, and a sense of belonging for children and young adults of all abilities. Everything I do is rooted in the belief that education empowers families. Whether I am supporting an expectant parent, advocating for a child with special needs, leading community programs, or connecting families with local resources, my mission is to provide the knowledge, encouragement, and support that help families make informed choices with confidence.

Emelia Uwadia

Hi, I’m Emelia. It’s nice to meet you. I’m a birth professional based in Oshawa, ON, with a passion for supporting the whole person and their family through every part of the perinatal journey: emotionally, physically, and mentally. I’m currently certifying as a birth and postpartum doula with DONA International, a fertility doula through Doula School Canada, and a childbirth educator with CAPPA. This allows me to walk with clients through each chapter of their experience in a deeply personal and connected way. My work is grounded in the belief that this season of life deserves care that sees and supports the whole of who you are. Whether you’re preparing for birth, exploring fertility, or finding your rhythm in postpartum, I’m here to offer presence, warmth, and evidence-based support that meets you where you are. I know this time can feel like wandering into a forest without a map, full of beauty but also uncertainty. My hope is that when we work together, you feel safe to pause, to breathe, and to know you’re not alone. I’m here to hold space, to really listen, and to offer tools and guidance to help you move forward with clarity and confidence. You don’t need to have it all figured out. You just need to feel supported. I see you, and I’m honored to walk alongside you like a steady companion on the path, here to remind you of your own strength and inner wisdom. Welcome to the Fabled Family. I’m so glad you’re here.

Hi! I am a mother of 6, a doula, and a lifelong student of the art of caring for women. My own journey through motherhood has taught me that becoming a mother is not simply about having a baby. It is a profound transformation of the body, identity, relationships, emotions, and the way we see ourselves. This is what brought me to doula work. I believe women deserve to be cared for just as deeply as their babies are. I love the quiet, ordinary moments of postpartum life — making nourishing food, helping a tired mother finally rest, holding a baby while she takes a shower, listening without judgment, or simply sitting beside her when words are not needed. I am especially passionate about whole-person postpartum care. When a mother wants it, I incorporate gentle body-based practices such as restorative breathing, movement, self-massage, abdominal and back care, grounding, and relaxation. I don't believe in a one-size-fits-all approach. I meet each woman where she is and follow her needs, preferences, culture, and boundaries. My background in birth and postpartum care, combined with my experience as a mother and my love of learning, has shaped the way I work: deeply practical, deeply compassionate, and deeply human. I don't come into a home to tell parents how to do things. I come to help them feel held, capable, and less alone, while they find their own way. For me, doula work is not just a profession. It is a way of honoring the enormous work of becoming and being a mother.

Hi, I’m Nadine, a birth and postpartum doula, childbirth and lactation educator, mentor, and passionate advocate for informed, compassionate care. Since 2016, I’ve supported hundreds of families through pregnancy, birth, and the early postpartum weeks. Every family, every birth, and every journey is different, which is why my approach is never one-size-fits-all. I combine extensive hands-on experience with evidence-based education, practical preparation, and calm, grounded support. Through my Birth Confidence Method, I help families feel prepared, grounded, and empowered. You may not be able to prepare for every possibility, but you can prepare to meet whatever happens, and you deserve to feel informed, respected, and genuinely supported along the way.

We hired Nadine as our doula after feeling that we needed more support through the pregnancy and birthing process. Nadine was amazing - supportive, experienced and knowledgeable. She provided us with lots of resources, answered all our questions and when it came to the birth, remained calm and provided reassurance when things didn’t go to plan. She also provided invaluable support post birth. I firmly believe that everyone should hire a doula and if you are very lucky, you will find one as great at Nadine.

Hello! My name is Lauren, the hands on and heart led birth and postpartum doula in Durham Region. I'm also a big homebody who loves to read, craft my own tea blends, make natural skincare products and candles, and spend time in nature as much as possible. Becoming a doula felt like stepping into a path that was already laid out for me. I have always felt a fierce protection for other women, and connected easily and deeply with the women in my life. Combined with my interest in herbal healing and natural remedies, my previous work with and love for children and babies, my need to feed everyone I love home cooked, nourishing meals, and my interest in birth & the medical system, I realized that I already was a doula, I just needed to take the leap onto the path.   Early in 2025, I completed a 10 day doula training retreat in Costa Rica, which was a beautiful way to begin my new career. In the past couple of years I have been amazed by the women I work with, the births I have experienced by their sides, and the cocoon of postpartum. I love this work! I believe that birth and postpartum are some of the most transformational and impactful moments of a woman’s life, and they deserve to be positive experiences. Feeling cared for, understood, nourished, and supported are essential in the journey from Maiden, to Mother (and from mother of one, to two, to three…).  If you’re looking for a doula you want to feel cared for by, someone you feel comfortable texting “is this my mucous plug?,” and someone who knows how important the little details are and takes care of them so you don’t have to (like LED candles at your birth and a warm cup of tea postpartum), then hello! Now, Id love to get to know you.

Lauren is an experienced birthing rockstar. She went above and beyond for myself and our family. During a winter storm, a last min VBAC and she was there within an hour, no questions asked. Lauren is the best doula I know and I look up to her as a human.

My name is Keirstan Johnson, and I am a trained birth doula currently completing my certification through DONA International. In addition to birth support, I am a Certified Breastfeeding Specialist (CBS) with specialized training in lactation education and infant feeding support. As a mother myself, I understand that every pregnancy, birth, and postpartum experience is unique. My goal is to provide evidence-based information, emotional support, and compassionate guidance so you can feel informed, confident, and empowered in your decisions. Whether you're creating a birth plan, preparing for labor, navigating breastfeeding challenges, or adjusting to life with a new baby, I strive to meet you where you are without judgment. I believe every family deserves personalized support, encouragement, and advocacy throughout the childbearing journey. It is an honor to walk alongside families during such a transformative season of life, helping them feel seen, heard, and supported every step of the way. I currently serve families throughout Western New York and look forward to helping you create a positive and empowering birth experience and breastfeeding journey if that is part of your goal. I look forward to helping you with: • Birth Planning • Labor & Birth Support • Breastfeeding & Lactation Support • Postpartum Adjustment • Evidence-Based Birth Information • Trauma Informed Care I also am passionate about creating a village because motherhood was never meant to do alone. I work with The Village of WNY that has many resources and host free events for moms and their children called Moms & Littles of Niagara County!
