How these prices are calculated

Prices are the rates night nannies and newborn care specialists list on their Bornbir profiles. Birth doula packages are left out, because they pay for labor support rather than nights. So are hourly rates under $15 or over $200, to leave out package prices entered as an hourly rate by mistake.

The Mississauga figures count providers based within 150 miles once at least 5 of them list prices; below that the page shows Ontario or Canada figures instead. Medians are the middle price, ranges the middle half of prices, and per-night costs assume a 10-hour shift. Figures recompute daily, in CAD.

The cost of a night nanny in Mississauga, ON can be influenced by several factors:

  • Experience and Qualifications

Nannies with extensive experience, certifications (e.g., newborn care specialist), or specific training often charge higher rates.

  • Number of Babies

Caring for twins or multiples typically costs more than caring for a single baby due to the increased workload.

  • Hours and Duration

Rates may vary depending on the number of hours per night, the total number of nights required, and whether the arrangement is short-term or long-term.

  • Duties and Responsibilities

Additional responsibilities, such as bottle preparation, light housekeeping, or sleep training, can increase the cost.

  • Time of Year

Demand during peak times, like the holiday season, may drive prices higher.

  • Agency Fees

Hiring through an agency often includes placement fees or additional charges for their services, adding to the overall cost.

  • Overnight Rates vs. Hourly Rates

Some nannies charge a flat overnight rate, while others charge hourly, which can influence costs depending on the length of the shift.

When considering hiring a night nanny in Mississauga, ON, it's advisable to research and interview several night nannies to find one who aligns with your preferences, needs, and budget. During consultations, you can discuss their specific services and pricing structure to ensure you have a clear understanding of what is included and the associated costs. This process will help you find a night nanny who meets your needs and fits within your budget.

Hi, I’m Natasa. I’m a PNSW and postpartum doula with over 17 years of experience supporting families through pregnancy, postpartum, newborn care, and all the real-life things that happen once a baby comes home. My approach is calm, practical, and very much based on what your family actually needs that day. Some days that means caring for baby so you can rest, shower, eat, or just have a minute to yourself. Other days it may mean helping with feeding routines, diapering, soothing, naps, baby laundry, bottles, or resetting the baby areas so the day feels a little less chaotic. I’m not there to judge your home, tell you you’re doing it wrong, or make postpartum feel like another thing you have to manage perfectly. I’m there to step in, support you, and help make the day feel more manageable. A big part of how I support families is by noticing where things are getting stuck and helping create simple routines or systems that make sense for your home. Nothing fancy. Nothing overcomplicated. Just practical support that helps your household run a little smoother while everyone is adjusting. Postpartum can feel like a lot, especially when you’re tired, healing, feeding, learning your baby, and trying to keep the house from staging a small rebellion. My goal is to be another capable, calm person in the room so you don’t have to carry everything on your own.

Natasa helped turn one of the most overwhelming times in our lives into one of the most memorable. We felt supported, gained confidence as parents, and finally had the reassurance that we were doing okay.

Schevon Sandy-Mitchell

As a mother of twin girls, she knows firsthand that parenting can be both beautiful and overwhelming. She also knows the difference it makes when people show up with practical support, encouragement, and care that lightens the load. Those experiences inspired her journey into postpartum work and continue to shape the way she serves families today. Schevon brings a calming presence, a listening ear, and a genuine love for caring for others. Whether she's preparing a nourishing meal influenced by her Trinidadian roots, tidying up while you rest, holding space for the emotions that often come with new parenthood, or simply reminding you that you're doing better than you think, her goal is always the same: to help you feel supported and seen. Grounded by faith, gratitude, and a deep belief in the power of community, Schevon approaches postpartum care with compassion and intention. For families who welcome it, she's happy to offer prayer or words of encouragement, but above all, she wants every parent to feel cared for, strengthened, and never alone. Her hope is that when she leaves your home, you've been able to take a deep breath, get some rest, enjoy a good meal, and feel just a little more like yourself again.

Anna came into my life a few weeks after my twins were born in 2021. I was a first time mom of preemie twins. One with a medical condition. She provided my family with safety, comfort and care. From folding all of our laundry to tending to the twins throughout the night so that I could get some rest. Bottle feeds, diaper changes, bedding changes, nightly snuggles. She did it all! She literally sat on the floor between their bassinets to help sleep train them. She did night shifts a few times a week for me. It gave me the support I needed to be able to get through those early days with twins. Anna, we will be forever grateful for your care and support.

Having Jennifer by my side during my pregnancy and birth was one of the best decisions I made. Hi there! My journey as a birth and postpartum doula began with a simple yet powerful realization: too many families face parenthood weighed down by fear, doubt, and isolation. My work is about helping you build confidence, trust your instincts, and embrace the beautiful, imperfect journey of parenthood with peace and strength. From the very first flutter of possibility through the tender, tiring, beautiful early days of parenthood, my team and I aim to be the bridge that helps families feel supported, informed, and empowered. My approach to birth blends practical knowledge with heartfelt care—nurturing nutrition, mindset preparation, and gentle body movement—so every family feels ready, capable, and never alone. When I'm not serving as a doula, you'll find me nose-deep in a book, wandering through nature, or soaking up time with my own family—the very thing that inspired this work in the first place.

Fiona was absolutely amazing! She prepared us so much for postpartum that we had minor issues. During my labour she was the reason I felt supported enough for my husband to deliver our baby, she also did prep with him beforehand and everyone was raving about how well he did! We had a beautiful experience, she made me feel so safe. I couldn’t have gotten through my labour so well without her. I had an absolutely beautiful stress free home birth with her. We will definitely be booking her for the next 😅☺️

Jen was our doula for the birth of our first child in April 2026. We had a wonderful experience with her throughout. She has a very relaxed, reassuring energy. Mama Bear is the perfect way to describe her vibe! Our first 2 meetings were great and she had information about everything we asked (and more!) She also sent follow up emails with lots of resources for us to look through after our initial sessions. In the final weeks leading up to the birth, she was very communicative and checked in frequently. She was very reassuring when I was having concerns and fears, and she really helped me to manage the anxiety I was feeling about childbirth. Jen also helped walk us through making an informed consent document (birth plan), but also supported us when we decided on something different in the moment while I was in labour. During early labour, she came to our home and helped support both my husband and I with various positions, counter pressure, pain management, and decision making. She accompanied us to the hospital, helped us settle in, and came back after I had rested for several hours. She arrived before the birth and was a strong advocate for me with the midwives and hospital staff, and it took a lot of pressure off of my husband (who was already doing so much to help). It was so helpful to have someone who was familiar with the birthing process and hospital by our side for support. Jen's postpartum visit was so lovely! Seeing her again in a relaxed way after such intensity was really special. She held the baby and gave us some tips and advice on what to expect in the coming weeks. I expect we will ask her for some extra post-partum visits once my husband is back at work. What an amazing woman to have involved with our baby's life. We are so lucky to have found her. We would wholeheartedly recommend her to anyone looking for doula support. Thank you, Jen!
