Hi, I’m Sheila. I’m a faith based birth & postpartum doula, photographer, and most importantly, a mom who knows how deeply personal this season of life can be. Becoming a mother myself changed the way I see birth. I remember the emotions, the questions, the vulnerability, and the overwhelming feeling of wanting someone beside you who simply gets it. That experience is what led me to doula work — because I wanted to become the person I wish every mother could have in her corner: someone who listens without judgment, stays calm when things feel overwhelming, helps you understand your options, and reminds you of your strength when you need it most. With over six years of experience working with children and families, professional doula training, continued mentorship, and my own experience as a mom, I bring both knowledge and genuine heart into the room. I’m not there to take over your birth or tell you how it should go — I’m there to learn you, support your wishes, help you feel prepared, and be the steady presence you can lean on. And because I’m also a photographer, I have a special love for capturing the little moments you may not even realize are happening — the first touch, the tears, the tiny details, and the way your family changes in an instant. My packages can also include birth photography, postpartum meal prep, and a postpartum visit, so my support doesn’t simply end when your baby arrives. I want you to feel like you found your person someone you can text, laugh with, cry with, ask the “is this normal?” questions, and feel completely comfortable being yourself around. If you’re looking for someone who will care for you like a person, not just a client, I’d love to meet you. 🤍

My mission is to create safe, empowering experiences for all birthing people—honoring your unique birth preferences, whether natural, medicated, cesarean, or VBAC (vaginal birth after cesarean). Growing up in East Palo Alto, I was inspired by the strength of my community and the compassion of my grandmother and mother, who were community leaders and nurturers. With over a decade of childcare experience and a passion for birth work sparked in 2017, I founded All Hues LLC in 2023 to provide holistic, personalized care. My comprehensive training in Birth, Loss, and Postpartum Care, alongside certifications in Placenta Encapsulation and OSHA Bloodborne Pathogens Safety, equips me to meet your needs with evidence-based knowledge, practical tools, and emotional reassurance. I am committed to addressing inequities in perinatal care and providing inclusive, affirming support to all families, especially Black families, families of color, LGBTQ+ families, single parents, and surrogates. Through compassionate guidance, I help you navigate the challenges and joys of parenthood with confidence and ease. Hi, I'm Kristin Guess! My journey into birth work began when I attended a DONA International workshop in 2018. After supporting my first birth, I knew that doula work was exactly where I belonged. I remember driving home with a huge smile, filled with a sense of joy and awe—as if I had witnessed one of life’s greatest secrets: the arrival of a new being, full of possibility. No matter how unique each experience is, that feeling of wonder never fades. It is truly an honor and privilege to be present for such a profound moment in people’s lives. I was born and raised just outside of Sacramento and spent 2 years after high school living in Germany before making my way to the Bay Area for college. During the pandemic years, I moved to Portland, Oregon. The Pacific Northwest is beautiful, but California is where my heart is. I’m now excited to get to call Half Moon Bay home. I am excited and grateful for the opportunity to support Bay Area families once again. As a DONA-certified, evidence-based doula, my role is to help you feel informed, empowered, and at ease throughout your birthing journey. I love working with birthing people and becoming a team to create an environment that feels safe and one where you feel heard and respected. I believe deeply in individualized support and the importance of continuing education.   In my free time you can find me biking or walking the HMB Coastal Trail, listening to a podcast, gardening, watercoloring or baking some sourdough.

Hi! I’m Sheralka, a certified Postpartum & Infant Care Doula, mother, fine artist, and founder of Genesis Postpartum Care. I provide compassionate overnight postpartum and newborn support to families throughout the San Francisco Bay Area. My passion for postpartum care comes from both my professional caregiving background and my personal journey into motherhood. Becoming a mother deepened my understanding of just how important it is for families to feel supported, reassured, and cared for during those early weeks. My approach is gentle, attentive, and judgment-free. I believe every family deserves care that respects their individual needs, parenting preferences, and values. Whether I’m tending to your newborn, offering a listening ear, or helping you get some much-needed rest, my goal is to bring peace of mind and a comforting presence into your home. Beyond postpartum care, I’m also a fine artist specializing in hyperrealistic portraiture, with a particular passion for capturing the beauty of newborns and motherhood. Through Genesis Postpartum Care, I bring these two passions together by offering families the opportunity to commission meaningful, personalized artwork that celebrates their journey into parenthood. I believe the beginning of parenthood deserves to be supported, cherished, and remembered. I would be honored to be part of your family’s journey!

