My philosophy is that every new parent deserves compassionate, respectful, and nonjudgmental support as they adjust to life with their baby. I provide calm, hands-on care tailored to each family’s culture, preferences, and individual needs. Rather than taking over, I work alongside parents, helping them build confidence in caring for their newborn while ensuring they have time to rest, recover, and feel supported. As a DONA-certified postpartum doula and certified breastfeeding specialist with a background in midwifery and a PhD in Community Nutrition, I combine practical experience with evidence-based guidance. I support families with newborn care, feeding and lactation, postpartum recovery, nutrition, and emotional reassurance. My goal is to create a peaceful environment where parents feel heard, empowered, and confident in making the choices that are right for their family.

Let me just say—it was truly a blessing to have found Reihaneh (Rey) Hadipour to support us on our newborn journey. From day one, she was an incredible help, especially for a first-time mom. Whether it was guiding us through different feeding positions, showing us how to bathe the baby, gently clipping those delicate little nails, or offering countless other thoughtful services, Rey brought both care and confidence to every moment. She comes with a wealth of experience and is truly a compassionate, skilled professional. We’re so grateful for her support during such a special and tender time in our lives

A calling that has been nurtured for 32 years. I began my career with children as a teenage babysitter. I have been fascinated by child development since I was little more than a child myself. Arriving in the USA in 1991 from Barranquilla, Colombia I was immediately employed by Universal Studios Child Care Center. This experience offered a wide range of infants to care for and deepened my desire to advance in my calling as a childcare specialist. It was in my interactions with various parents that I soon realized how what came naturally to me was frightening to some. In a very short time, parents were asking me to provide services outside of the care center. I was helping with establishing baby sleep schedules, nighttime care and creating baby routines for families. In 1998 I had met my birthing doula trainer and mentor Carmen of Gyntle Touch Birth. At Carmen’s recommendation I also became a certified massage therapist from Touch Therapy Institute. Immediately I offered my time as a birthing and prenatal doula to help low-income unwed mothers. This was my way of giving back in gratitude of my being able to pursue my life’s purpose and obtain a vast amount of experience with a diverse group of mothers. Over the last 32 years I have worked with hundreds of families, from birthing babies, preparing hospital care routines and directives, setting up nursery supplies, prenatal doula, lactation coach, night care, postpartum care, pregnancy and baby massage. Along the way I married and was blessed to deliver my own two children, with my mentor Carmen presiding as my birthing doula. A not so well-kept secret is that my husband and I are gourmet chefs, an additional service many families are excited to have made available to them. I consider myself truly blessed in that I am able to share in the most important part of a family. Incredibly, many of the children I have had a hand in raising continue to contact me throughout their life. I have had the wonderfully good fortune to attend many, confirmations, bar & bat mitzvahs, graduations from elementary, Jr. High, High School, College and recently my first Graduate school ceremony. I respect privacy and discretion, am able to travel, provide meal preparation and offer household management services.

We found Diana through Doulas of OC. She served as our birth doula as well as a postpartum night doula. During the interview, I immediately felt like she'd be a great fit for our family. As a first time mom I wanted someone with lots of experience and Diana came with so much! She came to the house for several prenatal visits to go over my birth preferences as well as provide education, and help prepare me - mentally and physically. She was so helpful in days leading up to delivery when I had questions I could text her or call her. Once my water broke she quickly came to the hospital and was with us until we were ready to go down to the Mother a baby unit. She was another set of ears and eyes during my birth that was amazing to have for me and my partner. Postpartum night visits were incredibly valuable. For helping ensure that my daughter was latching properly, to grabbing me snacks from the fridge in the middle of the night. She was amazing. And our baby now sleeps through the night which she started to do almost by 1 mo; I credit Diana for a lot of the legwork that helped our daughter gain the skills to do that. And she remains in touch which is wonderful. If we have a second baby, Diana will be on speed dial again. If you are able to use Diana you will not be disappointed.

