Hey! I am Violet. I was born and raised in Humboldt County CA. I moved to Los Angeles when I was 22, over 10 years ago! I originally worked in the lighting entertainment industry but made a transition to become a doula. Lights are cool and pretty and exciting! But being a doula is fulfilling. Helping families grow and adjust to this new normal is something I am passionate about. I provide non-judgmental and honest care and information during one of your families most vulnerable times. I will not judge your parenting or birth style or choices. I will never lie to you. I am here to help. My mission is to empower new parents as they transition into parenthood. When I am done providing my services my goal is to walk away with you feeling confident, relaxed, happy with your birth, and ready to take on this new life called parenthood! Everyone deserves a doula who understands who they are, listens to what they need, and comes with an open heart and an open mind. I hope to be that doula for you! I am trying to get certified and I need your help! Not being certified does not mean I am not trained. It just means I can not accept insurance. Families who agree to helping me get certified will get the service for 50% off in exchange! Offer available to three birth families! For more information, Just ask! I am a first time single mom and was worried about taking care of my daughter Emma, alone and recovering from birth at the same time. Violet helped me with both night and day shifts. Violets day shifts depended on my needs for the day. Some days she was just happy to make me lunch and do laundry for me and Emma. Some days I needed some time alone and she was there to do tummy time with Emma, put her down for naps, and sing to her. When she was on nights she was there to burp, change, and settle the baby down again after I breast fed her so I was able to sleep a little more. She always had cleaned any bottles she would use by the morning and would make us both coffee before I got up. She even gave me a slight discount knowing I didn't have a two income household witch helped me a lot in the long run.

I am a perinatal and birth doula, and currently obtaining my certification as a childbirth educator! I am deeply passionate about walking alongside families as they journey through the many transformations of pregnancy and birth. I truly believe in the power of community, nourishment, and intentional support, and I thrive on creating a safe and empowering space where you and your partner feel heard and cared for. My goal is to always help you feel confident, grounded, and celebrated in every step of your story! I also know that strong connection begins with clear communication. I love getting to know my clients through friendly phone calls, heartfelt in-person meetings, video and FaceTime calls as well as regular text check-ins…Really, any method that is most supportive to you. Open, honest conversations are at the center of our work together, ensuring you always feel comfortable and informed. My practice is rooted in both personal passion and professional training. I completed my birth doula training with Bini Birth in Sherman Oaks, California in 2022. I continue to expand my knowledge through additional certificates in areas such as basic lactation support, childbirth education, and CPR/First Aid. This fall, I will be an internationally certified birth doula and childbirth educator through ICEA (International Childbirth Education Association). I'm so excited to offer this new level of knowledge to my clients! These trainings, along with specialized workshops like comfort care support, holistic wellness, and childbirth physiology all keep me current and I'm always learning more! I work hard to blend evidence-based guidance with compassionate, individualized support—always meeting families where they are with care that feels both informed and deeply human!

We feel incredibly lucky to have had Angela as our doula because our birth experience (including all the prenatal touch points and postpartum) would not have been the same or as positive without her as we recently welcomed our baby boy. We immediately hit it off after facetiming (we found Angela via Doula Match) - Angela exudes such a calming and grounding presence and is the perfect balance of bringing evidence based knowledge/approaches and positivity. She was super flexible and catered to our needs and wants throughout it all. We had an induction birth and leading up to it, Angela provided so many helpful resources (e.g. referrals, videos, articles etc) to help me prepare and supplemented any gaps I felt I had with my OB. During my labor, Angela had ALL the tricks and tools handy to help me get through the physical and mental pain and was right by our side throughout it all providing words of encouragement and also fit in perfectly with our care team (e.g. getting me into different positions, advocating for me to have time to labor down before pushing). It was such a mental relief walking into the induction knowing she was going to be there to support me and my husband as it was my first time delivering. I really can't think of a single negative or constructive thing to say about Angela - she was the absolute best decision and a small part of me wishes I was still pregnant to be working with her ha! Angela is worth every penny as a doula and you will walk away with a friend as well. Can't recommend her enough! THANK YOU ANGELA!!

