Hi, I’m Priya, founder of Ashwariya Ayurveda and Maternal & Newborn Concierge™**. I am an Ayurvedic Practitioner and Nutritionist, Certified Birth Doula, Lactation Consultant, Certified Pediatric Sleep Consultant, and Lamaze® Childbirth Educator. After a career in finance that included Goldman Sachs and fidessa, I stepped away to raise my three children. That chapter shaped my purpose: to be the person other parents can rely on to help them thrive in their careers and family lives. Since 1997, I have cared for more than 300 babies, including twins, premature infants, and NICU graduates. My experience spans birth support, newborn care, complex feeding journeys, postpartum recovery, and childhood sleep. Each family has strengthened my commitment to care that supports both children and their parents. Your mental health is a priority in my care; I make space for honest conversations about exhaustion, overwhelm, identity, and the emotional adjustments of parenthood. Together, we create realistic feeding, sleep, and recovery plans that respect your needs and capacity. When additional support is needed, I help connect families with licensed mental health professionals. My personalized services include: - **Birth preparation and support:** Lamaze® education, Spinning Babies® and Body Ready Method® techniques, comfort measures, partner preparation, and advocacy for your preferences. - **Postpartum recovery:** Ayurvedic nourishment, belly binding, restorative bodywork, and attentive care during the fourth trimester. - **Lactation and feeding:** Weighted feeds, breastfeeding support, pumping and flange guidance, combination feeding, bottle selection, and return-to-work planning. - **Newborn and overnight care:** Experienced support that creates opportunities for rest, recovery, and confidence in caring for your baby. - **Pediatric sleep and development:** Gentle, individualized guidance from infancy through early childhood, including support for neurodivergent children. - **Family nutrition:** Nourishing meal plans tailored to your preferences, routines, and stage of life. I empower families with the knowledge, practical skills, and reassurance to become confident parents. Your parenting style, cultural traditions, and personal aspirations guide our work together. **I believe having it all is possible with the right village.** You deserve to feel supported as a parent while continuing to grow as a person, partner, and professional. I would be honored to be part of your village. **I accept Maven Health benefits and FSA/HSA payments, and I am Carrot-approved.** For other insurance companies, I can provide an itemized invoice with my credentials and National Provider Identifier (NPI) for you to submit for reimbursement, subject to your plan’s coverage. **Message me here on BornBir to schedule a complimentary consultation.** Certification(s): Member of the American Academy of Drugless Practitioners - Ayurvedic Practitioner Birth and Postpartum Sleep Consultant - Newborn Sleep - Potty Training

The Best Support We Could Have Asked For! We had the immense blessing of working with Priya for both labor/delivery and postpartum care, and I can confidently say she was one of the greatest gifts of our entire journey into parenthood. As first-time parents, the transition can feel overwhelming, but her presence brought comfort, confidence, and so much peace into our home. From the very first moment, she was gentle, knowledgeable, and incredibly nurturing. Her care is rooted in deep Ayurvedic wisdom, and she combines it beautifully with modern newborn support. She went above and beyond in every way. ✨ Labor & Delivery Support Having her with me during labor and delivery made all the difference. She was calm, encouraging, and present through every contraction and every moment of uncertainty. Her guidance helped me stay mentally strong and physically supported. I truly don’t know how I would have done it without her. ✨ Newborn Care She cared for our baby with so much love — from Ayurvedic oil massages, creating gentle daily routines, helping with gas/colic relief, and supporting healthy sleep patterns. Every single thing was done so thoughtfully and respectfully. ✨ Postpartum Recovery For Me She didn’t just help with the baby — she took care of me as a mother: - Ayurvedic belly binding for core support - Warm oil massages - Herbal teas and foods that supported healing and milk production - Emotional and mental support on days I needed it most She made sure I rested, nourished my body, and felt seen and cared for — something every new mother deserves. ✨ Food & Meals Her freshly prepared Ayurvedic meals were amazing. Everything was warm, nourishing, and made to help my body recover and build strength. You can tell she puts her heart into every part of her work. ✨ Family Support She guided my husband, helped us understand newborn cues, and even shared tips that made our whole home more peaceful and soothing for the baby. Her knowledge is priceless. If you are considering Ayurvedic newborn care or postpartum support, don’t think twice. She is truly gifted at what she does. She combines expertise, intuition, and compassion in a way that is rare to find. We felt protected, encouraged, and cared for every single day. We absolutely love her and are so grateful for everything she brought into our lives. She will always be a special part of our birth and postpartum story. ❤️

