Alondra Matamoros (she/her), a bilingual full-spectrum doula from Queens, NY, received her certification from Bebo Mia Inc. in 2022. With experience as a Doula and Prenatal Coordinator at Community Healthcare Network, she has provided comprehensive support to individuals through prenatal care, birth preparation, postpartum and lactation assistance. Alondra has further enriched her expertise through work with Public Health Solutions, honing her skills in community-centered care. Drawing from her Salvadoran and Dominican roots, Alondra takes a holistic approach, focusing on nurturing the mind, body, and spirit throughout the reproductive and parenting journey. Alondra welcomed her first child in Boston, Massachusetts were she transition into full time doula work.

As a doula, I’ve had the privilege of supporting families through a wide variety of birth experiences, including inductions, unmedicated and medicated births, cesarean births, VBAC/TOLAC, and high-risk pregnancies. I especially enjoy working with Spanish-speaking families and helping bridge language and communication gaps so that they feel heard, understood, and actively involved in their care. My approach is warm, calm, educational, and judgment-free. I believe there is no single “right” way to give birth or navigate postpartum. My role is to help families understand their options, advocate for their preferences, and feel supported in the decisions that are right for them. In addition to my work as a birth and postpartum doula, I am currently furthering my education by completing certifications as a Newborn Care Specialist and Infant Sleep Consultant. I’m excited to continue expanding the support I can offer families beyond birth and into the newborn period, including newborn care, parental education, postpartum adjustment, and healthy sleep foundations. It is truly an honor to be welcomed into such an important and intimate chapter of a family’s life, and I strive to make every family I work with feel cared for, respected, and never alone in the process.

Hi! I'm Naomi. I am a Certified Practitioner Midwife choosing to focus on providing birth and postpartum doula support. I keep my Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and Neonatal Resuscitation (NRP) cards active at all times. I am currently in the process of becoming certified as a postpartum doula. I believe that if women/birthing persons and their babies were truly supported in the way they most need, we would have peace on Earth. I decided to become a midwife and doula because I want to make the world a better place, and I believe the way to do that is to bring compassionate support to mothers and their babies. I received my training through Maternidad La Luz (birth center on the US/Mexico border) and the Childbirth and Postpartum Professional Association (CAPPA). I received my full spectrum doula certification from Birthing Advocacy Doula Trainings in 2023 and I have been supporting families in this period of life for years. Ashley's journey into the realm of motherhood was marked by challenges, particularly with postpartum anxiety following the birth of her son. The experience, not aligning with her envisioned childbirth, significantly impacted her postpartum transition. This prompted Ashley to delve into the intricacies of childbirth, recognizing a pressing need for maternal support during both the birthing process and postpartum period.Motivated by her own transformative experience, Ashley decided to pursue a homebirth with her daughter, finally obtaining the birthing and postpartum support she had sought. This pivotal moment inspired her to undergo comprehensive training as a birth and postpartum doula. Ashley's commitment to her role is evident in her diverse training background, including certifications from CAPPA, Newborn Mothers Collective, and Birth Arts International. Ashley is currently undergoing training to become an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) and is actively accepting clients under the guidance of her mentor.
