I also have a Bachelor's degree in Social Work from Colorado State University Pueblo. I completed postpartum doula training with DONA. I then started working as a postpartum doula with San Antonio Birth Doulas where the emphasis was on serving teen and lower-income families. My name is Fable Rodgers-Kurilenko and i've been a practicing Postpartum Doula(and occasional Birth Doula) for nearly two years after a long history with Nannying and being a Daycare teacher. I became a Doula because I longed to become more connected to families and mothers but within the Daycare setting due to conflicts of interest, was un able to do so. I had been interested in doula work since my early teens. My mother even bought me birth books in high school!