Hi there, Friend! I became a doula, because I realized my passion for prenatal care, birth, and postpartum support was not departing after my own experiences. My goal is to be able to help and support other women in my community. I desire to have them experience excitement and confidence in themselves that I hope leaves them encouraged. I have been through three pregnancies myself and have walked alongside many friends and family members journeys. I live in the tranquil countryside of Northern NJ, about 5 minutes away from the borders of Upstate NY and PA and only 90 minutes away from NYC! My husband of 10 years and myself were born and raised in Sussex County. We love where we live as it is quiet, beautiful, and allows us to continue our dreams of one day having our own homestead. We look forward to raising our three beautiful children here as well. As a collegiate business major and previous elementary/middle school educator, communication, organization, learning, and teaching are very important to me. Volunteering my time frequently allows my empathetic attributes to selflessly serve others and walk alongside my neighbors, peers, friends, and family. In my free time, I love being outside and active with people near and dear to me. I love to garden, take care of our chickens, cook, bake sour-dough, play board games, take hikes, and watch the occasional football game! When it is just my husband and I, you would find us reading or enjoying a nice conversation by the fire or outside in nature on the deck! I cannot wait to connect with you and hear about your journey into motherhood! Through communication, support, and love I am confident and hopeful to be able to come alongside you so you can experience strength, dignity, and laughter in all your maternal moments! XOXO

Krystal is incredible - she prepared me and my husband so well for birth. She educated me on so many facets of pregnancy that I was able to make educated decisions about what was best for me and baby! Just like I needed my husband by my side for the labor and delivery, I needed Krystal there just as much. Look no further - Krystal should be every expecting moms doula ❤️

I had the privilege of working with Marianne for the birth of my second child. Her ability to create a calm and peaceful environment was truly remarkable. DONA certified Birth doula, licensed massage therapist, personal trainer, Placenta Specialist and group fitness instructor, specializing in pre and post natal health and recovery. Hollie has had a love and passion for birth work for most of her adult life. After delivering her first baby 10 years ago, with the assistance of incredible doulas, she knew one day she would also become a doula. Hollie has been a massage therapist and personal trainer for nearly 20 years, working with pregnant and postpartum mothers, while raising her 3 boys. Once her youngest came to an age that she felt confident in moving into the birth worker world, she jumped in! Hollie has a deep passion for the amazing and magical experience of birth. She believes that every one who chooses to conceive, deserves the full support during this incredible time in their life.

I honestly cannot thank Hollie enough for everything that she did to make my first pregnancy and birthing experience EXACTLY what I wanted them to be. I knew I wanted to work with a doula even before trying to get pregnant, because the statistics on medical care during childbirth for Black women in the US are shameful, and I wanted someone to be present during my birth who saw me as a person, and not just a patient. I reached out to Hollie towards the end of my third trimester, assuming the most I would get is some advice on how to finish out my last few weeks of pregnancy because it was so late, but from the first phone call, Hollie was genuinely interested in me and the family that my husband and I wanted to build and how we wanted to build it. She immediately made me feel safe. Hollie provided me constant support and advice whenever I needed it, no matter the time of the day. I always felt comfortable to reach out to her and never felt like a burden. Hollie was there for the birth of my baby girl and she set such a peaceful and encouraging atmosphere for me in the delivery room. She interacted really well with the hospital staff and made me and my husband feel equipped and knowledgeable enough to advocate for ourselves during my labor. Hollie had a great balance during my pregnancy and delivery of checking in without being overbearing or causing me to worry. And one of her superpowers is that she did a great job of giving information objectively without telling us what to do or making us feel pressured to choose one option over another. She was so incredibly supportive of all of our decisions. In the end, Hollie definitely set expectations well, and then exceeded those expectations. I never thought I'd be so comfortable during childbirth, and that is all thanks to Hollie. I couldn't have asked for a more kind, compassionate, attentive and knowledgeable doula than Hollie. Even now that my daughter is here, Hollie still checks in and I am able to ask her anything. If I have the opportunity to have Hollie present at all future births, I will do so in a heartbeat. I recommend Hollie to every pregnant woman I know and I truly hope they listen. Hollie is the absolute best.

