I’m a certified prenatal, birth, and postpartum doula who loves supporting women and families through one of life's biggest transitions. I start with listening, gentle advocacy, and evidence‑based care, always aiming to create a calm, connected experience. I also enjoy helping families plug into community resources that make the journey feel a little lighter. Outside of birth work, I enjoy movement and mindfulness activities like working out, being in nature, and creative design projects.

I had the pleasure of having Kamya as my doula, and she was amazing. From our first meeting I knew I would be well taken care of. She accommodated her time, she was always available whenever I had questions as well as having helpful material throughout my experience. Kamya has helped me with understanding the stages of labor and what was to be expected. She also gave me tips on how to better communicate with doctors during visits. During labor, I was able to stick with my birth plan with the help of Kamya. I wanted a vaginal birth, and a C section was brought up, due to my dilation not changing. I communicated this with Kamya she came to the hospital right away and with the help of different positions she gave me I was able to successfully give a vaginal birth. As a first time mom, I didn’t know what to expect, and Kamya made my experience one of the best. If you are looking for a doula I would highly recommend Kamya, she was great to me.

Hello! My name is Jillian (Jill is fine, too!) I am a Certified Birth Doula in the Metro Detroit area. Becoming a birth doula felt natural to me because I have always loved everything about birth and the strength that comes with bringing a baby into the world. Along with being a doula, I am also a Licensed Massage Therapist, which allows me to bring both physical comfort and emotional care into your birth experience. My goal is simple- to be there for you in the way you need the most. No matter what your birth plan looks like, I will walk alongside you without judgement- whether you're planning an unmedicated birth, epidural, induction, cesarean, or if things shift along the way. You deserve to feel safe, heard, and cared for throughout your entire experience. I want every mother and family I work with to feel at ease being themselves and confident in their choices. Birth is beautiful, but it can also be intense, emotional, and deeply empowering- sometimes all at once! It is an honor for me to be present with you through such a meaningful moment in your life. When I'm not caring for families, I am spending time with my two boys. We love going on adventures together and making memories whenever we can. Motherhood has given me such a deep appreciation for the journey of pregnancy, birth, and raising children. My boys play a huge role in why I care so deeply about the families I am working with.

Christina was amazing! I was feeling so discouraged with my breastfeeding journey after having mastitis a few times and she was able to help me pinpoint what the causes might be. After meeting with her and following her suggestions i have been mastitis free and truly enjoying my breastfeeding journey. Christina is so knowledgeable, personable, and caring. She took her time with me and baby and made sure all my questions/concerns were addressed. I immediately felt comfortable with her and would use her services again! I highly recommend her!!

I am a certified birth doula, VBAC certified doula, birth photographer, and mother of two. My own births, a gentle cesarean followed by a healing VBAC, deeply shaped the way I support families. I understand how important it is to feel heard, respected, informed, and emotionally safe throughout pregnancy and birth. I am also completing my Body Ready Method certification, which allows me to bring more individualized, body based preparation into my prenatal support. Two of the most important parts of my birth philosophy are true informed decision making and helping families have a positive, trauma free birth experience. I believe informed consent should be more than simply being told what is recommended. You deserve to understand your options, the benefits and risks, and the alternatives available so you can make decisions that feel right for you. Birth photography is also a deeply important part of who I am and how I serve families. Birth is filled with powerful moments that can be difficult to fully remember while you are living them. Photographs preserve the strength, emotion, connection, and small details of your story, allowing you to see your experience from a new perspective and hold onto it for generations. Whether you are planning an unmedicated birth, VBAC, induction, epidural, or cesarean, my goal is for you to feel confident, respected, supported, and at peace with your birth story.

Working with her was one of the best decisions we made during this journey. As new parents, we didn’t always know what to expect, but her calm confidence and clear explanations made all the difference — she never rushed through anything and always made sure we truly understood what was happening. Her opinions and guidance gave us a sense of confidence we didn’t know we needed. We don’t have family nearby, and she became that support system for us. Warm, outgoing, and incredibly knowledgeable, she made us feel completely at ease from day one — like we were talking to someone we’d known for years, not someone we’d just met. She was respectful, informative, and present in every way that mattered, especially during the birth itself. We couldn’t recommend her more highly to any family looking for a doula who will truly be in it with them.

I have nothing but great things to say about Debra! I was her client during 2024, and had my son in November 2024. I never hired a doula with my oldest so the process was as new to me and I wasn't sure what to expect, but Debra met me where I was at and guided me through the process so it was effortless. She was always available either by text or call and always checked in on me and made sure that I had any information and support I may need! I'm not in contact with my mother so Debra, being and mother and grandmother herself brought the motherly vibes which looking back is something I personally preferred Vs having a doula around my age. She actively listened to my preferences surrounding my birth experience and when the time came she was both respectful and thoughtful of my wishes. She advocated for things I didn't want in the delivery room for me while I was deep in labor. If you want a kind, caring, compassionate, reliable, and loving doula please don't think twice about hiring Debra you will not regret it!

Rochelle took excellent care of me. Prenatal and postpartum depression settled in and Rochelle was able to provide me resource and encouraging words. During labor she did not allow those doctors to play with me or my baby. My family appreciated her more than she knows.

— Kierra S., review of Rochelle Johnson August 2026

Jayce was my saving grace during my labor with my second child. My birth experience would have been a lot different if it hadn’t been for her. Jayce stepped in when my doula was unable to make it to the hospital for my birth. I was definitely wary of having a doula I had never met step in but Jayce was incredible. I unfortunately needed to be put on a magnesium drip for high blood pressure which bound me to the bed. Jayce showed up just as they had finished setting it up. I felt so defeated that I wasn’t going to be able to have the birth experience that I wanted. That I wouldn’t be able to move through my labor. Jayce helped me work through a ton of positions I could do from the bed and kept me moving which kept my labor progressing. She helped to keep things progressing by pressing natural pressure points. She helped with natural pain relief with counter pressure on my hips and back. She helped me to feel confident in my decisions when nurses and doctors pushed for further interventions. It’s very likely my labor could have ended very differently had Jayce not been there. Because she was I was able to birth my daughter without epidural while on pitocin. I cannot recommend Jayce enough. She’s so kind and brought such a calming presence to my otherwise stressful hospital experience. Thank you again Jayce for being exactly what I needed during one of the most difficult experiences of my life 🩷😊

— Jacqueline Mallia, review of Jayce Borowski August 2026

Christine is very knowledgeable and supportive! She has lots of resources and tools to help cope with contractions. I birthed in the hospital and she brought Battery operated candles and made the bathroom dim and feel intimate and relaxed. Her Oil diffuser was also a nice touch. She was a wonderful help to in making labor go as smooth as possible! She also offers additional classes and support for postpartum and lactation.