Her care combines evidence-based education with intuitive, real-life support. Clients often work with Rachel for guidance around birth preparation, feeding, newborn care, postpartum recovery, household dynamics, partner communication, and creating sustainable systems that allow mothers to feel more resourced and less overwhelmed during the early months. In addition to her private client work, Rachel works in maternal health education and community advocacy, serves as a Fair Play facilitator, and is a health coach focused on the vaginal microbiome and women’s health across fertility, pregnancy, and postpartum. We feel so lucky that Maria has been part of our family for the past three months helping take care of our son, Cal, as a nighttime Newborn Care Specialist. She has been absolutely amazing, and we truly couldn’t have gotten through the newborn trenches without her! From day one, Maria has been so loving, caring, patient, and attentive with him. She has such a natural way with babies and somehow always knows exactly what he needs. It’s been so sweet to watch the bond they’ve developed, and it’s obvious how much she genuinely loves and cares for him. Maria has also been an incredible resource for us as first-time parents. She has so much knowledge and experience, but she never made us feel like we were doing anything wrong or asked too many questions. She was always happy to share advice, help us figure things out, and give us confidence when we needed it. She brought such a calm, reassuring presence into our home, which made a huge difference during those long and exhausting newborn nights. And somehow, thanks in large part to Maria, our son is already sleeping through the night! She helped us establish great routines and sleep habits while still giving him so much love and attention. We honestly don’t know how we would have survived without her. Beyond how amazing she is with our son, Maria is just a wonderful person to have around. She is dependable, thoughtful, kind, trustworthy, hardworking, and incredibly easy to have in our home. She always went above and beyond and made our lives so much easier. We always felt completely comfortable leaving him in her care, which is truly priceless. Maria has been such a special part of this chapter for our family. We are so grateful for everything she has done for us. She is truly one of those people you feel incredibly lucky to have found, and we would recommend her in a heartbeat to any new parents. Any family would be SO lucky to have Maria!

We had a very good experience with Emilia. She was caring, gentle, reliable, and extremely attentive to the baby’s needs. Having someone experienced and trustworthy during the night gave us great peace of mind, especially during those first weeks with a newborn. She handled the baby with great care, was attentive to her feeding and sleeping routines, and was always calm and patient. She was also very respectful of our home and our family’s preferences. We truly appreciated her experience, professionalism, and the warmth she showed toward our baby. I believe with every conviction that mothers hold innate wisdom to birth their babies. , I honor your intuition through holistic care and embodied practice—supporting you through pregnancy, birth, and the sacred postpartum transition. As your Sister in Christ, I offer faith-based birth support for those wanting so. We approach your labor as an act of worship—leaning on prayer and rejoicing to reveal God's strength and love for you. I am a community-first birthworker, passionate about making holistic wellness, coaching, and education accessible to women in my community. My work blends embodied childbirth education and hands-on support across pregnancy, birth, and postpartum. As a Birthing From Within–trained mentor, I offer education that goes far beyond information—our work honors the inner journey, emotional landscape, and transformation that birth invites. Alongside this, I provide holistic, nurturing care including herbal remedies, gentle bodywork, mindful movement, breathwork, and food as medicine—supporting the body’s natural physiology while tending to the nervous system and spirit. My Philosophy: Honoring the MotherBaby Dyad I intimately understand and uphold the crucial MotherBaby bond and believe in family-oriented care that follows natural instincts. This belief shapes every facet of my postpartum support and education: Attachment Parenting: I educate and support families in honoring bonding practices such as exclusive breastfeeding, safe bed-sharing/co-sleeping, elimination communication, and babywearing. Holistic Recovery: I offer nourishing, restorative care in the first 40 days, drawing from my training as a Postpartum Practitioner mentored by Pilar Chandler, Doctor of Ayurveda for Women’s Health. Lactation Philosophy: The Power of Human Milk I am deeply committed to the evidence supporting human milk as the optimal standard for infant nutrition. While I support all feeding choices with heart, my philosophy is rooted in the conviction that exclusive breastfeeding provides unparalleled protection and nourishment. This is not just "good"; scientific consensus confirms that breast is best for both maternal and infant health outcomes.