Ronit was a fabulous addition to my birth team. My husband and I spoke with quite a few doulas looking for the right match. When we spoke with Ronit, we felt a connection fairly quickly. I could tell Ronit was going to be supportive, nurturing and not pushy. Ronit is kind, soothing and open minded. Like with many pregnancies, my third trimester was riddled with visits to triage, and very close medical supervision. Ronit was ready to learn about the complexities that were developing and looking for updates and how to best support eachl step of the way. Very much connected to her doula work is Ronit’s ability to provide comfort through touch and body work. Ronit provided me with an amazing and relaxing prenatal massage just days before I delivered. While I labored, I didn’t sleep at all and Ronit’s comforting touch was able to keep me relaxed through the night until it was “go time”. Ronit can read the room and was ready to shift into being one of my biggest cheerleaders as we came through the home stretch before delivery—just what I needed.

My path to postpartum work began with my own experience as a new mother of twins. I know firsthand what it means to be undone by those early weeks — the exhaustion, the emotion, the strange beauty of it — and I know what a difference it makes to have someone steady beside you. That's what I'm here to offer. For most of human history, new mothers were surrounded by community support for weeks after birth. That's no longer the norm — but it doesn't mean the need has gone away. It just means most families are navigating this time without the help they were always meant to have. My approach is relational, responsive and practical. I bring genuine care, capable hands-on support, and a deep reverence for this time in your life. I believe the postpartum weeks deserve to be more than just survived. With the right support around you, they can be something you look back on with real tenderness. That's what I want for you! I'm a certified postpartum doula trained through Cornerstone Birthwork, a twin mom of 6-year-olds, and someone who finds meaning in the everyday practices that sustain life — good food, unhurried presence, and a little humor when it's needed.

It is with great joy that I recommend our postpartum doula, Kelly Franson, www.daymoondoula.com. We hired Kelly to support our family for three months postpartum as we navigated life with our second child. Kelly began her work with us the day we came home from the hospital. We walked into a home full of flowers, homemade tea blends, beautiful snacks, warm porridge on the stove, and a bedroom prepared for rest and care. Over the days and weeks, Kelly became my companion; she listened as I processed my birth, navigated breastfeeding challenges, and learned how to care for both a toddler and a newborn. I was fragile, and she was steady. She is a creative thinker, helping two sleep-deprived parents find more ease in our home, whether through practical support (how to set up our space more effectively) or more nuanced guidance (how to support our toddler through such a significant transition with the arrival of a new sibling). Other words that come to mind when I think of Kelly are patient, warm, present, reliable, wise, and funny. What better qualities to have alongside you in the postpartum period? With her, I was not alone. Because I now have two postpartum experiences to draw from—one without Kelly, and one (thankfully) with—I can clearly see the tremendous value she brings to the intense and beautiful fourth trimester. Please message me if you have any questions!

As first-time parents, we were nervous and unsure about many aspects of caring for a newborn, but Queenie’s guidance and steady, reassuring presence made everything feel manageable from the very beginning. She provided hands-on support with newborn care, including soothing the baby, helping us understand feeding cues, and offering practical advice on daily routines and sleep. During nighttime care, Queenie was calm, attentive, and highly responsive, which allowed us to get much-needed rest while knowing our baby was in capable hands. She always took the time to explain what she was doing and why, helping us build confidence as new parents. Queenie was also very supportive during the postpartum recovery period. Her thoughtful care, emotional reassurance, and calm demeanor helped create a peaceful environment and greatly eased our anxiety. With her support, we were able to rest, recover, and feel more confident each day. We are deeply grateful for Queenie’s dedication, professionalism, and genuine compassion, and we truly feel fortunate to have had her as our doula.

We were incredibly fortunate to have Liv care for our daughter from 2 to 3.5 months old. She was consistently kind, attentive, and genuinely caring, treating our baby with so much patience, gentleness, and love. Our daughter has moderate laryngomalacia, which required extra attention and care, and Liv handled it with remarkable compassion and dedication. When our daughter was sick or uncomfortable, Liv would stay up with her, holding her upright for extended periods to help her breathe and rest more comfortably. She always put our baby’s well-being first and never hesitated to go above and beyond to ensure she was cared for. As new parents, it gave us tremendous peace of mind knowing our daughter was in such capable and loving hands overnight. Liv was reliable, nurturing, and attentive to our daughter’s needs, and we always felt confident that she was safe, comforted, and cared for. Beyond her excellent care of our baby, Liv was also supportive and reassuring to us as parents during those early months. Her calm presence, experience, and genuine affection for our daughter made a meaningful difference for our family. We are deeply grateful for everything Liv did for our family and would wholeheartedly recommend her to any family looking for a compassionate, trustworthy, and exceptional night doula.
