My name is Allison and I am your Unconquered Mama. I am a wife and mother to two beautiful little girls. It was during my first pregnancy that I started to have a desire to get into birth work. I noticed right away that pregnant and postpartum Mamas needed much more support than they were getting. Immediately after my traumatic pregnancy and postpartum period with my youngest daughter I knew it was time for me to step into a new role; so I became a Doula and Breastfeeding Educator so that no other Mama would have to go through the struggles that I went through. I want to help every Mama feel the way I did when I broke through my struggles and emerged UNCONQUERED!

Motherhood it’s simply fascinating. All of my life I’ve been intrigued by it, and after having my first five children I decided to begin this journey as a Doula - and we have since added two more babies to our bunch. It is an honor and privilege to be the laboring mama‘s support as she transitions into the season of motherhood. Through my own experience, as well as experience of the women in my life, I have learned how very different many women can react to labor. There are lots of strategies and techniques to get through each contraction, and I just love empowering women to allow their bodies to do just that. My third child being an unassisted birth. I specialize in unmedicated births but I also attend hospital births because I believe it’s your birth and you should be able to choose what you want for it.