Hi there! I am Giselle, a certified labor doula serving the Hudson Valley. I bring over four years of experience in the healthcare industry, with a strong focus on serving high-priority and vulnerable populations, including individuals living with HIV, members of the LGBTQ+ community, and people from diverse cultural, social, and economic backgrounds. Through this work, I have learned the importance of meeting people with respect, compassion, and cultural humility. I have worked alongside individuals of many backgrounds and religious beliefs, and my Faith has guided me in building genuine connections across differences by leading with empathy, service, and understanding. As a Latina and first-generation American, I deeply understand the importance of education, representation, and support within vulnerable communities. This background allows me to approach birth work with sensitivity, inclusivity, and a commitment to ensuring that every birthing person feels respected, supported, and cared for. I felt called to become a labor doula after the birth of my son. Although my baby and I were healthy, my experience was shaped by an unexpected emergency induction. Throughout my pregnancy, I had taken the time to educate myself and prepare, yet in that moment, much of what I had learned felt difficult to access without steady guidance and support. That experience revealed to me how vital it is to have someone present who can offer reassurance, clarity, and calm during such a vulnerable time. My calling to birth work is rooted not only in my personal experience, but also in my deep desire to serve others. We often hear that it takes a village to raise a child, yet we frequently overlook the importance of supporting the person bringing that child into the world. My purpose is to help support the birthing person emotionally, physically, and informationally, so they feel seen, empowered, and cared for during one of the most transformative moments of their lives. - Others often comment on my professionalism, integrity, and strong work ethic qualities that have consistently helped build trust in meaningful and vulnerable moments. I am deeply committed to showing up with consistency, accountability, and care in every role I take on. Throughout my career in patient-focused industries, I have received positive feedback and recognition from multiple supervisors, as well as from spiritual leaders I’ve collaborated with on various projects. This feedback reflects not only my compassionate, client-centered approach, but also my dedication to excellence, follow-through, and long-term impact.

Katia has been my postpartum doula and caregiver for my baby boy since February 2025. She consistently takes initiative in ways that truly lighten my load as a new mom. One moment that stands out was when she noticed I was juggling baby care and chores—without me even asking, she washed the baby's clothes and bedsheets, took out the trash, and even helped cut vegetables for dinner. She always notices what needs to be done and jumps in with such care and thoughtfulness—it’s clear she’s not just doing a job, but genuinely wants to support and nurture. This was my first baby, and I had never used a doula service before, so I was initially skeptical and a bit anxious about having someone new in our home during such a vulnerable and emotional time. But from the very beginning, Katia made me feel at ease. Although she has extensive experience with babies, she remains open and flexible—listening carefully to my needs and respecting our preferences. She remembered all the little things I mentioned and adapted her care accordingly. Even now, with my baby being 8 months old, I still turn to Katia when I need someone trustworthy to watch him for a few hours. That’s how much confidence and comfort she’s brought to our family. Both my husband and I are deeply grateful for her help—having Katia as our doula has been such a positive and reassuring experience. She made a lasting impact on our early journey as parents, and any family would be incredibly lucky to have her by their side.

Hi, I’m Ryann, a certified birth and postpartum doula, childbirth educator, and proud mom of four. I live on Long Island, where I’m raising my family and serving growing families in the community I love. My journey into motherhood has deeply shaped who I am and how I show up as a doula. I’ve experienced firsthand the joy, intensity, vulnerability, and transformation that birth and postpartum bring; and I carry that lived wisdom into every space I enter. Before stepping into this work full-time, I spent 13 years in corporate healthcare and hold a Master’s degree in Healthcare Administration. That experience gives me a strong foundation in organization, communication, and advocacy - skills I now bring into supporting families with clarity, confidence, and care. I’ve always had a passion for supporting women - for advocating when they don’t feel heard, for empowering them when they’re unsure, and for holding space when things feel overwhelming or unpredictable. My mission is to remind every mother that they are worthy of care, choice, and support — no matter how their journey unfolds. Whether you’re planning a home birth surrounded by loved ones, delivering in a hospital, choosing a cesarean, or navigating an unmedicated or medicated birth - I meet you where you are. There is no “right” way to bring a baby into the world, and I tailor my care to support your unique story, values, and vision. Through Four Roots Doula, I offer evidence-based education, emotional support, advocacy, and hands-on care throughout pregnancy, birth, and postpartum. My role is to be a steady, calm presence - someone you can trust to show up fully, without judgment, with compassion and clarity. I am also CPR certified, adding an extra layer of preparedness and safety to the care I provide. Birth is beautiful. So is the strength that rises in you when you’re supported. I’d be honored to be part of your story.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about OS Care Service. From the very beginning, Olga made me feel supported, informed, and truly cared for. Her calm presence and deep knowledge helped ease my anxieties throughout my pregnancy and especially during labor. She provided not only physical comfort techniques but also emotional support that made such a difference in my birthing experience. Olga was attentive, patient, and always available when I had questions or needed reassurance. After the birth, her newborn care support was just as incredible—she helped me feel more confident as a new parent and made the transition so much smoother. If you are looking for someone who is compassionate, professional, and genuinely passionate about what she does, I highly recommend OS Care Service. Having Olga as my doula was one of the best decisions I made for myself and my baby.