Hello, my name is Stella! I am eager to support you throughout your reproductive journey, from early planning to postpartum. My main role as a doula and educator is to provide you and your family unit with evidence-based information, guide you to make intuitive decisions, provide your physical body with healing touch and pain-relieving techniques, and support the co-regulation of your nervous system through listening, breathwork, continuity of care, and tenderness during any phase of your reproductive journey. I am originally from Bellingham, Washington and now live in Los Angeles, California. I have a strong belief that birthing people deserve the care, information, and support they desire. I am passionate and fierce about this work, while providing much needed humor and levity. I am committed to assisting you in getting the resources you need, whether that be working with me or providing sufficient referrals. As a queer person, I am eager to support queer, trans, and gender non-conforming families through their pregnancy, birthing, and postpartum journies. Some things I like are writing poetry and reading books, going outside and laying in the sun like a lizard, trying a new craft, listening to Britney Spears, baking something and putting cardamom in it, learning about ecology and religious philosophies, making lists, going to estate sales, being kind to strangers, and looking at the stars when camping.

My husband and I are so happy with Sophie. She’s an excellent doula, a wonderful person, and we consider her part of our family. We are first time parents and she has such a steady, comforting, kind presence that’s been crucial to helping us get through some tough days. We (and our dog, she loves Sophie) are always glad to see Sophie walk through the door. Sophie has also helped me with my breastfeeding journey - honestly, it’s not something that I’ve enjoyed overall, and she’s helped me clarify why I’m doing it and what can be done to make it easier. I’m still pumping and wouldn’t have made it this far without her. Sophie is also super thorough and documents in detail how each night goes with our daughter. I’ve changed up my daughter’s feeding routine several times with different supplements and breastmilk/formula combinations based on her gas and fussiness. Sophie is flexible and always willing to try a new routine, offering her thoughts based on what she sees at night, and is patient with me every time I want to mix it up :). In sum, we love Sophie and trust her completely with our daughter. I'm now pregnant with my second, and am obviously using Sophie as part of our dream team once again!

Hi, I’m Charlotte! I’m a birth doula and maternal health advocate based in Los Angeles. The word “doula” comes from the In Greek word, δούλα which means “woman who serves” and I live this wholeheartedly. My doula approach is deeply attuned to you. This is your experience. As a 200hr trained yoga teacher, I weave in movement, breath work, and mindfulness, while staying rooted in evidence-based care. I’m research obsessed! I studied at Brown University for college and I am passionate about education and maternal health advocacy. I remain closely engaged with current research and continue my education through ongoing trainings and workshops. I am committed to showing up for my LA community. Alongside my doula practice, I serve as a Client Coordinator at Joy in Birthing Foundation, helping connect under-resourced families with doula support across Los Angeles. I offer pro bono care through organizations like Harvest Home and within the foster care system. Outside of birth work, you can find me with a coffee in hand in Silver Lake, in a yoga or barre class, knitting, or hiking in Griffith Park. I wake up everyday feeling deeply grateful to be a doula and serving the women and people around me in such a transformative time in their lives. I have the deepest appreciation and respect for each person I support. It would be an honor to support you and your family wherever you’re at in the journey. I want to hear about your biggest wishes and dreams for your birth and postpartum experience — it can all be creative, imaginative, and beautiful. Let’s connect!

Our experience with Charlotte was comfortable, compassionate and seamless. Charlotte is an outstanding doula with the on hand experience and advice that you need to feel confident, heard, and safe during what’s undoubtedly the scariest thing you’ve ever been through. Whether it was on hand at home before delivery, during labor, when it came time to push, and after the miracle - Charlotte is on it. Whether it’s holding a leg and counting breaths, gathering all the information and keeping tabs on the names of nurses or getting coconut water and helping with your hair- Charlotte has it covered. We love Charlotte; her ability to coordinate and manage the web of actions needed to help us deliver with confidence is incredible. Thank so much