If you value both evidence and intuition, I might be the doula for you. I love helping clients combine research and their own instincts to make decisions that are right for them. Furthermore, I might be the doula for you if you want support without an agenda. I don’t believe there’s an ideal way to approach birth or postpartum adjustment. I’m here to understand and support whatever path you want to take.

It’s hard to put into words how grateful I am for Glo. As a first-time mom living far from much of my family, I was nervous about navigating the postpartum period, but after our very first night with Glo, I knew we had found someone incredibly special. Glo is incredibly knowledgeable, patient, reliable, gentle, and kind. She brought a sense of calm and confidence into our home during a time when everything felt new. She was always there to answer questions, talk through different approaches, and help us navigate each new stage with our daughter without ever making us feel like there was one “right” way to do things. She also went far beyond simply caring for our baby. Glo helped us set up systems that made our entire bottle prep, feeding, and sanitizing routine so much more efficient and organized. Whenever we needed additional support, she had an incredible network of trusted resources to direct us to, including a lactation consultant who ended up being invaluable to me. One of the things I appreciated most was how intentional she was about understanding our goals. Each week, she listened to what we wanted to work on—both in the immediate moment and more broadly with our daughter—and helped us turn those goals into clear, actionable plans. So many of the routines and systems she helped us establish have worked incredibly well for our family and given us confidence as new parents. More than anything, Glo gave me one of the greatest gifts I could have received as a new mother: confidence in my ability to be a mom. She never imposed her way of doing things; instead, she gave me the knowledge, support, and encouragement to trust my own instincts. She was endlessly supportive and brought such a gentle, reassuring presence into our home. When I look back on the time I became a mother, Glo will forever be a part of that memory. Her warmth, knowledge, patience, and support were more meaningful than I ever could have anticipated. Any family would be incredibly lucky to have her by their side, and I truly cannot recommend her enough.

We truly cannot say enough amazing things about Autum Rose! From our very first meeting, she immediately put us at ease. She came to our house for our first meeting, stayed over time, and took the time to explain the entire birth process in so much detail. As first-time parents, this was incredibly helpful and made us feel so much more prepared and confident going into our birth. Little did we know, my water would break that very night! Autum was immediately there to guide us through the next steps and answer all of our questions. She met us at the hospital the following day and stayed with us for over 30 hours. She was there through every moment of our labor, even sleeping on a little bench just to be close by and ready whenever we needed her. She came so prepared with massage tools, different labor positions, room spray, shower gel, and so many other little things that made such a difference. She helped us navigate each stage of labor, provided guidance when we needed it, and helped us have informed and empowered conversations when interventions came up. We always felt supported, heard, and cared for. One of the things we are especially grateful for is that Autum also took photos throughout our labor and birth. Having those moments captured is something we will treasure forever, and we are so thankful that she thought to document such an incredibly emotional and meaningful day for our family. Her care didn’t end when our baby was born, either. Our postpartum visit with Autum was so incredibly healing. Having the time and space to sit down and talk through our birth experience with someone who had been there for every moment meant so much to us. She also brought her massage table and worked on me, helping relieve so much of the tension and soreness I had been carrying. It was such a thoughtful and special part of her care, and we left feeling so supported both physically and emotionally. It is so obvious that Autum truly loves what she does. Her care, passion, patience, and dedication shine through in everything she does. She went above and beyond for us in every possible way, and we feel incredibly lucky that she was the person beside us during such a life-changing experience. We are so incredibly grateful for Autum and everything she did for our family. She made us feel safe, informed, supported, and cared for from the very beginning through postpartum. We will 100% be using her again and cannot recommend her enough to anyone looking for a doula. She is truly one of a kind! ❤️
