Gena was an absolute gift as we navigated the first few weeks of our son’s life. Having had a very difficult postpartum period with my first son, I did all I could to prepare for the birth of my second son which is how I met Gena. She was able to immediately put me at ease when my anxiety was front and center and helped me get centered when things felt extra difficult. She had faith in me when I wasn’t so sure and we talked about life and newborns striking a perfect balance of knowledge and friendliness that is hard to find. If you get the chance to work with Gena you will be all the better for it. I highly recommend her.

Hi! My name is Amanda. I’m a mom of four and a postpartum doula, and I truly love what I do. I love taking care of babies, supporting families, and especially helping new moms feel more confident and enjoy motherhood in a lighter, more peaceful way. I know that having a baby can be beautiful, but it can also be overwhelming, especially in the beginning. My goal is to make this season a little easier for every family I work with. I provide newborn care, overnight support, and guidance with feeding and baby routines, always respecting each family’s needs and preferences. I want moms to feel supported, get some much-needed rest, and know that they don’t have to figure everything out alone. For me, being a doula is not just about caring for the baby, but also making sure mom feels cared for, too. ❤️

This isn’t a review, but a thank-you. We had gone days without sleep, and Amanda agreed to support us with our baby, who was already 3 weeks old. Thank you, Amanda, because you brought calm and clarity into our home. As first-time parents, we felt lost and terrified, which left us stressed and anxious. You went above and beyond your job. You folded laundry so many times, without us even asking, that's mean a lot for us. You cared for my wife as if she were your own sister, helping her feel calm and confident in her journey into motherhood. Your diagnosis of tongue-tie was incredibly accurate. We can honestly divide our breastfeeding journey and our experience as parents into two chapters: before you and after you. Thank you so much for giving us far more than we ever expected.

We hired Jeremy Anne to help care for our daughter back when she was 9 months. She was with us for about 5 months. She helped with feeding, play, naps, walking development, baby sign, minor housekeeping items and offered advice with caring for a baby. She has a wonderful holistic approach with her support. She cares about ALL family members - humans and pets alike! We loved that she wasn’t a “transactional” kind of person, she really took the time to get to know us, ask good questions and offer personal care support when needed. She also went out of her way for many things. I will always remember how she helped develop healthy boundaries with our dog as we were adjusting to our daughter’s needs. The boundaries helped build a healthy relationship with our baby and fur baby! Our daughter enjoyed being around Jeremy and she misses her I think sometimes. Jeremy was very helpful with helping our baby walk! We keep in touch and recently shared how our little one is walking all over the place now! I wish we could have had more time with Jeremy. She is a blessing, she is so peaceful and calm.

Supporting birth is my life’s purpose. Growing up, I had the great privilege of attending the births of all 3 of my younger siblings. I was completely in love with the magic of pregnancy, childbirth, and brand new babies and families from then on. I have been a doula since 2024 and attended 60+ births since then. I’ve seen people birth their babies all different ways: hospital, home, birth center, water birth, unmedicated, with epidurals, planned cesareans, unplanned cesareans, twins, and VBACs. I see birth as a family centered event, no matter where and how it occurs. I am currently attending a local registered nursing program. After obtaining my RN, I hope to gain my master’s degree in nurse-midwifery. With my educational background, and passion for knowing the intricacies of the human body, I offer a unique perspective while providing doula care to my clients. I want you to understand your birth setting, your healthcare team and their roles, and prepare you for the different ways birth can unfold.

Maggie is a remarkable human being and Doula! With my planned C-section, I wasn’t sure how a doula would be able to support my experience. Before my son’s birth she provided a whole binder full of helpful resources and an easy template for creating a birthing plan. At the hospital before my surgery she was a wonderful advocate and made sure all my providers were on the same page. Her calming presence, along with the grounding exercises she lead, helped me go into my birth in the right headspace. In the post-op room she was there to help my baby boy get a good latch right away. Breastfeeding has been such a positive experience and I have Maggie to thank for that! I always looked forward to her visits as she is a true baby whisperer. Maggie was super supportive with tasks like nail trimming, pumping, bottle feeding, bathing, and holding the baby so I could tend to myself. I can’t recommend her highly enough!

Parents: please share your EDD & contact info in the message body 🙏🏾 Birth doula of 13 years. This is my calling in life to be of service to labor/birth. I’m very grateful to have this as my service in this lifetime and believe every new life is a gift to be honored with care, love and respect for the process. Trained in techniques that encourage optimal fetal positioning by finding balance in the body (more comfort during pregnancy as well as labor/birth) optimal positioning helps labor be more comfortable, increasing odds of a efficient and smoother vaginal birth. I share these techniques with my clients in the third trimester to decrease the use of interventions & prevent trauma. We had the most magical natural unmedicated birth experience in a hospital and we owe so much of it to Gretchen. Right from our first interaction when we were interviewing birth doulas, we were drawn by her warm nature. Her prenatal visits were extremely helpful be it the exercises she taught us to enable an optimal baby position for birth or her inputs into crafting our birth plan. We would have been lost with the information overload if not for her timely, targeted and super informative educational resources that have been extremely helpful to us as first time parents. She has always been a text or phone call away to address anything we needed. She brought in a sign of relief when she entered the labor room...her calming presence during my final stretch of labor and the positions she guided me through definitely helped me avoid an epidural. The icing on the cake was her singing a lullaby to our little one upon birth, it felt divine. She also captured beautiful moments of our baby's birth that we will cherish forever. I will always remember her positive affirmation 'You are stronger than you think!'. Can't thank you enough Gretchen for being the rockstar that you are and all your support to growing families :)
