I am a maternal-child health clinician with over 27 years of nursing experience supporting individuals and families across the full continuum of care. My nursing career has taken me through NICU, labor and delivery, postpartum recovery, maternal-child health, pediatrics, community health, and school nursing. In these roles, I have supported families through routine and high-risk pregnancies, medically complex births, NICU admissions, postpartum recovery, and the many transitions that come with welcoming and caring for a new baby. Hi, I’m Kolby, a full spectrum doula! I come from a big family and have always loved birth & babies. I have been working with children for the past 10 years. In college, I studied nursing (my mom is a nurse), as well as reproductive health. As a doula, I love being able to care for babies and help families adjust to this new stage of life. It makes me happy knowing I’m making a difference in someone’s home. Building relationships and trust with families is important to me, something I take seriously as your doula. Prior to becoming a doula, I worked as an overnight newborn care specialist, nanny and infant teacher– supporting babies and collaborating with parents.
