Laurine was absolutely fantastic. She is extremely responsible, prompt, and very hard-working. In the short time that she helped us with our son, she helped us with her knowledge of sleep training and could not have been more loving and warm towards our newborn. She was extremely helpful in the downtime when the baby was sleeping with things that I needed help with which made my life so much easier. I would highly recommend her!

I am a 34 year old Florida native who has had a passion for babies since I was practically just a baby myself. My nursing career began in 2015 when I worked on an adult PCU (ICU step-down) floor at AdventHealth Hospital in Altamonte Springs. After a few years gaining my skills, I transitioned to postpartum care and eventually accepted a position as a Team Leader of the Mother Baby Unit at AdventHealth in Tampa. I was a full-time charge nurse; coordinating between Labor & Delivery, Women’s Care, NICU, and the Postpartum Unit. I was also responsible for all of the initial assessments for babies born during my night- shifts. I loved this role and gained so much experience caring for new moms and babies. In 2023, after working through the pandemic, I decided to take a leap of faith and jump into the world of concierge (private-hire) nursing. I initially started working for a local night-nurse agency until I eventually developed an organic word-of-mouth clientele of my own. I have spent the last 3 years working with 18 different families (references available) as they welcomed new little lives into the world. I take great pride in my work and hope to bring a sense of calm and peace to your home during a time that is often a bit chaotic and anxiety-inducing. I have worked nights since the very beginning of my nursing career, so you can rest peacefully knowing there is someone used to the all-nighters caring for your newborn.

Having Allison as our night nurse was such a blessing for my husband and I. As first time parents we were nervous to leave our precious newborn with someone new while we tried to get some much needed rest, but from day 1 she was confident, capable, compassionate and kind. Allison was always respectful of our requests, but knew when to offer suggestions based on her experience. We learned so much from her and knew we could ask her anything. It was like having a best friend in your house that helped guide you in a new phase of life and we are forever grateful for her partnership.

About Me I’m a birth and postpartum doula who’s passionate about helping families feel supported, heard, and confident throughout their journey into parenthood. I am also a mom to two little girls & have experience myself in medicated hospital birth & home birth. I believe birth looks different for everyone, and there’s no one “right” way to do it. Whether you’re planning an unmedicated birth, home birth, an epidural, or a cesarean, I’m here to support your choices, cheer you on, and make sure you feel cared for every step of the way. How I Support You We’ll spend 2–3 prenatal visits getting to know each other, talking through your birth preferences, and practicing comfort measures so you feel ready for the big day. When labor begins, I’ll be right there with calm, steady support, helping you navigate each moment while following your lead. My hope is that you walk away from your birth feeling heard, respected, and supported, knowing you had someone by your side who genuinely cared about your experience.❤️

For someone as neurotic as me, Alexa helped make my birthing process sooooo much better. Alexa listened with intention and care, validating every single one of my concerns and quirks with warmth and professionalism. She honored my birth plan with immaculate precision (down to every little detail I had mapped out) and still managed to create a nurturing, peaceful, and empowering space that helped me feel safe, supported, and seen. Alexa brought both calm and confidence into the delivery room. Her presence is so grounding and calm! Which is exactly what I needed (and she knew). I can’t recommend her enough. If you’re looking for someone who blends knowledge with soulful, heart-centered support, Alexa is a perfect doula for you.
